The most underrated band in the world. These guys have been pumping out amazing music for 40 years and I will put them up against any band. They deserve more respect!
A band sadly and curiously unrecognized in their home country. Fischer Z was the dog's bollocks at this time, so many superb songs of which this one is a standout. John Watts had a great voice and one hell of a bass player in David Graham.

Ik was toen 14 jaar!!!! ik had voor mijn pa de voor en achtertuin omgespit en als tegen prestatie kreek ik een kaartje voor pinkpop 30 guldens toendertijd!!! Ik was eigenlijk voor Madness en Ian Dury gegaan, maar dit optredenwas voor mij echt het hoogtepunt! en ik was met mijn 14 jaar helemaal overweldigd door de rode rookpotten, Red Sky Over Paradise inderdaad!

What a great discovery - my favourite stalker song of the 80s 'Marliese'- but also a GREAT GREAT pop song. John Watts wrote quite a few of them.

Not the most charismatic person, but what a killer song. Live version sounds as good or even better than the original
