Wuthering Waves is soo much better than Genshin Impact and here are the reasons: 1. Graphics - WW graphics are 10 times better than Potato Impact which is huge for a serious PC gamer like myself. 2. Combat System - WW combat system is also way better(heaps more fun imo) - obviously massive plus. 3. Artifacts - WW have root based artifacts meaning you can farm much as you want, unlike Genshit Impact's super limited resin plus 99% crap artifacts combo. - On top of that it's million times easier to get gg or perfect artifacts, so many people already have several perfect or near artifacts in WW. - So its day and night compared to game like Genshin.. 4. Wishes - WW wish system is super generous compared to Genshin, plenty of people got 5 stars within 2-3x 10 wishes. - WW doesn't have total scam weapon wish like Genshin.. you get the 5 star weapon you select within 80 pulls(usually much quicker). - WW developers already gave everyone one FREE 5 star hero, you know samething Genshin did for 3rd anniversary.. cough (& you also get another FREE 5 star weapon when you reach lvl45) - Have fun getting Furina weapon by getting another two totally useless 5 star weapon first) Honestly way i see it Genshin died on the release day of WW, personally I've spent tons of $$$ in Genshin but i will NOT be spending another cent on that total rip-off game made for old Nokia phones graphics.

Neuvillette absolutely does not need C1 to be absolutely fucking broken. His AOE is MASSIVE so you can still damage an enemy from halfway across the floor. Not only that, but he also moves as fast as a run (not sprint) even when blasting a Hydro pump. It is BEYOND easy to dodge and weave with Neuvillette. If you take damage, just reset the floor, and learn attack patterns. You Don't just need to charge your laser and then go braindead for 4 seconds standing still directly up the enemy's ass, use that AOE and movement to dodge
I disagree, compared to many other DPs, including Lyney and Ganyu, who benefit from a shield. Nueve has the biggest damage loss without one. No inbuilt damage resistance, no taunt and very little I frames. His c1 is what makes him the best DPS in the game and pure bait. I refuse to play him without a shield just not worth the frustration. I'd rather bring Ayato for example in Nilou clear a few seconds slower but still enough than have to do a bunch of resets because a a rock was thrown at Nuev
@@magiclover9346 But unlike Lyney or Ganyu, Neuvillette doesn't have his ass glued directly to the floor while he's using his charged attack stuck in Bennett's Circle Impact. Just move out of the way, there's hardly any attacks you can't dodge with his very solid movement speed, and that's assuming you're close enough to be hit by them in general, which you shouldn't be
@@rocrod430 I would agree but the current abyss all chambers on 12 have a mixture of close and long range attackers. Keeping your distance from the Kenki's is not enough. I would agree if we were only fighting single enemies at a time that telegraph. Eg Cappelia but that's not the case in the current abyss. Dodge one Kenki and the other gets you or they split up unless you heard them. Same side two with the Fatui Agents. They attack so frequently and do follow ups with long range. I also don't play on PC where I can adjust sensitivity and play with poor ping. All those things compound to make Nuev really frustrating without a shield. I guess that my main argument against the git good argument. You already need alot to be going your way. Sometimes I have a half second input delay
@@magiclover9346 Once you know how to kite, 90% of the time you'll be able to avoid getting interrupted at all. And the "DPS loss" you're talking about is so insignificant with the hardest content available in the game. I've been using either Baizhu or Archaic Zhongli on my c0 Furina Neuv core and never have I thought that 40k-60k per tick CAs with a proto amber is a form of "weak DPS". As a horizontal investor in the game, I never see the reason to even consider spreadsheet impact and pretend that I'll be dealing that same damage remotely close to 80% of the time in practice. Besides, like I mentioned, 1mil DPR with a shielder is by no means close to a "DPS loss", considering the pure f2p investment of this Furina Neuv core team.
As a hu tao main (c6 r3 over the years) arle is just better. and its not about damage of roles or weapons or how to play them. its about ease of access and use. the fact arle's infusion is not timer based is insane and her playstyle is just mash attack. compared to hu tao with animation cancelling and stricter party comps (needing to vape for half/most of her damage) I tell people to just get arle.

Xiao being the most expensive for good damage, then nilou, then the rest are fairly f2p friendly[in order(still from most exp) neuvi(requires C1 if skill issue), haitham(requires nahida in best teams), arle(requires mainly the Power 5(Benny, xiangling, fishl, sucrose and XQ)]
i straight up have every member of Xiao's top team except for him, i have Xianyun, Furina (C1) and Faruzan (C6) i could actually get him right this instant and my only concern would be artifacts and weapon

Yup very glad Tho i personally wouldn't put Xiao or especially Nilou in top 5 dps from an "overall perspective" Nilou due to some obv reasons that shes not technically an onfield dps which this list is for. She strong af in aoe sure but she aint ur onfield carry,the same goes for Xl and such As for Xiao ,yes in his particular bis team he's at SSS tier,but outside of that he's as we all k really not that strong and even at best A tier and not to mention definitely highly restrictive char ofc due to Faru need too so all in all sure his best team is part of genshin's best teams. But as an individual from overall and how flexible,universal their potential is he losses to chars like Hu tao anyday and Navia Ayaka imo. Brings to me next point that these 3 r imo at least,the Elite 3 Dpses/ top 4-6 of game. While ofc top 3 aka Big 3 r obv as u k Hydro dragon,Feable scholar,#4 Harbinger. Anyways so proud of my main Navia,she's such a massive W character,gotta thank MHY for the absolute amazing design.
Xiaos premium team literally fixes every issues people complain about before, plus with bonus buffs that elevate him to new heights. Energy is no longer a problem with 3 anemos, all characters in FFXX does some sort of sub dps dmg if you have Faruzan C6, no cicle impact caused by Bennett, and don't forget Xiao has a good option artifact set now (MH) so you don't have to farm the accursed Vermillion domain.
Also a thing people forget Xianyun gives even more critrate (4-10%) for plunge attacks which allows xiao to get away with even lower crit rate from artifacts. Furina's buff matches xiaos uptime which bennett's didnt and you get grouping from faruzan. Also for all the poor people out there you dont even have to build xianyun properly, just slap a TTDS on her and u get decent value if you dont have 5star weapons or oathsworn.

Xiao energy problems is a joke nowadays. I don’t even use his skill sometimes cos it takes field time but IF I USE it I use it inside the burst. Cos end of the day when I swap back to him his burst is ready. That is. 113% er xiao. C6 faru
Yea this is why I prefer characters like Wanderer that don’t rely on ult. So much easier to use in overworld, and don’t have to save certain moves. What’s the point of a character’s moves if you’re constantly saving them. Like at some point, you get so strong that nothing is worth wasting your character’s ult. Then you end up never using your full combo. Genshin is weird like that.
FFXX is completely different team, my f2p xiao can beat every enemy even if it has anemo ress, 2-2.5 rotations are good enough to finish them w/o worrying abt his ER and his ST dmg got sky rocketed by CR its crazy ppl nowadays still compare him to wanderer, even if his team need high investment, its like any other character, there is no f2p team who compete with whale or even dolphins power level
@thantoo11 Baizhu buffs spread and hyperbloom damage. By a lot. Not as much as c2 Nahida, but it's a noticeable difference. And with him being the offield healer, you can use a real on field electro dps. That way, your hyperblooms can catch Nahida's burst buff, baizhu's burst buff, and do more innate damage than kuki could ever do!
@@xiholliday you don't need baozuhi for bloom teams, there's a reason why nahida kuki and xq are the main cores of that team, baizhu as a replacement for nahida is just not worth it bc her off field DPS is way higher, the only good team baizhu has is Baizhu furina cyno and fischl or another electro.
We just gonna forget how Vars made a “why no one plays” for Xiao after Faruzan came out where he said Faruzan didn’t help him much? I guess he doesn’t need to keep his word and consult credible TCs if a character is called good by everyone for so long that even someone as ignorant as him figures it out.

I'll always be amazed that a character that's second BiS weapon is a craftable can solo floors of the abyss as c0. Definitely one of, if not, the best character a f2p can get.
Assuming you're talking about Neuvillette, his second BiS is not Prototype Amber, it's Sacrificial Jade, which can only be obtained through the BP. But he does so much damage on his own that you don't need his sig or the BP weapon to output insane damage with him.

9:25 Coppelia and Coppelius have 75% anemo res, and are in the abyss all the time 7:26 Neuvillette, Furina (Tarta), Zhongli, Kazuha is his best team for personal damage, so I don't think needing a shield is a issue (Sig isn't the best example, Neuvillette doesn't want another hydro in his team for his passive).
@@Dakyi no, the more cons the better because zhongli is the only one outside of Furina able to buff his damage with petra and shred and in aoe fischl is only able to hit one ennemy wich make buffing Neuvillette better
Nah uh, besides being difficult to pay attention to picking up the crystals on the ground, the damage that a fischl deals even in AoE scenarios is higher than the damage that a zhongli can provide, In addition to fischl generating more particles, it can be built to help damage only Neuvilette's own or another sub-dps. @@Ohenheim

My top danage dealers (on my account) are Wanderer, Arle, Alhaitham, Tighnari, and Venti. I JUST got Alhaitham, so he isn't fully built, but his damage is really good already!
Its crazy how even though we are getting so many busted characters. national team and its variants is still competitive to the new dps and teams and heck even improve with new characters.

I used to main xiao and I don’t really think he’s top 5 here unless you talk about the heavy investment he requires like c6 faruzan and xianyun to even be competitive with top dps, there’s so many new good dps like navia, lyney etc. that far surpass his dpr without high end investment and support
He's a hyper carry not a reaction dps...they always require more investment... You cannot make other every character as efficient as xiao even with all the investment... He's just really good but Bennett is a very bad support for him and he was the only one that he had back then..and as a Navia main ..i disagree...lyney and Navia are single target so they fall short compared to xiao in aoe situation...even with high investment
I agree with many of the characters in this video. Personally, I think an argument can be made for Cyno these days when given his best team. Furina, Baizhu, Nahida/Fischle. I think people are still sleeping on him because of his poor reception during his release.
You've been tough but fair with Xiao over the years. Glad to see him on this list. Right now I'm using the Xianyun, Xiao, Furina and Faruzan team consistently.
with Alhaitham jamie (kb9v) was saying on stream a whiles back Alhaitham's personal dmg is calcing the same as C6 Fischl if fischl replaced his spot. (nahida/kuki + xq/yelan/furina). he's a big fan of low budget speedruns in both EN and CN community spends a lot of time trawling through submissions, and always says alhaitham not showing up in good clears.
I think the best video would be 'Who is the top 5 dps character to master' and' who is the top 5 easiest dps character to use' (ideally this video fits the latter) i am curious who would be in the former though
No offense but... For the sole reason that I dont need any constellation for Arlecchino to play her normally and do tons of damage. She is way better then Who Tao who runs out of stamina to do damage without her constellation. I could understand that beeing the case if her damage was mindboggling, but it never was. In my opinion she should not use stamina for her charged attacks even at C0.
using the logic of your first sentence people don't need hu taos c1 if they jump cancel. Dont get me wrong though arlecchino is a slightly better unit than hu tao, but she doesn't really blow hu tao out. More like a 5-10% difference in dps while at c6 is when the real difference happens where arlecchino is doing like 20-30% more due to her stronger cons.
@@Aztracity Jump cancel doesn't really solve the problem with spending stamina with the charged attacks. It just makes the stamina run out at a slower pace. With C1, Hu Tao could use her charged attacks infinitely using jump cancel as well.
@@123leyang321if you jump cancel at c0 your stamina is enough to do CAs throughout the whole skill duration. C1 is good because it allows for a couple more CAs with dash cancel

4:30 - that’s one of the main things I like about Arle. Her infusion doesn’t just disappear by switching out; like Diluc and Noelle. I feel like the rest of the characters with infusion should be like that
If I'm not mistaken Noelle's infusion doesn't disappear either. You can freely switch characters and as long as duration lasts. Maybe Clorinde will also be like that.
I'm getting back into Genshin after a long break and Xiao was always my guy. Picked up C2 Faruzan recently and planning on going for Furina next, and I wanted to know if Jean is an okay substitute for Xianyun while I wait for her to come back?
It does work! The only downside of Jean is that you're still locked on circle impact. Being able to run around free with Xiao is a life changer, but you can still make do while mommy bird comes back. Jean and Furina have good synergy together too. You can choose to use noblesse on Jean if you want to buff Xiao or VV if you want to shred hydro for Furina and use her in other teams.
Top 5 DPS Characters in Genshin: 5. None of them. Some of them may be more efficient than others, but pretty much every character can clear the most content and spiral abyss with enough abyss. Play who you want. 1. Neuvillete on the highest dpi possible on your mouse
Arlechhino so strong that she’s still my main DPS at AR 38, even though I can’t get her past level 40 due to still being in the Inazuma Archon Quests and not venturing to Fontaine yet 😭😭 all other characters are 70 and here she goes out damaging all of em
As a casual player who doesn't take abyss much seriously, Neuvillette is the DPS who gave me the confidence to even try out floor 12 and on my first clear with him I managed to get 32 star and 35 starred most of the abyss resets after getting his bestie (Furina) then to my first ever 36 star this January when I got Raiden who fixed my second team... And now I no longer avoid abyss lol bcz those free 600 primos :) I like the balance I do in my every abyss clear, one side chilling with Neuvi Hypercarry and other side on full adrenaline rush with either Rational or Arle team.... Nevertheless I am one of the few people who like Neuvi's playstyle, drowning enemies is quite satisfying to watch loll... Pulled him just because of his majestic looks and drip, didn't even think twice, and I never regretted that decision....
@@malos33 if you watched the video he talks about self sustaining dps and others who requires a certain team makeup. For example xiao isn’t really top dps but with the team he presented he is a lot stronger.

I'll replace Xiao with Navia if I could Less investment more fun, just Navia, 1 support like Bennett and 2 random element character You can team up Nilou with Barbara, Dendro mc, and collei. But Faruzan and XIanyun for Xiao is a must have
Only faruzan is a must have for Xiao. The dmg difference in bennet-zl and furina-xianyun is minimal. FFXX team only gives you more quality of life, no circle impact and some single target dmg. Both teams dmg output is very similar.
You dont need to watch a video like this to know, that the current top 5 true OP DPS Characters are just Arlecchino, Neuvilette, Navia, Alhaitham and Xiao. Arlecchino, just because shes the current most powerful newest Event character and they clearly had to make her better than Hu Tao, so the powercreep was naturally expectable. Neuvilette - just explains itself, in regard of comfort hes even much easier to play with his massive wet Kamehame Ha , than anybody else, just blast off n watch everythign die in seconds Navia - no other character has so much insane frontloaded DPS just from her E-Skill, havign her in the party makes up for a huge dps difference in places like Abyss, Nilou is nice, but too niche Xiao is just the latest big profiteur from the implementatino of Xianyun, which buffed Xiao back into relevancy and with Faruzans help and her, Xiao is just simpler to play than Hu Tao and more versatile, plus he isnt fucked if others in coop brign healers, he loves healers, which is a natural huge plus over Hu Tao Alhaitham, because is just currently the best Dendro DPS designed for that role and he simply outclasses other DPS like Ayato, which would require to receive indirect buffs like Xiao got it via Faruzan and Xianyun, because there is yet no dedicated Hydro Supporter like Faruzan, nor is there yet a character similar like Xianyun, which synergizes so perfectly well with Ayato, that it effectively "buffs" him ,if played together with that new character because thats M;HYs way of buffing outdated charqacters.. instead of directly buffing the characters, they indirectly buff them via adding always only new characters, or new artefacts, which provide then better synergy effects than anythign else that ever existed before, in order to bring outdated characters this way back into relevancy., just like Xiao became suddenly again relevant with the help of the existance now of Xianyun. Before that, we was just again outdated and not worth it to be mentioned even, because Hu Tao would just deliver better results.
@@MJAY552 xiao doesn’t only do single targets (specifically his burst) particularly, I’ve been doing Xiao for a long time since 2021 and he’s been hitting the same damage with with other opponents next to the enemy I’ve been going for. Scara as an AoE dealer, building him is a no shot. I love wanderer myself I have him and I try every build guide but none of them pop off like my xiaos 30k-150K dmgs but that doesn’t mean he does less dmg than single target characters. I usually hit 15-25k (sometimes 30k but it’s rare) with scara which is really a lot for himself. I don’t know, it’s just my point of view on here, I respect your point here. If you’re talking about smth else then please explain so I can understand.
@@calamity4551 nah he isn't mid though at high investment ofc at low investment then yes he is somewhat mid but that can be said for these hypercarries minus the big three dpses. but he definitely deserved top 5 now after all these buffs.

here is one of the best nilou team that i always use for clearing the abbyss since her release well technicaly after furinas too. nilou, furina, kirara, and yaoyao (trust me it is more fun using kirara), just set up your nilou skill, furina skill, throw yuegui out, and just run around with kirara skill they'll just clear the floor effortlessly
Well like I'm not saying she's an amazing on-field dps but she pretty decent. Not the best way to play her but she does do damage (not enough to be in top 10 tho)
i mean, the game isnt so hard to the point where you need to rely on meta. if you love a character that much you can make them work, and at the end of the game, it's your account not anyone else's.
I wouldnt say bad, it can just make the game tedious. You cant really farm with only 1 built character, and thats assuming the waifu or husbando you picked is actually good
as a console player on ps5, the "spin to win" part of neuvillette does not work because you cant flick and just let him spin even if you have max sensitivity just spinning in a circle doesnt work either, however he is still a strong dps, and my main because he just drowns everyone with water (correct me if i'm wrong never played on pc but thats what it looks like)
I'm sorry if I sound rude or this may come off as hate but for me. Nilou is more of a support that enables a reaction team than she is a dps. Imo, in certain reaction teams like bloom, taser, overload, etc, the transformative reactions are the dps instead of the character enhancing and enabling it per se.
Nilou is more of a sub DPS, she doesn't do much damage by herself (ignoring the C2 here) but instead it's what she spawns that does the damage. She's not necessarily on field for her damage, kinda like yelan or Miko. Therefore she is imo a sub DPS character
i got nilou c0 and her weapon r1 since release. She carry my abyss 36* since then. When there's 1 enemy, full team deals 35k/bloom, but when there's 10 enemy it deals 35k*10 every one or two seconds. Sadly, they started in 12 floor put enemies divided or single chunky bosses, but still she is an army destroyer.
My "Ain't nobody got time fo' dis" team is Alhaitham - Cyno - Tarts - Zhongli and my swap outs are Xiao and Eula depending on the boss. I love my Haitham and hoping to get him C1 next update
Nilou isn’t a dps. She doesn’t on field she enables the closest you could argue is sub dps and even that’s a stretch , other units could’ve been slotted instead, nilou is still an amazing unit but she isn’t a dps

since I never got C6 Faruzan (stuck at C5 for more than a year), Navia > Xiao for me, I wanted to pull on Wanderer's banner for a chance at C6 but I lost 50/50 on Jean before I got Faruzan so I called it quits since now I'm guarenteed for Clorinde, I BEG OF HOYO to give another Faruzan for free, OR AT LEAST UPDATE THE DAMN GLITTER SHOP so it has newer 4* cons on them!
I’m actually really happy with this list :) I hoped hu tao would be top 5 because I dont r e a l l y consider nilou to be a dps but to each their own 🌟 (plus I have all of hu taos top 3 teams and bonker stats on her so I may be a little bias)
Nilou is questionable here as she's not an on field dps but Alhaitham, Arlecchino and the monstrosity known as Neuvillette are obvious in the top 5, Xiao after all the upgrades makes sense, it's the 5th slot who is questionable, like could it be either Lyney, Hu Tao or Navia i'm not sure about childe since his teams are usually 50% him and 50% XL?. Ayaka i'm not sure if she fits top 5 anymore, since she's pretty abyss dependant and cryo dpses are having it rough these days minus maybe wrio(But wrio is mostly due to his flexibility and at high investment could be argued to be better than Ayaya.)
Nilou ISN’T a dps, she’s not built like a dps, she’s not played as a dps, her signature weapon isn’t designed like a weapon for a dps character. Nilou is and always will be a buffer. She’s built like a buffer and played like a buffer. Just because her buff is more impactful than most other buffers doesn’t make her not a buffer.
@@tavinhoo by that logic Bennett is one of the best dps, considering that his buff almost doubles the damage of atk scalers. Nilou is for bloom what Bennett is for hyper teams - a very strong, almost irreplaceable buffer.

I wanna get Xiao, but mainly because he's included in his video. BUT he gives me a reason to pull for more characters, which equals to more possible teams. But I will still be using my boy Wanderer in the overworld.
With what she provides, I personally think Nilou is more fitting for Sub-Dps title rather than Main-Dps. Yes the bountiful cores are because of her, but it’s not from her personal damage. It’s the bloom core damage which, yes she can trigger, but she requires a dendro to do so. She feels more like a sub-dps in the sense that she is a bloom buffer rather than a full on dps. Just my opinion though
But without nilou most of the dmg of the team would disssapear, so she could be in fact considered to be some kind of DPS.. although she may not be the one triggering the dendro cores, she is still the one enabling them to work

i think cyno could fit into a honorable mention list since he has potentially the highest damaging quickbloom team in the game, but due to how expensive he is and how some of his mechanics can feel i can see why though.
I agreed with Vars on putting Nilou as a DPS, even though I still don't have her🥹, because IMO. You can build any bloom team without Nilou and it's just a base Bloom team with base Bloom damage but when you put Nilou and build a bloom team around her then you'll get the bountiful cores bloom team, with that said even though Nilou isn't your typical DPS, she's still the core character (no pun intended) into Nilou Bloom team because it's her mechanics that enables the DAMAGE PER SECOND of her bountiful cores. That's my take on that. 😂😂
It's Mona's debuff, Kazuha's damage increase and Bennett's attack buff that enable teams to do damage per screenshots, and you still call them supports. Nilou is a support. Support doesn't mean only healing, it also means boosting damage in any way (buffing, debuffing, changing how a reaction works, etc). While the core's damage scales with her HP due to the mechanic, you still want the highest EM character in the party to trigger them for even further damage. So the main DPS/driver in the party will be the character with highest EM. At C6, however, she can become a main DPS easily.
14:53 for an example of this I have my Navia on Marechaussee Hunter because I pair her with Furina and that gets her to about 90% Crit rate and you have no idea how agonizing it is when Navia uses her shotgun and you see small numbers. Pain peko.
I've said it in other places, but I think Neuvillette is too powerful to be fun. The visuals of his kit get boring pretty quickly, and his ability to not give a shit about his teammates just makes him less enjoyable. Out of every character in the game, he's my biggest regret pull, and now with Arlecchino, he's going to to be benched for the foreseeable future.
One of the things that I have done to circumvent the same issue is that I didnt 'build' him to a point he is doing too much damage. That way I have to use the other team members to increase his damage therefore having an incentive to use them. It almost feels like doing a rotation everytime I am fighting the enemies.
As a returning player with only kazuha and furina I want exactly the kind of characters that get talked about this way xD too good to be fun yes please

I think Xiao here is just unfair. The fact that he needs 2 limited 5* and a newer c6 4* to contend is so restrictive, and that still has issues. Comparing him to Arllechinno, Neuvillette, Alhaitham and even Nilou since she can use almost any hydro and dendro character… The fact is that he puts out similar DPS to Navia, Hu Tao, Childe and Wanderer, and all of them are way more versatile or easy to build, and can tackle pretty much anyone in the game (And Xiao is prone to interruption similar to Neuvillette and Arllechino, but his dmg falls way further than them with a shield).
Xiao literally does better ST dmg than Navia and close to hutao while having way better AOE than them. Wanderer is worse than Xiao after xianyun in both ST and AOE. Hutaos best team has 4 limited 5*s too and her other comps also usually have 3 5*s. Also, interruption is kinda irrelevant for Xiao cuz u cant get interrupted while ur plunging.
Bro listen to what he said before saying the characters. He made the list off the assumption you can maximize there dps output. By that regard a c0 xiao with his dream team is one of the best possible teams to play rn.
It's a misconception that xiao needs furina and xianyun. All that he ever needs is a faruzan and you can play zl-bennet and get similar dmg output. What furina-xianyun provides is quality of life, no circle impact and some single target dmg which xiao didn't lack in the first place if you know the bonk tech. Once a character gets their exodia team, people forget other options exist. The only necessity is faruzan.

Bosses that survive against xiao for 15sec+: Anemo hypostasis, Coppelia, Andrius and Oceanid. Magu Kenki and Storm terror could probably also survive 15 dues to long ass animations and invincibility periods
There are so many things wrong with this list arlecchino burst being 5/5? It's a DPS loss sometimes. Alhaitham having equal pull value to Nahida? That's just wrong in so many ways
Xiao is nr 3? At least put in Childe, Hu Tao, or F**k it, put AlHaitham there. He requires so much less investment for so much more damage while also covering different elements. Like even those other chars are better DPSes than Xiao unless you have insane investment on him (C2+ Furina, Xianyun, her sig and or/C2, C6 Faruzan etc)
Nilou is the dps ... Shes the one creating bountiful cores ... Of she wasnt in the team there would be no bountiful cores to deal damage with.. saying shes enabler or sub dps ..is like saying oz is the sub dps not fischl because she doesnt do anything.. everything done is by oz.. but oz is part of fishcls kit therefore fishcl is the sub dps same way.. nilous passive makes the bountiful cores that deal dmg therefore shes the dps in the team bountiful cores are the main source of dmg.. and they belong to nilou therefore shes the dps

i think nowadays the only cryo dps that could make it to the top 5 dps list, it could be Wrio but even i think it's questionable, like yeah wrio's ceiling isn't higher than Ayaka, but he's pretty flexible and easier to play, the only problem i find is.. at c0 he's pretty rough to play if you can't dodge.
Cryo's biggest weakness is the inability to react with dendro I fear.. although burnmelt and hyper fridge is still viable, no one plays them anyway when u can just go brrr hyperbloom

Wuthering Waves is soo much better than Genshin Impact and here are the reasons:
1. Graphics
- WW graphics are 10 times better than Potato Impact which is huge for a serious PC gamer like myself.
2. Combat System
- WW combat system is also way better(heaps more fun imo) - obviously massive plus.
3. Artifacts
- WW have root based artifacts meaning you can farm much as you want, unlike Genshit Impact's super limited resin plus 99% crap artifacts combo.
- On top of that it's million times easier to get gg or perfect artifacts, so many people already have several perfect or near artifacts in WW.
- So its day and night compared to game like Genshin..
4. Wishes
- WW wish system is super generous compared to Genshin, plenty of people got 5 stars within 2-3x 10 wishes.
- WW doesn't have total scam weapon wish like Genshin.. you get the 5 star weapon you select within 80 pulls(usually much quicker).
- WW developers already gave everyone one FREE 5 star hero, you know samething Genshin did for 3rd anniversary.. cough
(& you also get another FREE 5 star weapon when you reach lvl45)
- Have fun getting Furina weapon by getting another two totally useless 5 star weapon first)

Neuvillette absolutely does not need C1 to be absolutely fucking broken. His AOE is MASSIVE so you can still damage an enemy from halfway across the floor. Not only that, but he also moves as fast as a run (not sprint) even when blasting a Hydro pump. It is BEYOND easy to dodge and weave with Neuvillette. If you take damage, just reset the floor, and learn attack patterns. You Don't just need to charge your laser and then go braindead for 4 seconds standing still directly up the enemy's ass, use that AOE and movement to dodge
From your explanation it seems like you still need some skill to play him at c0, but at c1 even my dog can clear spiral abyss with him.
I disagree, compared to many other DPs, including Lyney and Ganyu, who benefit from a shield. Nueve has the biggest damage loss without one. No inbuilt damage resistance, no taunt and very little I frames. His c1 is what makes him the best DPS in the game and pure bait. I refuse to play him without a shield just not worth the frustration. I'd rather bring Ayato for example in Nilou clear a few seconds slower but still enough than have to do a bunch of resets because a a rock was thrown at Nuev

@@rocrod430 I would agree but the current abyss all chambers on 12 have a mixture of close and long range attackers. Keeping your distance from the Kenki's is not enough. I would agree if we were only fighting single enemies at a time that telegraph. Eg Cappelia but that's not the case in the current abyss. Dodge one Kenki and the other gets you or they split up unless you heard them. Same side two with the Fatui Agents. They attack so frequently and do follow ups with long range. I also don't play on PC where I can adjust sensitivity and play with poor ping. All those things compound to make Nuev really frustrating without a shield. I guess that my main argument against the git good argument. You already need alot to be going your way. Sometimes I have a half second input delay

And the "DPS loss" you're talking about is so insignificant with the hardest content available in the game. I've been using either Baizhu or Archaic Zhongli on my c0 Furina Neuv core and never have I thought that 40k-60k per tick CAs with a proto amber is a form of "weak DPS". As a horizontal investor in the game, I never see the reason to even consider spreadsheet impact and pretend that I'll be dealing that same damage remotely close to 80% of the time in practice. Besides, like I mentioned, 1mil DPR with a shielder is by no means close to a "DPS loss", considering the pure f2p investment of this Furina Neuv core team.
As a hu tao main (c6 r3 over the years) arle is just better. and its not about damage of roles or weapons or how to play them. its about ease of access and use. the fact arle's infusion is not timer based is insane and her playstyle is just mash attack. compared to hu tao with animation cancelling and stricter party comps (needing to vape for half/most of her damage) I tell people to just get arle.

But as an individual from overall and how flexible,universal their potential is he losses to chars like Hu tao anyday and Navia Ayaka imo.

Xiaos premium team literally fixes every issues people complain about before, plus with bonus buffs that elevate him to new heights. Energy is no longer a problem with 3 anemos, all characters in FFXX does some sort of sub dps dmg if you have Faruzan C6, no cicle impact caused by Bennett, and don't forget Xiao has a good option artifact set now (MH) so you don't have to farm the accursed Vermillion domain.
Also a thing people forget Xianyun gives even more critrate (4-10%) for plunge attacks which allows xiao to get away with even lower crit rate from artifacts. Furina's buff matches xiaos uptime which bennett's didnt and you get grouping from faruzan. Also for all the poor people out there you dont even have to build xianyun properly, just slap a TTDS on her and u get decent value if you dont have 5star weapons or oathsworn.

Yea this is why I prefer characters like Wanderer that don’t rely on ult. So much easier to use in overworld, and don’t have to save certain moves. What’s the point of a character’s moves if you’re constantly saving them. Like at some point, you get so strong that nothing is worth wasting your character’s ult. Then you end up never using your full combo. Genshin is weird like that.

Assuming you're talking about Neuvillette, his second BiS is not Prototype Amber, it's Sacrificial Jade, which can only be obtained through the BP. But he does so much damage on his own that you don't need his sig or the BP weapon to output insane damage with him.

Right now I'm using the Xianyun, Xiao, Furina and Faruzan team consistently.
I lost my 50/50 on Qiqi (die Qiqi) so I play him with Jean instead , not the worst honestly but I really really wanted her
with Alhaitham jamie (kb9v) was saying on stream a whiles back Alhaitham's personal dmg is calcing the same as C6 Fischl if fischl replaced his spot. (nahida/kuki + xq/yelan/furina). he's a big fan of low budget speedruns in both EN and CN community spends a lot of time trawling through submissions, and always says alhaitham not showing up in good clears.

She is way better then Who Tao who runs out of stamina to do damage without her constellation.
I could understand that beeing the case if her damage was mindboggling, but it never was.

using the logic of your first sentence people don't need hu taos c1 if they jump cancel. Dont get me wrong though arlecchino is a slightly better unit than hu tao, but she doesn't really blow hu tao out. More like a 5-10% difference in dps while at c6 is when the real difference happens where arlecchino is doing like 20-30% more due to her stronger cons.
@@Aztracity Jump cancel doesn't really solve the problem with spending stamina with the charged attacks. It just makes the stamina run out at a slower pace. With C1, Hu Tao could use her charged attacks infinitely using jump cancel as well.

If I'm not mistaken Noelle's infusion doesn't disappear either. You can freely switch characters and as long as duration lasts. Maybe Clorinde will also be like that.
I'm getting back into Genshin after a long break and Xiao was always my guy. Picked up C2 Faruzan recently and planning on going for Furina next, and I wanted to know if Jean is an okay substitute for Xianyun while I wait for her to come back?
yes shes a very good substitute my xiao cleared abyss with her before xianyun came out
It does work! The only downside of Jean is that you're still locked on circle impact. Being able to run around free with Xiao is a life changer, but you can still make do while mommy bird comes back. Jean and Furina have good synergy together too. You can choose to use noblesse on Jean if you want to buff Xiao or VV if you want to shred hydro for Furina and use her in other teams.

As a casual player who doesn't take abyss much seriously, Neuvillette is the DPS who gave me the confidence to even try out floor 12 and on my first clear with him I managed to get 32 star and 35 starred most of the abyss resets after getting his bestie (Furina) then to my first ever 36 star this January when I got Raiden who fixed my second team... And now I no longer avoid abyss lol bcz those free 600 primos :)
I like the balance I do in my every abyss clear, one side chilling with Neuvi Hypercarry and other side on full adrenaline rush with either Rational or Arle team.... Nevertheless I am one of the few people who like Neuvi's playstyle, drowning enemies is quite satisfying to watch loll...
Pulled him just because of his majestic looks and drip, didn't even think twice, and I never regretted that decision....

You dont need to watch a video like this to know, that the current top 5 true OP DPS Characters are just Arlecchino, Neuvilette, Navia, Alhaitham and Xiao.
Arlecchino, just because shes the current most powerful newest Event character and they clearly had to make her better than Hu Tao, so the powercreep was naturally expectable.
Neuvilette - just explains itself, in regard of comfort hes even much easier to play with his massive wet Kamehame Ha , than anybody else, just blast off n watch everythign die in seconds
Navia - no other character has so much insane frontloaded DPS just from her E-Skill, havign her in the party makes up for a huge dps difference in places like Abyss, Nilou is nice, but too niche
Xiao is just the latest big profiteur from the implementatino of Xianyun, which buffed Xiao back into relevancy and with Faruzans help and her, Xiao is just simpler to play than Hu Tao and more versatile, plus he isnt fucked if others in coop brign healers, he loves healers, which is a natural huge plus over Hu Tao
Alhaitham, because is just currently the best Dendro DPS designed for that role and he simply outclasses other DPS like Ayato, which would require to receive indirect buffs like Xiao got it via Faruzan and Xianyun, because there is yet no dedicated Hydro Supporter like Faruzan, nor is there yet a character similar like Xianyun, which synergizes so perfectly well with Ayato, that it effectively "buffs" him ,if played together with that new character
because thats M;HYs way of buffing outdated charqacters.. instead of directly buffing the characters, they indirectly buff them via adding always only new characters, or new artefacts, which provide then better synergy effects than anythign else that ever existed before, in order to bring outdated characters this way back into relevancy., just like Xiao became suddenly again relevant with the help of the existance now of Xianyun. Before that, we was just again outdated and not worth it to be mentioned even, because Hu Tao would just deliver better results.

@@MJAY552 xiao doesn’t only do single targets (specifically his burst) particularly, I’ve been doing Xiao for a long time since 2021 and he’s been hitting the same damage with with other opponents next to the enemy I’ve been going for. Scara as an AoE dealer, building him is a no shot. I love wanderer myself I have him and I try every build guide but none of them pop off like my xiaos 30k-150K dmgs but that doesn’t mean he does less dmg than single target characters. I usually hit 15-25k (sometimes 30k but it’s rare) with scara which is really a lot for himself. I don’t know, it’s just my point of view on here, I respect your point here.

here is one of the best nilou team that i always use for clearing the abbyss since her release well technicaly after furinas too. nilou, furina, kirara, and yaoyao (trust me it is more fun using kirara), just set up your nilou skill, furina skill, throw yuegui out, and just run around with kirara skill they'll just clear the floor effortlessly

I'm sorry if I sound rude or this may come off as hate but for me. Nilou is more of a support that enables a reaction team than she is a dps. Imo, in certain reaction teams like bloom, taser, overload, etc, the transformative reactions are the dps instead of the character enhancing and enabling it per se.

Bountiful Core is the DPS and those wouldn't exist anywhere outside Nilou so technically she's the DPS character
Nilou is more of a sub DPS, she doesn't do much damage by herself (ignoring the C2 here) but instead it's what she spawns that does the damage. She's not necessarily on field for her damage, kinda like yelan or Miko. Therefore she is imo a sub DPS character
Bountiful Cores are attached to Nilou so Nilou is the DPS 😂

i got nilou c0 and her weapon r1 since release. She carry my abyss 36* since then. When there's 1 enemy, full team deals 35k/bloom, but when there's 10 enemy it deals 35k*10 every one or two seconds. Sadly, they started in 12 floor put enemies divided or single chunky bosses, but still she is an army destroyer.

Nilou is questionable here as she's not an on field dps but Alhaitham, Arlecchino and the monstrosity known as Neuvillette are obvious in the top 5, Xiao after all the upgrades makes sense, it's the 5th slot who is questionable, like could it be either Lyney, Hu Tao or Navia i'm not sure about childe since his teams are usually 50% him and 50% XL?. Ayaka i'm not sure if she fits top 5 anymore, since she's pretty abyss dependant and cryo dpses are having it rough these days minus maybe wrio(But wrio is mostly due to his flexibility and at high investment could be argued to be better than Ayaya.)

With what she provides, I personally think Nilou is more fitting for Sub-Dps title rather than Main-Dps. Yes the bountiful cores are because of her, but it’s not from her personal damage. It’s the bloom core damage which, yes she can trigger, but she requires a dendro to do so. She feels more like a sub-dps in the sense that she is a bloom buffer rather than a full on dps. Just my opinion though
But without nilou most of the dmg of the team would disssapear, so she could be in fact considered to be some kind of DPS.. although she may not be the one triggering the dendro cores, she is still the one enabling them to work

I like how Cyno’s not even glanced at in this video. He’s just regarded as a fart in the wind that’s best forgotten and it is both hilarious and sad to me. I gave into the hype and built him up. Now he’s my strongest team, and I don’t have resources to fix it ;_;

@@stressedhaish69420 I don’t have Wanderer, but I think Wanderer is better because he at least has explore utility. I can’t comment on who out-dps’s who though, or if Wanderer’s weakness to being interrupted is as bad as Cyno’s need for a Zhongli / Baizhu.
i think cyno could fit into a honorable mention list since he has potentially the highest damaging quickbloom team in the game, but due to how expensive he is and how some of his mechanics can feel i can see why though.
I agreed with Vars on putting Nilou as a DPS, even though I still don't have her🥹, because IMO. You can build any bloom team without Nilou and it's just a base Bloom team with base Bloom damage but when you put Nilou and build a bloom team around her then you'll get the bountiful cores bloom team, with that said even though Nilou isn't your typical DPS, she's still the core character (no pun intended) into Nilou Bloom team because it's her mechanics that enables the DAMAGE PER SECOND of her bountiful cores. That's my take on that. 😂😂
It's Mona's debuff, Kazuha's damage increase and Bennett's attack buff that enable teams to do damage per screenshots, and you still call them supports. Nilou is a support. Support doesn't mean only healing, it also means boosting damage in any way (buffing, debuffing, changing how a reaction works, etc). While the core's damage scales with her HP due to the mechanic, you still want the highest EM character in the party to trigger them for even further damage. So the main DPS/driver in the party will be the character with highest EM. At C6, however, she can become a main DPS easily.
14:53 for an example of this I have my Navia on Marechaussee Hunter because I pair her with Furina and that gets her to about 90% Crit rate and you have no idea how agonizing it is when Navia uses her shotgun and you see small numbers. Pain peko.
If Navia doesn't crit she feels like the worst carry you can play. But this will never happen, right? Right???

I've said it in other places, but I think Neuvillette is too powerful to be fun. The visuals of his kit get boring pretty quickly, and his ability to not give a shit about his teammates just makes him less enjoyable. Out of every character in the game, he's my biggest regret pull, and now with Arlecchino, he's going to to be benched for the foreseeable future.
One of the things that I have done to circumvent the same issue is that I didnt 'build' him to a point he is doing too much damage. That way I have to use the other team members to increase his damage therefore having an incentive to use them. It almost feels like doing a rotation everytime I am fighting the enemies.

To me if you are doing hyper bloom the best DPS is the Hyperbloom reaction itself.

I think Xiao here is just unfair. The fact that he needs 2 limited 5* and a newer c6 4* to contend is so restrictive, and that still has issues. Comparing him to Arllechinno, Neuvillette, Alhaitham and even Nilou since she can use almost any hydro and dendro character…
The fact is that he puts out similar DPS to Navia, Hu Tao, Childe and Wanderer, and all of them are way more versatile or easy to build, and can tackle pretty much anyone in the game (And Xiao is prone to interruption similar to Neuvillette and Arllechino, but his dmg falls way further than them with a shield).
Xiao literally does better ST dmg than Navia and close to hutao while having way better AOE than them. Wanderer is worse than Xiao after xianyun in both ST and AOE. Hutaos best team has 4 limited 5*s too and her other comps also usually have 3 5*s.
Also, interruption is kinda irrelevant for Xiao cuz u cant get interrupted while ur plunging.
Bro listen to what he said before saying the characters. He made the list off the assumption you can maximize there dps output. By that regard a c0 xiao with his dream team is one of the best possible teams to play rn.

It's a misconception that xiao needs furina and xianyun. All that he ever needs is a faruzan and you can play zl-bennet and get similar dmg output.
What furina-xianyun provides is quality of life, no circle impact and some single target dmg which xiao didn't lack in the first place if you know the bonk tech.
Once a character gets their exodia team, people forget other options exist. The only necessity is faruzan.

Bosses that survive against xiao for 15sec+: Anemo hypostasis, Coppelia, Andrius and Oceanid. Magu Kenki and Storm terror could probably also survive 15 dues to long ass animations and invincibility periods
There are so many things wrong with this list arlecchino burst being 5/5? It's a DPS loss sometimes. Alhaitham having equal pull value to Nahida? That's just wrong in so many ways
Xiao is nr 3? At least put in Childe, Hu Tao, or F**k it, put AlHaitham there. He requires so much less investment for so much more damage while also covering different elements. Like even those other chars are better DPSes than Xiao unless you have insane investment on him (C2+ Furina, Xianyun, her sig and or/C2, C6 Faruzan etc)

Nilou is the dps ... Shes the one creating bountiful cores ... Of she wasnt in the team there would be no bountiful cores to deal damage with.. saying shes enabler or sub dps ..is like saying oz is the sub dps not fischl because she doesnt do anything.. everything done is by oz.. but oz is part of fishcls kit therefore fishcl is the sub dps same way.. nilous passive makes the bountiful cores that deal dmg therefore shes the dps in the team bountiful cores are the main source of dmg.. and they belong to nilou therefore shes the dps

Yea, Very well said, and needless to say my C0 Nilou with 4 star weapon has a faster cleartime than my 250+ crit dmg Arlecchino and Neuvilette (Both Crowned NA), She is insanely powerful!
@@ForschLeoDeRay totally agreed! Not only her own build is super ez (triple hp), but she can utilize units that would be very unoptimal in other situations (Barbara, Candace, yaoyao, collei etc) just by building em on them

i think nowadays the only cryo dps that could make it to the top 5 dps list, it could be Wrio but even i think it's questionable, like yeah wrio's ceiling isn't higher than Ayaka, but he's pretty flexible and easier to play, the only problem i find is.. at c0 he's pretty rough to play if you can't dodge.
Cryo's biggest weakness is the inability to react with dendro I fear.. although burnmelt and hyper fridge is still viable, no one plays them anyway when u can just go brrr hyperbloom
@@ЗлаяПетрушка or quickbloom which makes use of quicken aura as well and i'm hoping for a Thoma that heals, like as good as bain marie is. I feel like it just needs a Thoma that heals to make it 100% since it means Wrio or any Cryo dps can get buffed by both nahida and Furina, as while Baizhu is good the team still feels like it does kinda left alot to be desired since he himself has pretty low dendro app and his buff is useless for that team and the ER issues are kinda awful on that team. and i wonder if burnmelt might get a resurgence with Emilie
