- There are two great things about this fight: First, the music is awesome and second, you just have to punch this guy to death. So take your soldiers and one farmer for the hot spring and this fight should be pretty easy.

This bosses intro will forever remain the greatest cutscene in all of videogames.

This battle is one of my favorites in the game. The music really seems to fit for some reason!
Really amps up the chaos of this fight. With you having to juggle damaging the boss, stopping his healing squad and keeping yourself and your men alive.
I only just now noticed that the things he says in the intro also tell you what attack he is using
hamburger - spin attack
sharpie/pencil - pencil attack
baske/basketball - shoots crayon missiles
shanze/arithmetic - transformation? he says it at 5:27
I didn't hear him say the bathroom or bell pepper ones during the fight
He says bell pepper upon getting one of his new heads
Maybe bathroom would be summoning his cement roller onis?
Seeing as they're both wheels in a way
I skipped Long Sauvage and went to fight Jumbo instead. That Mountain was an absolute pain in my neck, especially the swinging beards towards the cave.

Man, the 7 kings. After TV Dinnah, I was sure it couldn't possibly get any weirder. But that Champloon is utter madness.
I love that music! The boss fight was fun, and the music only made it that much better.
This game has some very creative boss fights.

@DrDavias I found the first two stages challenging but workable. But the last stage, ugh, what a drag. I'll take a miner along now that I know that. They killed me. ;p
It reminds me of chibi-robo as well, specifically whenever you try to leave the area whenever there is a festival going on, and the camera centers in on the King.

I didn't even know this was out- let alone how awesome it looks! If anything this video proves it! I didn't care before saw actual gameplay! I was right in thinking its kind of like Pikmin in gameplay which is just brilliance.
It reminds me of Chibi-Robo somehow as well. But way funnier! Which is always good!

This is unquestioningly my favourite video game boss ever, though I was admittedly terrible at it at the time. xD "Stop those chocolate convoys! Oh my God, not the pencils! Aaaaargh, we're all doo--why is this music making me think of women dancing energetically in ruffly dresses?"
Well played! I took far longer on this, I wasted too much time trying to intercept the Onii reinforcement. :P Definitely my favourite boss in LKS, alongside TV Dinnah.
junk i imagine, propellers, pencils, i think the main bit of his body is a rubber/eraser...wheels, a magnet, a bell , some long thing that looks like a rake or a chimney sweeps brush lol
And not forgetting a bottle with a princess in it :D
First time fighting this everyone got turned into careless adults and I raged like never before...

Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 "The New World", is the absolute best fucking choice of music the developers could have chosen. The people who made this game are brilliant!
Yes, that's my favorite piece of classical music and it completely made my day when I fought Champloon.

I've been trying to get a list of all of Little King's Story's music. The intro is Dvorak's Symphony No.9 in E Minor Mvt 4 "From the New World." The battle music is a remix of Offenbach's Can-can. Totally awesome. Can't wait to get this boss.
I've jsut tried this boss today....i found it fairly difficult.
Just have 2 questions:
1. When King Jumbo Champloon is chicken head, when he shoots the laser down at himself before shooting it ahead, does it hurt him?
2. I've got to defeat TV Dinnah and Champloon with only 23 men, i'm struggling a bit so how did you get 30??

Beat him in about 5 min.
Are the hardened grunts tougher to kill and do they do more damage than normal grunts?
I just got ferne and im wondering how to get rid/ what people you need to kill the freaking lego blocks!

Favourite boss in the game, but I do wonder how he works. At first he's a pile of trash and then he shows his true form, then when defeated he goes back to the pile of trash. I wonder if he's dead or just defeated. Also wish he had more screentime in his full form, like maybe we could talk to him or something. Still my favourite boss fight ever, very unique.

Fun strategy, the small flying pencils can be shot down by archers, Lumberjacks can chop up the larger pencils instantly, and Chefs can scramble the chicken monsters.

I just beat this guy today(along with 4 other kings) and I ended up letting him heal so I could listen to the music a bit longer lol
also, hardened soilders make this fight so much easier I faced him with 14 injured gaurds and still ended up just messing around half the fight(luckily my chef was still alive.)

@TheVecan It IS a real language. At the the bridge in the middle of the level, turn left. There's a piece of paper hanging on the cliff side. It's a translation. I'll let you find the other papers yourself. -:3

How da heck do you do so much damage? I had 1 farmer and the rest were hardened soldiers, yet you did more damage then i did!

@59525354 well he says them then something happens like he says bathroom then worker oniis come to give him candy and he says basketball right when he gets attacked
I completed this battle with no hot springs. (did know there was one) No cooks, just 20 grunts and 10 hunters but only had a eight by the end of the battle. This guy was the longest boss ever
i hate this boss, he didnt kill any of my soldiers but he transformed all of them into CHEFS!!! the bastard!!

Damn, took me too much time to kick his a**. I died when like 4% of his life left, and always when I was so close to kill him from where-ever this stupid Oniis with the sweets revive him. anyways, that was rly fun and I just love this music.

lol this guy took me two tries. First time i died...din't really bring the best people... I brought explorers and such...and i wasn't really focused so after that boom i had to do new island all over gain. Second time brougth strong ppls like hardened soldiers and lumberjacks and chefs. and boom only 2 deaths becuase of the rollers :p
i dont know why but i always end up standing right above where the spikes come up with 1 health and the boss has literally no hp left it sucks but the game is the best game ever
