- "Nobody" is a 2021 American action thriller film directed by Ilya Naishuller and written by Derek Kolstad. The film, which stars Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen, Aleksey Serebryakov, RZA, and Christopher Lloyd, follows a mild-mannered family man who, after his house is robbed, returns to his dangerous former life of an assassin, making him the target of a vengeful crime lord. Odenkirk and David Leitch are among the film's producers. Universal Pictures released Nobody theatrically in the United States on March 26, 2021, and in the United Kingdom on June 9, 2021. The film has grossed $57 million worldwide and received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised the action sequences and Odenkirk's performance. A sequel is in development.

Fun fact: the tattoo that hutch has, being a 7 and a 2, is statistically the worst starting hand you can have in a game of Texas hold-em. This is worn by some special operations soldiers to say that they are able to take on anything
Normally you are correct, in this case specifically hutch and the director of the FBI are the only ones with playing card tattoos. In this universe the tattoos aren't special forces, it's off the books clandestine intelligence agencies, the kind of stuff conspiracy theorists have wet dreams about. A 7 and 2 off suit is known as the worst hand hand delt, meaning he's the most dangerous person you could ever encounter. As for how the vet knows to run, it's inferred he's come across a few operatives from his time in Vietnam.

"dead mans hand" common superstition in america is that this hand if drawn in poker will kill you sooner or later, if theres any other indicator on him that he might be a soldier of any sort, this tatoo basically means he is challenging death to "come and get him" meaning, he has done what every soldier needs to, to become a killer, accept that the second you enter the battlefield you are dead, death just hasnt come to you yet to cash you out.
Yeah that tells us nothing that we did not already see. Thanks for your input.

7-2 unsuited is pretty much the worst possible hand you can get (you can't get a straight with them, you're unlikely to get a winning flush, and they are the lowest non-connecting cards in the deck, which are easily beat by higher cards. Typically, you want to hold "Aces up your sleeve," but here, he's got the worst hand...and he got it tattooed on his wrist (where a hustler would hide cards).
What does it have to do with getting recognised as a veteran? He saw the tattoo and thanked him for his service
@@gabescrazy5504that “7-2 worst hands” quote is a direct quote from the movie. I believe the movie portrays it as a military tattoo designating a special ops unit. This is why the vet recognized it and noped out of the situation.
@@gabescrazy5504 the movie itself doesn’t explain it but it’ll tell you if you look it up. Yeah, it's Texas Hold'em poker. The worst hand you can be dealt. It's on the wrist because it symbolises him having the worst hand, and hand you don't want to be dealt.
Your completely wrong the deads man hand is Ace 8. Wild Bill Hickok got shot holding this hand that's why it's called the dead man's hand has nothing to do with a blackjack
That's all moot what's the name of the show
When they realize he didn't lock the doors for them 😅
Last I heard the 7-2 off suit was a tattoo that some special forces members have. Showing they managed to overcome the worst odds.
i just can’t unsee Saul
A great movie a damn good actor. 10 out of 10.
The old guy noticed his tattoo and realized he was a really great black jack player
And he didn't want to get back into gambling so he locked himself up poor fella
After they saw through his trick credentials in a second. He changed his approach and tested the old guys competence by showing him his real credentials.
Old man reacted to real credentials
There needs to be a SECOND MOVIE!
"I'm Still Nobody"
The last 2 seconds of the cashier looking all scared fk me up😂
Probably "the" best movie short I've ever seen.
He got out quick!😂
My sister who cant watch a movie with violence watched this before I did. She loved the parts she could watch without covering her whole face and feel peoples pain. Thats how i knew it was good. Gotta watch it again today!
This movie is so underrated. It’s amazing.
@@davidlindig "Nobody"
@@davidlindig It’s called Nobody. If you like the John Wick and The Equalizer movies and don’t mind even more dark humor, you’ll love this movie.
Where can I watch this plz
@@greatest5451it’s on Amazon prime
It was shite. This is the poor man's John wick.
Man Saul turned into a real badass.
The thing I loved most about this movie is that Odenkirk is definitely not the action type, that's what makes Hutch more intimidating. Many actors try to play the "unassumig badass" type, but only someone who spent the last few years working in comedic/unvirtuous roles can do this script justice, and Odenkirk nailed it.
When the old vet locked himself in that room the rest of them knew the situation just got dangerous.
