Brilliant song Nick ! - in parts it makes me think of Morricone’s soundtrack to Once Upon A Time In The West

    Oh. What a appropriate song!
    It's what they say -
    disaster never rides alone -
Radiation levels rise as fires burn near Chernobyl's former nuclear power plant.

Great track, kind of a Divine Comedy feel to it. Quick question, you once mentioned that you wrote a song with lyrics about losing your eye (or the use of it) years before you did. Have I got that right? I'm sure I remember you mentioning it. If I remembered correctly, what was the song, or what were the actual lyrics?

@@momasu Thanks I appreciate that. Wow, that's crazy. I have a lyric that I wrote that has haunted me ever since you mentioned this. I even changed the lyric in a later version of the song lol. I feel like I should just own it and keep singing it, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't worry me.

Just when you think the war is won
    It all begins again
And when you think you've reached the end
It's only the beginning of the end
The brilliant days return to grey
    Oxygen begins to disappear
What once you thought was breathing air
Begins to scarcen and to scare
The diamonds in your pockets turn to rain
The daylight in the tunnel is a train
    September, October
    It's over when it's over
And when the normal life returns
    Your pretty body burns
    Illusions, delusions
There's been this danger all along
The diamonds in the tunnel turned to rain
The bright day you saw coming was a train
    September, October?
    It's over when it's over

Another very creative pop ballad. 2020 is turning into a very good Momus year, despite it all.

So Kirin J Callinan covered "The Homosexual" by Momus, then Momus releases a music video where he appears in the sky over some hills like the video for "Big enough" - coincidence? Probably
