Memories of my childhood growing up in Maghull, The Square looks like it's been done up in the last few years (was last there in 2016, so no real surprise), and the canal is still awesome.

Left Maghull in 1983 and now living in Manitoba. Canada. I can’t believe that the Square looks almost exactly as it was when I left!! The only things missing is Woolworths, Sayers and Lennons supermarket. The Health centre was only just built if memory serves me right, but wasn’t anywhere near as big as that. Maghull motors by the Red Lion bridge is probably there and Thompsons clothing where we had to get our school uniform for Old Hall looks like it’s gone. Is the Library still there, as we used to jump our BMX’s behind it 👍🏼 Any chance of you doing a walk around at the Meadows?? Your video brought back loads of happy memories.
Great video. Lovely to see Maghul after hearing Andres speak about it. Looks beautiful down by the canal. I’m sure Andrew & Laura were delighted to see it. Keep up the great work.
