    Wonderful video, thank you very much! I particularly liked the spokeshaves from your father; what an heirloom set!
    In Denmark we call spokeshaves "bugthøvle", which translates into "bending plane". "Bugt" means something that bends or meanders". "Høvl" means plane. So it fits very well with your description of the metal spokeshaves, although we also call the wooden ones "bugthøvle". I've always found the name in Danish to be a bit peculiar, but your explanation made it make better sense to me.

    super happy I found ur videos I bought 2 levallety spoke shaves that have 2 adjusments on the back side,I can not set them for the life of me Please help Brother
