Introduction to the My Pod by Little Guy

That mattress actually goes from a double thick twin to a full by simply sliding the top half onto the floor next to the other mattress. There is also ample indoor LED lighting controlled just inside the door right near the fire extinguisher. It's a great little camper. I bought the Basic which doesn't have the entertainment center or the A/C. I felt my iPad was sufficient to keep me entertained if needed, and a 5000 BTU A/C wasn't needed with a fan right above you. Such a small space might be too cold vey quickly for my taste. For those that require it, it's nice to have.
Have you camped in the summer with it. Was the heat unbearable?
I had bought an evaporative cooler unit that fits nicely in there but I found I didn't need it. On warmer nights, I sleep with my vent open on exhaust and the door window open so air can be pulled in through the screen and across me. I have also used it that way with my head on the door end.
Your probably right about the price when they don't put the price out front it means they want to talk you into buying it. They look very nice. but with the right tools we heman can put together something that won't cost us an arm and a leg.
Its nothing more than a sleeper without the tractor in front.
YOU'RE A GENIUS
Why can't they make a My Pod like a Hi Lo trailer that can be raised up so you can stand up in it. The Aliner looks good but a lot of space is lost where it angles. Raising and lower one to where you can see out your rear window when towing would be a great new design.
It wouldn't be a Pod any longer! This is a one piece molded fiberglass shell and only weighs around 600 lbs. If it had the Hi-Lo feature, it would be much heavier and not be able to be towed by the vehicles this one is made for. I'm sure that if a manufacturer believes that it would sell, they will consider it. Feel free to contact them directly online at Little Guy Trailer. I wish those windows opened up and maybe a screen door cuz just one fan would not be enough for air circulation
Check out the Helio, it does that. Just does not have a TV or storage cabinets.
Are the 12v items powered by the bikes battery or does it have a separate battery? If so then how do you keep that battery charged up?
Deep Cycle battery that will be in front. As you tow your vehicle keeps it charged, if you are plugged in or if you use a solar panel.

Why would you want to watch TV? If I were camping and traveling, that would be a downer because the purpose of camping is disconnecting.
Everyone enjoys different things while camping. Some like to watch a movie, some like to watch nothing. At least you have a options. Thanks for watching!

Cost of materials, labor, overhead and freight. The cost of the mold alone was 100’s of thousands of dollars. There are Cheaper RV’s out there. Thanks for watching.

People who have these have it figured out. They are not for everyone, keep in mind that these are for those people who can't tow more than 1,000 lbs.

Limited storage because of the weight. These are made to be towed with very small vehicles. If you want storage under the bed, check out the T@G by Nucamp.

Using your mirrors. That's the only way!

What is the tow rating for your ACE? This camper dry weight is just over 600 lbs.

this thing totally sucks! why not just pitch a tent. The TV is totally generic. what if you get caught in the snow? no, heater?
The bears could eat you up! At least you are off the ground, have A/C, TV & Stereo. And a small vehicle can tow it. I know it is not for everyone, but the people who purchase these absolutely Love them....

Back then that was the MSRP. Sale price was in the $8,000 range. They stopped making them a year ago and are set to come back out with them. This time the MSRP will be over $12,000. Heck we just sold a used 2017 a few months ago for more than it sold for new. It's called Supply & Demand. Thanks for watching

For the price of this thing I can stay in luxury motels for at least 10 years of vacations! Then I don't have to worry about towing it, parking with it, and having 2 men stealing it by picking it up and putting it into the back of a truck! Plus at nice motels I will get a nice hot shower and a hot free breakfast and watch TV on a bigger screen! FAIL.

I hope you understand that they don't have "luxury motels" down forest roads, on BLM lands, in state and national parks, or just in the woods generally. Not everyone is looking to spend vacations in a motel. Also, you maintain this unit, and it will have high resale value as its a fiberglass camper.

I was shopping around on amazon and u can buy portable toilets heated camping showers and showering tent. All the supplies cost around 215 bucks.
