- Last week I asked you guys to send in some of your sprites, and you did, so thank you for that.
Here's me animating a Yasuo Sprite (From League of Legends) sent in by Minh:

As I mentioned in the video, Yasuo was one of the first things I animated in pixel art about 6 years ago, and so I thought it would be interesting to see what I could do now in comparison. I think it turned out pretty nice, but I'll let you be the judge of that.

Great Job bro! For me Add new key frames is a process that i have difficulty, because i am too attached to the first sprite to break into more poses xD there's also that most of the time i don't usually do a plan of which movements i want to do so i get caught in tangents
Have you tried to put your style in other perspectives like Top-down and isometric pixel art? would be neat, trying to view from another perspective gives that problem solving of how to make that 2d sprite have more sides, and animating it adds more challenge to it.

Yeah I feel you with the key frames. It can be painful to tear apart that original sprite when you spend ages refining it.
I'm curious about the not having a plan thing though, lol. It's difficult for me to draw any new frame if I don't have vision of what I want to achieve.
I've done a bit of top-down (which I despise) and a fair amount of isometric work, which I think is fun - I might make a video on it in the future!

Hey Bijin, that's certainly something I think could be useful for people. However, I'm not sure I'm the right guy for that 😅 It's a topic I myself would need to learn a little bit more about before I can confidently explain it in a video.

Yes! League of Legends 2 is set for release in around summer 2025, make sure to keep your eye open :)
