Hey Robbie the good news is you shouldn’t have the stupid pain forever but you may have it for a few years if you’re wandering how i know my dad told me that he had it once
I kept some in a polystyrene box once. They litteraly chewed a hole through it overnight. The only trouble was it was inside....hahaha...and probably about 50 yabbies. As you can imagine that was fun. There were yabbies everywhere the next day. Now if I want to keep any I use a plastic 44 gallon drum cut in half . 👍
Hahahaha that's so funny. 🤣🤣🤣 When I traded in my old Jackeroo I gave it a thorough clean, looking under the seats for loose change etc.. I found a dead yabby and a half eaten dim sim amongst all of the usual empty chocolate wrappers and other rubbish. LOL 😂😂
I've kept redclaw crays in fish tanks before. They're escape artists who'll climb up the air line, drop onto the floor and go for a wander around the house, so you need tight fitting lids or to weigh them down with something.
I usually put a little more water in and put some rocks and sticks for them to climb on which helps and breathe and curled up bark for them to hide in. It seems to help stop from eating each other
I've found the newspaper or butchers paper + fridge crisper tends to be a lot easier, until someone opens it up looking for ham or something. At least your back is on the mend and take it easy out there.
Ahh.... Excellent idea. I usually wait until they start digging and then put marbles in the holes. Haha I must try the bottle tops. Thanks for the great idea.
Ive kept yabbies in my tropical fish tank with fish years ago and fed them on frozen peas and carrots but need to take the shell off the peas first. Over time the yabbies turn blue.
I suggest you cart a banana lounge in with you. Then you can sit if thats what you want or lay down which I think is better. There are aluminium ones what not very heavy. Thank God you are getting better.
I had yabbies as pets but unfortunately someone accidentally unplugged the filter cord and they died. And I had a female in it but unfortunately it died aswell
We only use yabs for a feed. We pop most of them into a shell pool for purging and then have a separate couple of buckets for monsters and another for soldiers of war (1 clawed yabs) 🦞❤️

When I lived in Vic I kept mine in a plastic tub with a platform the yabbies could climb on and like you fed them on carrots
I used to put screw top bottle caps in the corners and it worked good
Ahh.... Excellent idea. I usually wait until they start digging and then put marbles in the holes. Haha I must try the bottle tops. Thanks for the great idea.
Great video
Keep em coming

That's so cool, thanks mate. They look awesome when they're blue don't they.
@robbiefishing they sure do.
They are also opportunistic they would catch fish from time to time and eat them
Best channel
Thank you so much. 👍👍
Hey you yes you robbie lol love the intro mate

Hi Robbie I’ve experienced sciatica problems to through shearing and I found dry needling the best fix for it
Hi mate, thanks for the suggestion. 👍👍
Awesome as Robbie
Thanks mate.
Hey Robbie does Brett have TH-cam channel.. have you thought of using the rump steak fat as bait again? Great video
Hi mate, I definitely need to use that as bait again. I'm not sure about Brett sorry. He used to have but I have a feeling he may have deleted it

Tha ks so much Mohammed. Haha The good old Banana lounge from then1980s with the woven plastic material. They were so super comfy.
@@robbiefishing They still are if you still got one like me.
Robbie - I miss Mail Call - hardly ever see one anymore
Also I put short cut of PVC pipe so they can get in to stop the fighting
Excellent idea Jeff. 👍👍
where can I find a pattern for that wire yabby net.
