Jesse and Mike killed people and somehow Skyler and Marie are worse? Is this guy stupid?

I'm not saying you're wrong, but to play devil's advocate, I think it's more about seeing pro and cons and how we psychologically relate to how a character is portrayed. Jesse is a sympathetic character because we know he's got good in him (he authentically loves kids and the women he meets) but he still commits evil, often against what he would do if not pressured. By contrast, Marie and Skyler are given very few pros; they are neutrals who do annoying things, or outright criminal things. A non-malicious person we want to root for despite him doing evil is more compelling than a pair of neutral characters we are never asked to root for who act unsympathetically and do minor bad things.
I think it's also about whether good and evil are considered in terms of actions or something natural or intrinsic. I think people either consciously or unconsciously view Jesse as good by nature and Skyler as neutral or bad by nature; that Jesse commits evil is against his nature and thus tragic and sympathetic, while Skyler committing minor evil or being morally neutral and annoying agrees with her nature. We want Jesse to be good, but that isn't something anyone considers with Skyler. Also, the reception to female characters in this show are notoriously sexist.

Pretty bad idea in my opinion to rank characters of a show that has gone beyond mere good and bad. It is on another dimension clearly.
That's why he's ranking them on a spectrum, there's multiple levels, notice how it's not just two levels that say "good" and "bad"

I heavily disagree with a lot of this. You have some good points, but you are way too lenient with Mike and Jesse, as Jesse can be a selfish moron who puts people in danger constantly and was the catalyst behind Walt and Gus's relationship collapsing. Jesse also enters the meth businesses out of his own will many more times than Walt. He deserves Bad tier. Mike is an absolutely horrible person in Breaking Bad, he is a mass murderer for money and self-interest, didn't give a shit about Gus killing a kid, implied to have tortured people (given how Mike threatens to torture Saul for not giving away Jesse's location), killed Werner Ziegler, and his reasons for providing for his family are just as flimsy as Walt's. He belongs in pretty evil. Same with Walt. Walt is actually capable of remorse, selflessness, and genuine love/care. He becomes increasingly egotistical and selfish, but in S1-4, Walt is pretty morally grey until he poisons Brock. Walt also has understandable reasons for a lot of what he does, and his journey wasn't all about his ego. Walt should not be on the same tier as the Salamancas, Gus, or the Neo Nazis. Lydia also should be at the top as she is entirely selfish and greedy, tried to have innocent kids murdered, and feels zero remorse for her actions. Also how the hell is Don Eladio in pretty evil, he is the embodiment of pure evil just like Hector Salamanca, he is extremely sadistic, remorseless, is the leader of a murderous cartel etc. And you think Walt is worse than Don Eladio lol. Walt is a saint compared to Don Eladio.

I think intent matters. She's definitely better than Chuck.
No way that Walter can be in the same tier as those people. He did bad shit but all of the bad shit he did had at least some semi decent explanation behind it. I'd say the worst thing he ever did was kill Mike but Mike did same bad shit as well, same as killing those inmates which were all criminals who would have eventually ratted on him. And I think he redeemed himself in the end to at least go down a tier. Meanwhile others were shitty until the end. Huell and Kuby should be on morally questionable because they aren't bad people. It's insanely funny to me how Mike is a tier below. All Salamancas should be on evil. You can't tell me that Walter White is worse than someone who killed people for no reason.

I actually agree Jesse being above Marie and Skylar. The show makes it very clear that Jesse has a good and natural heart. There isn't much going towards the way of the other two. Mike though, I do disagree. He has his own twisted sense of justice, and is ultimately a bad person.
