Thanks for the shout out brother, hope those blades slay!
No problem 👍 The blades are gunna smack them!
I really appreciate all the info you share with us. I am a kayak fisherman and mostly ocean, so I am kinda new to the whole river and Salmon fishing. I will always be a part of your channel. You are one of the few who gives great technique and tackle advice.
Thanks again my brother.
Welcome aboard! and thank you so much! Everything that I show I use we bonked a couple Spring Chinook today they are doing work! Good Luck to you and Tight Lines
I found your channel last week and am loving the content! I have also been working to become a guide and am in the process of starting a TH-cam channel to gain community and traction. I am ALSO starting in a 10ft plastic jon boat. Its amazing to see someone take an identical path I am and doing so well!!! You rock man🔥🔥
You got this! Thats awesome! no doubt you can do it easily just takes dedication. thats so cool man the msall boats are some of the best boats! Thanks for watching
If i were running a Barbie rod, I would spool it up with 20lb braid for line capacity and then pray. Maybe a couple ounce in-line sinker, no flasher, and a prawn spinner after a few feet of mono. There are plenty of flashers out there. Maybe one naked would work. This would give you a realistic opportunity given rod length. My 2 cents...
You are not wrong we scratched the Barbie rod idea as soon as it started pouring rain and i made the fatal error of putting bobber stops on the line as a line counter and it screwed my reel all up
Thanks for the lesson!
Thank you for watching!
@@walkingonwaterfishing Any luck down there today?
@@miked5357 unfortunately we had to come home today my whole family got the flu day 1 down there so they lasted all they could with 5 kids and my wife stuck in the hotel it’s a bummer cu. 6000 came over 😂
@@walkingonwaterfishing Sorry to hear about the family. I saw the big number come over the dam last night and thought it might be pretty good this weekend.
@@miked5357 thanks man, oh it definitely will be good! Hope it warms up a little and the bite will be on
saw you out yesterday, i was the only bass boat out there
Bro, that’s sick haha I love being the blacksheep! Did you catch any?
@walkingonwaterfishing no unfortunately, first time salmon fishing that part of the river, usually fish down by longview, went for bass with the little trolling motor batterys we had and caught like 15 lol
@@BadAssBassFishermen the salmon fishing was slow in my opinion. That’s a ton of bass though!
@walkingonwaterfishing I was in drano for like 2 hours doing the toilet bowl and maybe saw 10 hook ups, was pretty slow
@@BadAssBassFishermen good gosh that’s actually insane for the numbers!
Saw you and your kiddo today fishing 🤙
Hey that’s awesome! It was a great day out there. How did you do?
@@walkingonwaterfishing got limits. I was in the white center console boat talking to you this am
