In this video I compare the 4 impact drivers I use at my shop. These include the Ryobi P235, the Milwaukee M12 Fuel Impact, and the Hart HPID01. I also through my very old Ryobi into the mix just for kicks!

Why compare 18 and 20 volt tools with a 12 volt? Sure it shows that the 12 volt M12 can do the same job as the 18 & 20, but why not use the M18 which would be the better comparison
All owned by the same company, TTI
They are all made by the same company (TTI) but clearly they are all not equal..I not only use all Milwaukee power tools I'm from Milwaukee Wisconsin 😂
Milwaukee is def PRO compared to the rest
Same here! just drove past the brookfield HQ
The refurbished is the best. $14. Come on. No contest.
It’s a great deal. I hit a brushless model recently from Direct Tools for $35 and it was new! Crazy.
The m12 is a 12v tool going up against 18v Milwaukee is by far the best 👌 👏 gen 3 will beat all these tools..
It’s gonna be a beast. So m18 is on gen 4 and m12 is gen 3?
@@zacksintheshop yes sir exactly
Just updated my p235 with a M12 Fuel gen 3... The M12 is so small in comparison and drives screws with much more precision.
I really appreciate the lights and the quick insert for bits. As much as I love my ryobi P235, the m12 Fuel is not in the same category.
As others mentioned, why 12v VS 18v? Either way, all drivers shown are made by the same parent company, TTI
I have the M12 fuel Gen 3 with the tri light and it slaps. I drove 8 timberlok in with ease in one session. I don’t think I did need M18 fuel gen 4 impact driver and drill combo kit since my M12 fuel impact driver and drill driver does everything that it needs to do but, it could be a nice option added to my tool box.
Thanks Zack for sharing the information !
Im in the market for a impact drill / drill combo to replace a 12 year old porter cable set that has beat down. Really only thing wrong are the batteries. Really wanted to splurge on a Milwaukee, but I’ve been seeing a lot of horror stories about the new ones not being the quality as the older ones. Also a lot of the brands like Ryobi and even Hart on paper have better specs as far as power. Might just get a new porter cable combo 😢
Dewalt atomic drill/impact are on sale for the holidays for $149. Come with batteries and charger. The specs they put for power don’t always translate to the real world in my opinion. I bet the new m12 fuel set (also on sale) would be good enough for almost any job.
I used my M12 fuel with 8 inch timberloks and the tool did not get all that hot. However ryobi HP brushless is a nice option too. Costs less than the M12 fuel but you’re still getting a significant upgrade.
I have the gen 3 m12 fuel hammer drill and impact set. They perform beautifully and are tough as nails. I dropped my impact 25 feet and it never missed a beat👍🏻
Wish you had measured the sound while the impact hammer was engaged. That’s the loud part where volume matters!
👍👍👍
Thanks for watching Harry.
👍
Not a fair comparison... use M18
Compared what I had.
Hart is a good choice for kids age under 7.
Yea. I think the new ones are much better.
They have to be.
Hart makes good stuff. That extra few seconds isn't gonna kill anybody.
