To a degree, I kinda like that they kept the Astral Plane a bit mysterious. Too many stories seem to want to overexplain all of its mechanics.
Personally I don't see Astral Plane as being mysterious. The mystery has to enhance the meaning of the story like at the end of inception where you don't know if the top stops spinning or not. It serves the meaning of is there a difference between dream and reality, and if there is can you really know for sure. Astral Plane's mysteries are just like is Akira the real Akira or is it a clone. OOHHHHh how deep and thought provoking. Well it would be if the game focus on identity and all the philosophy that went along with that. The game hardly touched on those issues, so personally I see them as cheap ploys to make the game seem deeper than it actually is.

I just finished Astral Chain for the first time last night. It was on my wishlist for awhile, but watching your synopsis over and over pushed me to open that wallet. Even though I had been spoiled on everything going in (I’ve never even watched Evangelion), the gameplay was incredibly fun and I appreciate your recommendation.

I worked so hard to get the most perfect 2B ass footage, alright, you guys don't understand! First off, since I deleted my save file for the Nier Automata video, I had to replay the entire game up until the mission to get 9S to leave so he wouldn't obstruct the view of her ass! Then I had to edit the camera options to give me the most optimal zoom-in on her ass so the camera wouldn't pan too far away to the side or towards the sky. I also had to get 2B wet under a waterfall to get the ass nice and wet cause that's hot and also find the perfect positioning for the lighting to illuminate the ass cheeks! Meanwhile, if you pan the camera too low, she'll actually brush her skirt to the side to stop you from peaking under her skirt, so you have to figure out the most optimal vertical positioning in order to get low enough to stop her from doing that! This isn't even going into the 4-5 hours I spent addressing technical issues with the PC port of the game, which kept constantly breaking when I fused up some of the PC settings! All of that time and effort spent on getting the best 2B ass footage possible! I would have just downloaded someone else's video or something, but all the videos on TH-cam were trash and sub-par to the perfect 2B Booty footage I was able to capture!
