  • With this guide, I will show you how to draw the head using the Loomis Method! Today we're drawing it from the Front Facing Angle, which is probably the easiest one to start off with. This will be a series of videos, as I will cover other angles later on. The Loomis Method is extremely flexible, and you can draw the head from any angle with it - It just takes a lot of practice.

Check out my other videos as well! On my channel, I go over the basics of art, including Drawing from Reference, Symbol Drawing (and why you should unlearn it), and the major fundamentals of art: Perspective, Form, Structure, Figure Drawing, Value, Color Theory, Composition, Brushwork, Line Quality, Line Weight, Line Economy, Gesture, Anatomy, and more. Look forward to more!

You won't believe how helpful this is. I look forward to revisiting this to learn and re-learn stuff from it. You made such a good, poignant point about how most art channels rushing through or putting their content behind paywalls. YOU are so needed right now to an entire artistic and creative community that either is too poor to learn or LOST AS HELL.
Can't thank you enough for what you do.

@@celticmanga Well you're doing a stellar job of it. Because other people have this knowledge and choose not to share it for free which is understandable...but that's just what makes your efforts and your channel as a whole that much more impressive and kind of a Godsend. Because despite knowing that you would NOT be wrong for putting this information behind a paywall as everyone else has, you STILL went ahead and did it. This must have been tedious to make. It must have been hard work. Drawing, explaining, working through the process, then firing up your editing software to edit it all together and put it up here where people will just give it a view, watch it and that's it.
It speaks VOLUMES for your character. I hope that your channel gets many more subs. I hope that people tell you every day that you helped them so much because you DID, and you ARE helping them. But if even if no one tells you, know that it's true and you can trust me when I say that, because I am one of those artists trying to achieve a dream I thought I had left behind only to realize there is no "eventually" it's just when you make your mind up about it. So, to find a channel that helps and walks one through everything, it's diamond in the rough.
      THANK YOU.

@@celticmanga Oh we should be thanking you for the service you provide. Knowledge trumps all and in today's day and age we really need proper instruction.
I'm glad I can be the one to reaffirm the response from the community. I look forward to seeing your channel grow, and I will show up to like and comment to boost the algorithm and help you out however I can. I will share this with anyone that could possibly need it because this is the kind of content I myself needed.
Looking forward to the future of this channel! I wish you the best!

USEFUL VIDEO - many thanks for taking the time to make & post it !
As a fellow Content Creator I understand what it feels like "putting yourself out there" for both PRAISE... and CRITICISM.
    Scary.
Everyone wants to PAY NOTHING but EXPECT EVERYTHING... and they often feel entitled to CRITICIZE if they DON'T get EVERYTHING-for-NOTHING.
    Well done you.
I found VALUE in your video - KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK !
