Beautiful! It's so good to see a tutorial showing warts and all! Well done you for sticking with it, showing how it can be rescued and creating something very lovely! I love the wire work and how you finished it off using beads and a jump ring....very clever! Thank you 💕
Oh Keilan, girl you out do yourself each and every time I see any of your videos 😮 JUST BEAUTIFUL!! I love it so much, you go into such great detail with all of your projects and you explain everything so beautifully. Thank you, you have help me a greatly with my mica shift by telling us that you pop it in the freezer and leach it before slicing, such a great and simple tip but it makes a world of difference. Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks again ❤
Thank you so much Karen 🥰 I'm so happy you find my tutorials helpful and I'd love to see your work too. I don't have a group page, but if you like, please feel free to post your creations on my KeiPfr Facebook page ❤️
Beautiful ! I have made many pieces and taken the time to hand sand and buff just to find tiny holes. Mine were mostly faux stones, not the chopped up clay ones but stacked clay so it really didn’t matter. It is frustrating though. I know exactly what you mean about that top layer on a mica shift needing to be sanded off, it’s like a blur and when using translucent it can be a plasticy waxy kind of feel. I find that any pieces without a surface treatment do better with that microscopic layer sanded off. When we burnish with the paper on the clay and lift the paper there is actually a lift of clay where the paper was stuck to it. You can’t see it or feel it but when you sand and buff it you can see the difference, or at least I can. Thank you for sharing, love your work!
Thanks June 🥰 I know right? It wouldn't matter if I was going to resin it but with sanding and buffing the tiniest of imperfections show. Thank you for watching ❤
