Double Mica Shift & Controlled Mokume - A Polymer Clay Experiment

Hello and thank you for being here! I hope you enjoy this experiment and tutorial.
Colour combinations I used:
1) - 1/2 Cernit Rust Metallic & 1/2 Cernit Transluent
- 1/2 Cernit Pink Gold Metallic & 1/2 Cernit Translucent
2) - 1/4 Sculpey Peacock Pearl, 1/4 Sculpey Bright Green Pearl & 1/2 Cernit Translucent
- 1/2 Sculpey Bright Green Pearl & 1/2 Cernit Translucent
3) - 1/2 Cernit Turquoise Gold Metallic & 1/2 Cernit Translucent
- 1/2 Cernit Green Gold Metallic & 1/2 Cernit Translucent
Tools:
- Pasta Machine
- Flexible Tissue Blade
- Rubbing Alcohol
- Stamp (I used share.temu.com/UC5Wcr6V11A)

Hi there! Been claying since around 1990 or so. This immediately reminded me of Mike Buesseler's techniques of working mica shift. He was quite an artist with the clay...have you ever heard of him? Btw, thanks for the tute, i appreciate all the work that goes into making one 👍🫶✌️😊

Hi back and thank you 🥰 I played with Fimo when I was a kid back in the 80’s but didn’t touch it again until 2022. Yes, I watched Mike’s video on IPCA channel, Heidi McCullough introduced me to it after I saw Donna’s tutorial on the snails. It was very inspiring. Thank you 🥰 Lol, i don't think your phone is off. The colours are playing - the turquoise gold does lean a bit towards grey, and the green gold on top does look more yellow from a distance.
