That combo is so freaking nice...its my favorite of all time. But I also run a Daiwa DXI Inshore 6"6 Rod with a Daiwa Ballistic Magsealed spinner! And that combo is a DREAM to fish too!!! Bout to get a Steez though. THe new Steez A TW...

Hey man does this rod have the "regular" taper? I was going to buy a Steez XT MH fast for senkos and other soft plastics, but it's not in stock anywhere. I'm considering the 7 ft. medium regular rod but I'm not too sure about the regular taper because I've only used medium fast rods in the past. Do you think this rod has enough backbone for weightless senkos on a 3/0-4/0 hook?

I personally, would not use this rod for that. It's a great moving bait rod for sure. I would not get it for single hooks. The Tatula Elite AGS line has a M/MH rod. Check it out.

Thanks dude appreciate the response. I went ahead and ordered it anyways. It's one of the XT rods with the "regular" taper, so I wonder if it's little more stiff than the Flex Lite series? Either was I think it's gonna be a really nice rod, I'm sure I'll find a use for it lol.

I'm not sure if the tapers are the same but, using braid can help with the hookset.

I can do a review on it. The weather is actually going to be above freezing so, I can get my Conquest on the water review video done. I'm using a Steez SV TW on it as well so, I will make a different video on the Steez as well. Be sure to subcribe so you get notified. Thanks for watching

On the steez sv tw are you supposed to touch the cast- control knob?, and what are the knobs on the side?

You can turn it. It is made to be harder to turn so it can stay preset from the factory. I loosened mine until there was just a little side to side with with spool. That is how I set all of my SV spooled reels.

The cast control knob is on the handle side. It's where they normally are.
