I’ve got 2 kills with this head this year. Pros: flys great, for me anyway, great entrance and exit hole, crazy blood trail.
Cons: blades bent on both kills to the point they couldn’t be reused. But that’s probably to be expected. Pretty much a one and done head.
They seem like they’d do the job 100% I’m still curious if one of the blades was slipping out before impact on them shot but the cut on contact on the second hit was flush and it still flew right... very interesting ahaha
They sell replacement blades?
Just replace the blades
That’s why you buy replacement blades 99% of heads are one shot and done
I absolutely love that broadhead. And those blades were factory sharp. I did video the bloodtrail and it was crazy, but footage was extremely shaky. Actually had large pieces of lung and heart not 5 yds from point of impact. Broadhead is back in my quiver now, with the same collar. I just touched up the blades.
Then they do come factory sharp I was impressed I was waiting to hear if you sharpened em or not ahahha

I feel that is literally a vxr with an inch shorter ata, with slightly longer riser.. doesn’t grab my eyes but I will shoot one

Thats a wicked wound channel. I would think the blood trail should be crazy, but the blades worry me with opening all the time.
I don’t think blade deployment would be a problem in a whitetail but I’ll never know I can’t shoot these heads in my state ahaha
I have had two blood trails from them and stevie wonder could follow them!

I've also heard others say the mega meats don't fly as good as the dead meat. I don't care for any broadheads that use collars but that's just me. Thanks for the test.

A touch left of the block, idk why it kept flying right for me, checked it to a field point off camera field point flew perfect where I aimed
Should put some thin buckskin on the front of the gel to allow the blades to fully open.

Normally a gold tip hunter 340 or 300 with factory insert. Mostly the black
Ones. This year I have some camo ones which are heavier. Also this year I bought a couple black eagle rampage with their 50 something grain insert. Shoot a Z7 or Vertix
Another option with that cut would be one of the grim reapers
The whitetail special is what you’re referring to and in my eyes is still a better Broadhead, sharper, fly true & are legal everywhere we have tested them already both afield & in the gel, both videos are on the channel if you haven’t seen em yet you’d enjoy them!
would they work for bowfishing? large body fish?
They make bow fishing heads designed for bow fishing idk if I would use a head designed for whitetail for that application
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA yes true but often on heavy body fish they rip back out and some times the fishermen, shoot several arrows into the same fish to prevent lose.....would it be better to have better hook capable broad head?
I have seen that happen personally bow fishing but idk if I would go as far as to use these as the answer, I’m not gonna stop you from trying it though
Too much for a fish: too much kinetic energy. You will overpenetrate. If you are hunting sharks yes. Why don't you try wasp sharpshooter? It's cheaper too.

Good video man but I don't understand what the big deal is about it being Barbed or hook or whatever you're using these to harvest a deer David Goldin it does the job what difference does it make if you shoot a deer with one of them and it runs off and it's in the deer it's probably not going to make it anyways
Actually if the deer can shed the arrow the chance of recovery is tremendously higher since the wound can close unlike with a barbed head not allowing the deer to shed it leading to infection
Like I said in the video, everyone has their views and none are wrong just in my eyes having tested all the heads we have thus far I see no reason why I’d ever want to shoot the barbed over the non barbed version the cut, penetration etc will be the same

I see no difference in shooting a non barbed head plenty that are lights out and many that perform better than this head
