Please clarify: Besan 3 tsp or tbsp? It looked like a tsp.. "Chai ka chammach" rather than "Soup ka chammach."
Or, it might suffice to say enough besan to bind the crushed peas and onion mixture.
Why do I ask?
The difference between Tsp and TbSp is roughly 3 times by weight or volume.

1 TbSp (US)= 3 times TSps (US, UK, CANADA) = 15 ml
1 TbSp (AUSTRALIA) = 20 ml
In grams,
1 TSp (US)= 4.26 gms
1 TbSp (US) = 12.78 gm
