Kinda smart, to put the guy, who tells wood apart by purely looking at the grain, on the job, where you have to match the grain to get the best looking end product possible.
Ian is usually a pretty casual, low key guy. Looks can be deceiving.
Every now and then we get a glimpse of why he is one of the founders of Wyrmwood. The fact he could visualise that banding right in the design meeting, and executed it with such mastery is a testament to the craftsmanship Wyrmwood is built on

Dang, so many craftspersons involved, so many steps involved in making the tables. If people complain about the cost of the prophecy, point them to this video.

A quick win for customization may be to allow customers to bring custom shield designs. It would be a quick laser job and could really bring some additional flare to the tables.
Like others have said, as a hobby woodworker I love these types of episodes! I feel like I learn something every time you all release one. The other style of videos are good, but having one of these thrown in occasionally is great. Don't be a looza!

I am liking the look of this table and it got me thinking... What about making a "Necromancer" table or product where the product is made from damaged production pieces or sections of table that have been returned due to damage, etc. Make it a once a year limited item

For the Diceapalooza pins I like black outline on the middle one the best, it's the most readable, especially on video.
If you’re having some problems with sanding dust bleeding colors then try applying a coat of 1 or 2 pound shellac to the veneer logos before sanding, it helps for me with the problem.
A prophecy/mgt pool table with reversable topper blocks and a magnetic rail is what the world really need. If we deserve one is up to Wyrmwood

Oh btw. I'm an European and as we have quite small apartments, our current gaming table is a round 4-person table(115cm/46inch) that can be extended to a 6 person table. We cram 9 people around it atm... The Hexagonal table would be pretty awesome if one could extend the sides to make it an oval shape when needed!

Loving the in depth crafting
I like the focus on different artisans and their different expertise and talent.
So good. I was starting to tune out when episodes felt random and disjointed. Having the two “story lines” dice and prophecy make it’s much more fun to follow

The colorway of rogue is beautiful. I think this grand undertaking was destined for greatness. I am already interested but after seeing the work so far, I'm convinced it will be a mo' flippin' BANGER!!!!!
I imagine this kind of video wasn't feasible on the daily schedule, absolutely love to see it! Really substantial, all in one go, great detailed look at the work that goes in, brilliant!
This series is really showing why the Prophecy tables cost what they do. Work like this doesn't come cheap.
Nice throwback to actually focus on craftsmanship again for once (even if it is kind of mass production focused). Also the diceapalooza branding is just 70s nonesense put into a blender set to high.
Diceapalooza branding is like a Peanut M&M dispenser in the entryway of a bowling alley in Minot, ND that you're pretty sure hasn't been touched in 40 years but those M&M's sure look tasty every time you go.

Got my moduler table in maple, but after seeing how nice the paduk looks makes me kind of wish I went with my gut and got that.

The prototype shields 29:15 look like custom class table coasters.
Is it bad that for the money I'd rather have a custom MGT? The lift mechanism and curves are neat, but if I was a billionaire I'd rather have a lighter rectangular table that works with the modular system better. Give me MGT with CAP and veneer matched toppers and holy shit that would be sick
