THANKU SO MUCH 4 UPLOADING THIS - I REMEMBER RECORDING THIS AROUND 89' BUT THE PICTURE WAS SNOWY BUT WATCHABLE - AS AN ARTIST & FILM MAKER I WOULD WATCH THIS OVER & OVER BECAUSE OF THE INTERESTING CONTENT - HOW CLIVE MADE THE 'FORBIDDEN' ON A STUDENT GRANT! MY FAV COMMENT WAS ABOUT - CHILDREN IN THE PLAYGROUND; HOW CREATIVE THEY ARE & THEN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM PREPARES THEM 4 WORK etc. Amazing Artist & brilliant visionary!
Totalmente de acuerdo contigo. Clive es no solo un gran escritor y visionario, sino un artista en toda la amplitud de la palabra. Buen video, ¡Thanks JamesBurrTV!
They're from the 80s movie "Nightbreed" which was based on Barker's novel, "Cabal." Not a great film (although the book is great) but it's notable as it has David Cronenburg in an acting role.
I couldn't agree more ^^. I read BooK of Blood I, II, III really true imagination and gruesome horror, which i really like..He defines the horror of victim and the perp in such detail (which attracted me to Clive)..So much that his words in his books cannot be define in movies(unless you have a narrorator, who would want that)...
When he was younger he really looked clean cut, and had a somewhat distinguished manner. As he's aged it's there but apparently ill health has taken that clean cut look away a fair bit. I always thought that it was funny when some straight people were shocked that someone who made such graphic horror was gay. Certainly not a fluffy, wand waving, 'fairy'.
Yeah, it's not a competition. And King on the whole has a better body of work. But "The Books of Blood" and "The Hellbound Heart" are better than anything King has ever done. Clive was really in the zone when he wrote those.
OK what gies? I was born in Liverpool in 1959 and I now live in the USA too. I have a mild scouse accent. Why does Barker sound like he is a Russian? very puzzling...
its wonderful to see such old videos of him...as i dont have a chance ever to see him live...:(
Wow man, I haven't seen this for 15 years. Thanks for posting!!
thanks--i have been searching for this one for ages--saw this on the sci fi channel in the 90's.....

Clive Barker is my hero. He's so inspirational.
The parents I Love. They're like "what happened" but all the love to their boy❤❤❤
Great upload, thanks:)
I like King and Barker, its not sport competition...
@FractalBolt I read somewhere that he had had some polys or something like that on his vocal cords that were removed, which can damage them
His artwork is very beautiful... reminds me of HR Giger
Interesing play. The mural adds a creepy depth to the scene.
God damn it, what happened to him now? His voice is way too raspy now.
