One question. Towards the 1h 15m mark When Edward put to auction the yellow company, if instead he auctioned the black one there would have been 3 companies sold out and 2 actions on the red, so immediate DIVIDENDS! And endgame. He would have won with the most money. Or Did I not understand the rules right?
Even the designer of Irish Gauge will tell you that Chicago Express is the better game. Both are solid though and you probably want to play both of them (or watch a playthrough) to see which one you personally prefer.
@@Heavycardboard I mean with certain player counts I think it might be crucial as a way to manipulate the turn order (in terms of when the dividend phase happens in comparison to a players turn) but not sure about how useful the direct benefit is.
Much prefer some art on a board rather than the boring age of steam maps. Not sure why so many people like those. I get that they are functional, but still.
Nicely done these winsomes are definitely my favorite streams to watch with players remote!
Awsome game.
Thanks!

Dammit! That’s really clever. Wish I’d seen that!😂😩👍🏼

Bought this game because I have heard it described as a masterpiece by many.
What is your opinion on the develop action?
I feel like there is strategy to it that I’m not yet seeing. But I think it’s a me not seeing it vs a not really worth it kinda thing.

@@tylerbrown9797 this is exactly it. It's mostly used to control the pacing of the game. Getting a little extra income is a bonus.

Agree. Steam: Rails To Riches maps are also more evocative while still functional.
There is only one Train Game - 18OE :) This looks like a mix of „union pacific“ and 18xx for dummies :)
