I was so disappointed when I found out that Malius couldn't fuse 2 broken swords into a powerful weapon... That [[Little Sponge]] Spamton has decieved all of us!!!
I wouldn't be surprised if toby added multiple hidden secret broken items that can make the strongest weapon or armor

Probably these items will be useful for fix or fusion with others in the next chapters.
Now thinking, these are the only items who Spamton had, including the bow tie, a broken sword (for defense) the keygen...but...poison? Why had a poison bottle? Maybe we appeared...just in time, you know.
Honeslty frayed bowtie is nice item. It's like Jevilstail but weaker.
Frayed bowtie allow you deal more damage
The potionis basically drugs
toby just added that perk for if you somehow managed to equip it
or you can equip it in the next chapters to make something specific easier (like using the spider cider and donut from undertale to skip muffet )

Idea: so, you can’t sell the thorn ring to Swatch, Sweet Cap’n Cakes, or Seam, but can you sell it to Rouxls if you hack it into chapter 1?
No, the thorn ring doesn't exist in chapter 1. The two chapters are separate instances, so you cant bring chapter 2 enemies or items to chapter 2 or vice versa
I think a few too many people don't realize- the difference between chapter 1 and 2 is huge. They're basically separate games, and most the stuff in 2 doesn't carry into 1.

also i think i remember reading ch1 and 2 are treated as seperate games so even if there was a teleport it would probably crash due to the field being in a seperate "game"

I was hoping that you could get a semi-powerful weapon, since it says “It’s in 2 pieces” so it would make sense that you could fix it with 2, maybe something called “Double edged sword” where you deal a lot of damage but deal 10% of that to you as well, i think Toby should have you be able to fix it in the next chapters
So, we know the swords in the Dark World are basically pencils, right?
What if, we just need to sharpen the "Broken Sword" in order for it to regain its use?

Also, the broken sword doesn't have a light world counterpart.
Basically, that's not possible. All your weapons will be gone and you will be switched back to SpookySword. It's really sad that it does that but the developer couldn't make that much pencils.
I genuinely get the feeling that sword will be needed to craft the ultimate sword in a later chapter or something

In the Snowgrave route, at the ‘falling maus puzzle’, the doorway for the mice is open and there’s the same glitter that is used for an item (e.g. the glowshard in chapter one). Is there any dialogue if you inspect it?

Well, the broken sword may be a total scam, but I found the frayed bowtie to be pretty good! It raises your attack by 1, so I equipped Kris with two of those for the Spamton NEO battle (Yes I wanted the scarf) which is pretty ironic now that I think about it
It also gives +1 Magic so Ralsei gets pretty strong healing
It raises your CAT/PUPPET defense
The broken sword is probably just a broken pencil, and the reason it isn’t usable is because it’s the eraser side

The address for your name variable is only so many bytes long. The name would start to overwrite the data past that address, causing either an invalid opcode to crash it, or data corruption of the worst kind.

No you can't, I've seen videos with people giving themselves infinite health and they still die to the dog

TwistedSword. An Item obtainable by modifying the Save File to either directly get the Sword or by getting ThornRing and PureCrystal and Fusing them. Its a Sword with ridiculously high Attack (+16) but has no special features
