@@motster33 I keep the windows off(except for TC) and keep garage doors open if the raid is online .. The strength of the base is the ability to defend itself. So make sure you let the base help you defend the raid. Also the external TCs are ESSENTIAL! Even if the blow straight to TC they wont have build priv, so they cant take control of the base .I put all the windows and shutters on when i log off in case of an offline raid. I also do a variant of the auxiliary bedrooms by making them all 3 entrances and having 3 bedrooms on top of the entrances. Same as shown at 17:07. It doesnt take any strength away from the base and it adds 3 ways to spawn inside and move outside freely to help counter online raids. Its also funnels the raiders into raiding through an entrance from the bottom up which is the strongest part of the base and most favorable for defending the raid.

I used the large furnaces from the yard of a raided base like this to build my base in a rock on US West FP1! My shitty rock base is still not raided and wipe is tomorrow...(script kiddies don't count)

This guy in my group who has like 4k hours has told me over and over: "NO TH-cam bases." I quietly built this in a duo on a vanilla server and last night we got doorcamped for an hour by the most loaded group on our server. 'No TH-cam Base' guy logged on to help us defend and said he loved it, and he's building it next wipe 😂 A few hours later we were offlined by the same group. They used all of their C4 and rockets and still only got two loot rooms and didn't touch our TC. One of our guys logged in halfway through and managed to defend what was left by himself. We saw them later saying it was aids to raid us. I added a shooting floor and on a whim I added chainlink gates in front of the loot chutes. I want to test it with prison cell gates too. I really would love to wire the exterior turret doors to open remotely with an RF receiver. You can fit one shotgun trap next to each loot chute turret if you place it carefully, and another underneath the turret as well. Our traps killed them over and over 😊 we've had a lot of fun with this base, thanks so much for sharing it.
Something I wish more builders did was make another view with a player recording the building from above. It's easy to get lost inside of a base while watching the build
Genuinely the only base builder I like watching. You think out the bases properly, explain them properly, and they're always a bugger to raid. I get bored of base designs quickly, because I'm weird; so keep pumping them out!
I LOVE YOUR DESIGN. It's so perfect. Every other build people make puts all the loot in one area. No matter what side they come from, this build requires them to practically blow up the entire base to get the good loot rooms. MODIFICATION: I replaced all the walls of the core on the second floor with half walls on top and low walls on bottom. By doing this, the inner wall of the core remains just as strong when trying to enter from the side, since one cannot enter through a low wall opening. However, I was able to put a locker, a repair bench, a lvl 3 bench, and 10 furnaces in that unused honeycomb space. This left the core around the triangle wall core EMPTY. I had so much room left over after changing this that I might even condense the build down to just one loot room as a solo player. On top of getting more space, it turned each area into more unlootable rooms (no real loot is on the second floor anyways). But having dealt with trying to get unlootbales without building priv, I knew that adding in a fake loot room into one of those with a note in each to drop a bag when killed would make the raiders spend 16 more rockets for nothing. MY EXPERIENCE: I used this design on a 5x server where I even made the place have 4 stories (basically two of these builds stacked on top of one another (so 6 loot rooms total) with a layer of armored half walls in-between with - D O U B L E - armored honey comb surrounding the outside. The upkeep was a nutty 25k HQM a day. I talked to my raiders after they finished the raid and even though they used over 160 rockets, they were unable to both get building privilege (because of outside TCs) as well as not even toughing 3/6 loot rooms. The raid took 3 raiders about an hour and 15 mins (online) and they left because they didn't think it was worth going further. They didn't even get my good loot on the top part of the base. This was probably because everyone thinks the loot is at the bottom. 10/10 I will use this build every singe time. TIP: Just an added tip for anyone wanting to do this build with an additional high external compound. Put your large furnace base, heli tower or anything like that ON the side of the TC. This makes the TC very close to the center of the compound. This is important because 9/10 times the raiders are going to breach the base on the side of the compound where the high external walls are closest to the base (the edge of the compound). This means the TC will be placed on the opposite side that they will likely enter at, and good golly would that be expensive to get to horizontally. Anyways, thanks @Evil Wurst. This is pure gold.
Campfires could be used for additional storage in the lootrooms (between the front small chests). Maybe even some lamps for low grade storage. Every bit counts ;-)
All of Evil Wurst's designs are excellent, but this one is simply incredible. It's the first base that got me through a whole wipe without being raided and losing it all. Even the wipes where I was raided, it cost the raiders dozens of rocket's worth and they got virtually zero loot out of it. I'm being fully honest when I say that the only flaw in his masterwork design is its popularity, but even then he has meticulously crafted out the details of the base to mitigate the absurd disadvantage of raiders knowing the full layout. In his own Rusty way, Evil Wurst is an artist.
I love the design but I think that the center tc auto turret should be accessible since everyone in the base would have to be on for the base to be built to authorize on it. Love the vid! Keep it up!
You always build the most effective tactic available. I'm more of a builder and trying to incorporate traps for self-defense and you've just blown my freaking mind. You have made me break a cardinal rule.. To remain original.. Time to carbon copy this masterpiece and learn a thing or two!
Hello Evil Wurst. I used this base design on an PH 2x server. During the 5th day GMT+8 at 8pm i was getting raided but i managed to get online just when they blasted 1 loot room, but fortunately the loot went further away from them. It took them 40 mins to raid just to get nothing. I was a solo when they raided me but a friendly player helped me in giving info but didn't Ingage in pvp with them. Eventually they left with nothing but their Kits and explosives they brought (except 2 stacks of explo ammo, an M2, an LR, 4 c4's and 2 rockets). Thank you very much for sharing this base because without it, i would've lost 2 large boxes worth of Components and 1 large box of Guns
No ideia if this will come as a complimment, but it's the intention. I never played rust, and been developing a taste for it from youtube videos. Is it weird one of the youtubers that satisfies me the most to watch the videos is you? Since you just build bases, but i find them so well designed it's a pleasure to watch. Keep up the good work!
Honestly no lie i got tired cause of the voice mr.MPR radio haha but this base design is so freaking amazing im jealous and im definetly going to try building it and i will see if i can find any possible way to make it just a tiny bit better even though i doubt its possible.
Phenomenal. I play on a 5x modded server due to lack of time to play. Someone tried raiding me after i had built it all so hadnt really farmed anything aside from the building stuff. They didnt find the TC, and it seems like they either gave up or just ran out of explosives. They definitely wasted a load of resources and time for no gains and it only took me 10 mins to rebuild the 6 or so doors they blew haha. My go to base for definite.

V3 Time baby with electrics like maybe a room to control outer auto turret placements like where the Tcs are have a triangle with a garage door facing the base with auto turrets to make a death zone for anyone outside

Good build my dude. Just keep in mind everyone, expensive upkeep, only do this full build if you're planning on staying in the same server for some time. Also flame throwers in the front airlock around the blind side would be effective as a surprise. Also electric lines to the doors that hold your turrets would be good, one button opens all outter attack doors, bam, unleash furry while sipping tea by the fire.
If anyone is wondering, you don't need repair bench for the glass windows. Just smack it with a hammer with frags in your inventory. Costs about 15-25 frags each time you pull the window off.
I get the message “this item can’t be repaired” when I try to use reinforced glass on a repair bench. I made an extra one and just rotate them out making sure I don’t take a half health one off to brick it.
dude i have no friends so i cant use this efficiently, but holy shit the amount of time and energy put into this is stunning. Fuck real architecture, rust design is honestly where it's at.
I mostly play solo so I would never really use a base of this size/complexity. I do enjoy watching these videos, however. The amount of thought and time you put into your base builds to maximize protection and efficiency is impressive. Keep it up man :)
You don't need to repair reinforced windows with frags, just throw the half health window on the floor and throw a full health window on-top of it. It might take a few tries but they will eventually stack as 2 full health windows and you can place them back.
I built this on a 5x server solo- worked like a charm. The stealth style of TC placement kept the raiders guessing enough that I survived an entire offline raid. Absolutely wonderful build for Vanilla too if it worked this well on a 5x.
Unlootable is kind of a misnomer what it really means is pain in the ass to loot and the layout of the loot room adds cost to the raid. They could also c4 through the window frame to get it but that adds cost and time two very important factors when raiding someone
Just built this base. Took me and my duo two days to build on vanilla server. Ended up getting raided just after finished building. The clan used over 700 explosive ammo and got into 1 of the loot rooms. They broke straight through honeycomb. In the 4 chests I had 2 sets of wood armor HAHAHA great base. They asked me after the raid if I had moved the loot or if they went in through wrong side. Definitely a great design. Kind of a bitch to upkeep on vanilla with 2-3 people. If ur a clan of 5 this base would be perfect
I would strongly recommend upgrading outer loot room and TC room walls to armoured. If you don’t have external TCs correctly set up, 19 rockets to TC and base control is very light. Adding another 8 to that number would be good, and increase overall raiding cost by at least 24 rockets.
I would heavily recommend to everyone building this to change the entrance and roof area, as those are the big giwaways that its exactly this build! It's not a very common, but a common footprint and you prevent people knowing which design you've used if you change those 2 areas
After using this base for several wipes on several different servers i would always half wall double triangle down and armor it literally every single time they go straight from the top.We dont plan on stop using this build anytime soon but from what we found we thought we would share it
For anyone looking for a "review" of this base: It's awesome. I got raided twice, once they made it 1/2 way through my base, and donated me gear via the shotgun traps (they didn't get any valuable loot). The other time they went through the roof, and blew into my 3 center main loot rooms. They got my 1600 HQM, my half box of exp 5.56, and my guns... It did cost them 30k+ sulfer though, so I wasn't cheap. I'm going to rebuild with an additional 1/2 ceiling homecoming, and turn a few more walls to HQM.
ive been using this design as my basis for my base since you first introduced it. Been raided successfully once, by that i mean they got main loot (resources/2 chests of aks and lik 6 m249s lol)they never got all the loot and couldnt grief me. Ive had at least 9 or more failed raid attempts on this, and I like that you added in the square outer airlock, we have used that for pretty intense anti door camping :D for a while now.
Got raided in this base today, unfortunately, they managed to get all loot and TC access. While they did get everything, it does my heart good knowing that they burned through ~30 C4 and many rockets to get to something that was hardly worth the trouble. Excellent build as always Evil Wurst.
You da man wurst, definitely building this next forced wipe love the first one I did the turrets above loot rooms on original and as it happens did a failed raid against first one this wipe also I add insult to injury by placing valuable items in a stash all that boom and no high loot. I find the best part is the turret garage door technique stroke of genius
@@EvilWurst I love this base the more I use it. I've been offline raided at minimum 6 times now, and every time, the raiders have given up because they can't find the TC. This base definitely deserves the title Frustrator V2!
You can actually bunker each loot room. The same way you bunkered the roof. Only youd would need to put half walls as well then place two roofs instead of one. This stops raiders from being able to jump into the drop downs without raiding the 2 metal roofs. You can destroy the twig from underneath if you place a bag in the loot room.
and by that I mean only that looking into the subject will take you to realms completely outside of the happiness and satisfaction of videogames, into the very fabric of existence lol
Don't know if you still read these but I built this on console was offlined 3 times all they got were drop boxes no one made it in the loot rooms love all your builds can't wait to try another
I Maid this base. Its insane. I would feel sorry for my self, if i had to raid this. But the Roof closing desing on the top. Dosent work anymore :) Keep up the good work man! Insane bases!
If I just got a dollar for every time that someone says "it does not work anymore" ... usually, it means, that something is in the way, and it just does not work in your case, but people usually manage to fix it. Just try to scout for every object that might be in the way or too close
If you put an angled roof over your airlock, you can put angled shotgun traps that cannot be blown up with splash damage. you can also make it so they cannot go through the airlock by placing your foundation at the end of a hill, to force people who do break your doors to crouch to enter the first door frame. this prevents people from being able to sprint past the shotgun traps.
Raided 4 times so far this wipe. Every time raiders only got in to some minor compartments. Gave up and left. Eventually the group that kept trying to raid us messed up one too many times. Blew themselves up and left us lots of kits. Very frustrating base to attack.
In terms of finding the tc, all they have to do is hold a hammer and walk around the outskirts of the build zone. Which ever spot makes you go further away is the side the tc is on.
That used to be possible before the introduction of Building 3.0 in late 2017. Since 2 years ago, every building block of the base radiates building privilege, which means it does not matter where the TC is located. A base's building privilege will always cover the same area

V3 Time baby with electrics like maybe a room to control outer auto turret placements like where the Tcs are have a triangle with a garage door facing the base with auto turrets to make a death zone for anyone outside
Hey wurst just wanted to say awesome base, Ive used this base over most of my wipes and defended countless raids from it, offline and online, and the most people I had in it at once was like 11, it was cramped but with modifications it still worked, great base

Good build my dude. Just keep in mind everyone, expensive upkeep, only do this full build if you're planning on staying in the same server for some time. Also flame throwers in the front airlock around the blind side would be effective as a surprise. Also electric lines to the doors that hold your turrets would be good, one button opens all outter attack doors, bam, unleash furry while sipping tea by the fire.

This is an excellent design that utilises compartmentalised spaces and defensible areas and angles really well. Well done! 😁
If anyone is wondering, you don't need repair bench for the glass windows. Just smack it with a hammer with frags in your inventory. Costs about 15-25 frags each time you pull the window off.
The hamner wouldn't reach the window after placing
I get the message “this item can’t be repaired” when I try to use reinforced glass on a repair bench. I made an extra one and just rotate them out making sure I don’t take a half health one off to brick it.

I mostly play solo so I would never really use a base of this size/complexity. I do enjoy watching these videos, however. The amount of thought and time you put into your base builds to maximize protection and efficiency is impressive. Keep it up man :)

Very nice design! the original frustator was a feared base for a lot of wipes! many clans avoided raiding only based on the design.
You don't need to repair reinforced windows with frags, just throw the half health window on the floor and throw a full health window on-top of it. It might take a few tries but they will eventually stack as 2 full health windows and you can place them back.

I built this on a 5x server solo- worked like a charm. The stealth style of TC placement kept the raiders guessing enough that I survived an entire offline raid. Absolutely wonderful build for Vanilla too if it worked this well on a 5x.
Wow, I would not have expected that! On 5x servers, the amounts of explosives people bring can be crazy!

Unlootable is kind of a misnomer what it really means is pain in the ass to loot and the layout of the loot room adds cost to the raid. They could also c4 through the window frame to get it but that adds cost and time two very important factors when raiding someone

Just built this base. Took me and my duo two days to build on vanilla server. Ended up getting raided just after finished building. The clan used over 700 explosive ammo and got into 1 of the loot rooms. They broke straight through honeycomb. In the 4 chests I had 2 sets of wood armor HAHAHA great base. They asked me after the raid if I had moved the loot or if they went in through wrong side. Definitely a great design. Kind of a bitch to upkeep on vanilla with 2-3 people. If ur a clan of 5 this base would be perfect

Button to lock down all the base. More turrets in the external tc, battery spot and a solar panel site
I would strongly recommend upgrading outer loot room and TC room walls to armoured. If you don’t have external TCs correctly set up, 19 rockets to TC and base control is very light. Adding another 8 to that number would be good, and increase overall raiding cost by at least 24 rockets.
It would basically unraidable when walled off with barbed wire spikes and turrets

I would heavily recommend to everyone building this to change the entrance and roof area, as those are the big giwaways that its exactly this build! It's not a very common, but a common footprint and you prevent people knowing which design you've used if you change those 2 areas

After using this base for several wipes on several different servers i would always half wall double triangle down and armor it literally every single time they go straight from the top.We dont plan on stop using this build anytime soon but from what we found we thought we would share it
theres a glitch atm that allows you to loot unlootable lootrooms, hopefully it gets patched soon
No, it's good that there are counters to those loot rooms
Anyway, in this design, the external TCs are the counter counters :)
For anyone looking for a "review" of this base: It's awesome. I got raided twice, once they made it 1/2 way through my base, and donated me gear via the shotgun traps (they didn't get any valuable loot). The other time they went through the roof, and blew into my 3 center main loot rooms. They got my 1600 HQM, my half box of exp 5.56, and my guns... It did cost them 30k+ sulfer though, so I wasn't cheap. I'm going to rebuild with an additional 1/2 ceiling homecoming, and turn a few more walls to HQM.
ive been using this design as my basis for my base since you first introduced it. Been raided successfully once, by that i mean they got main loot (resources/2 chests of aks and lik 6 m249s lol)they never got all the loot and couldnt grief me. Ive had at least 9 or more failed raid attempts on this, and I like that you added in the square outer airlock, we have used that for pretty intense anti door camping :D for a while now.
Now with electricity you could add even more insidious traps. Now this is EPIC!
Got raided in this base today, unfortunately, they managed to get all loot and TC access. While they did get everything, it does my heart good knowing that they burned through ~30 C4 and many rockets to get to something that was hardly worth the trouble. Excellent build as always Evil Wurst.
Sorry to hear that you got raided. The ideal raid would have been about 45 rockets -- seems they spent a lot more sulfur than that!

You da man wurst, definitely building this next forced wipe love the first one I did the turrets above loot rooms on original and as it happens did a failed raid against first one this wipe also I add insult to injury by placing valuable items in a stash all that boom and no high loot. I find the best part is the turret garage door technique stroke of genius

@@EvilWurst I love this base the more I use it. I've been offline raided at minimum 6 times now, and every time, the raiders have given up because they can't find the TC. This base definitely deserves the title Frustrator V2!

You can actually bunker each loot room. The same way you bunkered the roof. Only youd would need to put half walls as well then place two roofs instead of one. This stops raiders from being able to jump into the drop downs without raiding the 2 metal roofs. You can destroy the twig from underneath if you place a bag in the loot room.

usually, it means, that something is in the way, and it just does not work in your case, but people usually manage to fix it. Just try to scout for every object that might be in the way or too close

If you put an angled roof over your airlock, you can put angled shotgun traps that cannot be blown up with splash damage. you can also make it so they cannot go through the airlock by placing your foundation at the end of a hill, to force people who do break your doors to crouch to enter the first door frame. this prevents people from being able to sprint past the shotgun traps.

Raided 4 times so far this wipe. Every time raiders only got in to some minor compartments. Gave up and left.
Eventually the group that kept trying to raid us messed up one too many times. Blew themselves up and left us lots of kits.
Very frustrating base to attack.
In terms of finding the tc, all they have to do is hold a hammer and walk around the outskirts of the build zone. Which ever spot makes you go further away is the side the tc is on.
That used to be possible before the introduction of Building 3.0 in late 2017. Since 2 years ago, every building block of the base radiates building privilege, which means it does not matter where the TC is located. A base's building privilege will always cover the same area

To improve the blast from the top (rockets) use half walls between the main triangels to split the rocket splash.
