Takk!!!! Your videos helped me greatly! I have used my flexshaft for a few days a week now over a year. I had no clue that the button was wearing this incredibly deep groove into the spindle. Today I found out when I had a bit stuck and the button slipped. I have a proxxon flexshaft that has no button, I see why now. I just removed the dremel flexshaft button and spring and use a skinny tool to change bits like the proxxon now. Wouldn't have been able to disassemble it without you!
Thank you very much for this very informative and really helpful video, I managed to break the inner shaft and this video was invaluable in getting the old shaft out as it broke inside the cable, and the then I was able to replace it. Thank you again Sam Ps I have been subscribed for a good while 👍👏
Thank you for this video. I never knew that the nose cap was removable. Are you able to screw other accessories on there such as the Rotary Shield or Cutting Guide?
Yeah. It is supposed to be loose inside the tube. It will stay in place when you connect it to the Dremel. It is a little bit annoying when you don't have it attached though.
Do you know if there is a replacement part for the white circle "stabilizer" mine don't have it since new and it was a pain using it because it shakes like crazy, can't find any replacement part, it's not even un the disassemble manual.
Yeah. I have no idea where to get that no. It should have come with it, but might be a manufacturing or assembly problem. I think the best option is to buy a new flex shaft, and if that one shakes from the start as well, take it back and get it replaced. But don't open and look inside the tool, because that will void warranty I think.
I'm not thinking so. I can't find them anywhere and they are fully attached to the spindle core. mine got clogged with dust and now heats up due to friction.

Thank you very much. I managed to repair my dremel hose thanks to you.
I love seeing how things work and also how to fix stuff. Thank you 😊

Hi. You are not able to screw on other attachments with the flex shaft. The threads are to small.
Great, thanks!
How do you keep the cable from falling back out? Its not locked in place by anything

where can i get spare parts for the shaft ? like the inner spindle

What is your opinion about re-greasing the shaft/wire?
I've never done it mine. But I think it would be good to do it to reduce heat build up and it will make the motor have to work less.
Can you change the bearings .

Great video 👍🏻
Thank :)
...and you need a flex shaft 😂😂 who would guess 🤣
Now don't push the shiny button while it's spinning again 😂
