i love the dmc series havent played the new Dmc bullcrap but ive been getting some conflicting opinions bout it, just hope they put things back the way they were w/ the addition of better graphics like in the new dmc series by ninja gaiden, or maybe meet the two storylines in the middle and go back to the dmc 4 storyline, it is possible if you take a look at all the dmc storylines, itd be cool i gues, badass vid/movie btw my fav dmc chapter :))
The "Only one was last standing" Refers to the part of Dante Finally beating Vergil on the last mission. In fact,Lady/Marry actually tells this story after it has been finished,not before the whole things started. The scene where Vergil seems to have killed Dante,which there she said that sentence,was actually made for confusing ppl who havent play the game,about the fate of Dante and the game story,considering they play with Dante whoes the main hero.

I actually was thinking about this. The similarities are crazy. Dante has the Rebellion, equal to the Tetseiga, and Vergil has Yamatao, equal to the Tenseiga. Inuyasha and Dante both wear red, are both half demons with silver hair who possess an unfathomable amount of strength. Sesshomaru and Vergil are both the evil brothers who are always clambering for more power.
I never said it's better, and of course i share that opinion with you for a half. DMC3 was way better but it was nice to play a new dmc and learn more about the story when he was a kid.
Or like Trigun. Vash the Stampede is a master gunman who has two guns, one black and one white. He considers himself a demon although he is a force of good and fights against his brother who is trying to destroy mankind. He also wears a red coat and is a destitute loner followed around by two women. Like Lady and Trish.
thats how video games use to be. so it doesnt bother me. btw, i beat the original DMC3 on dante must die mode. the secret is trickster style. trust me when i say that game is more about avoiding as much damage as possible rather than dealing it. also those hours of playing that game and dying and retrying made me much better at the game.
