What a cool looking shark! When our community had an aquarium, one of their bamboo sharks laid bunches of eggs and you could watch them develop--lots of fun to see their progress!
You're totally fine to free it. Ive have a few of these Bamboo cat sharks. Ive hatched a few with yolks the size of quarters and they were just fine. Kept them in glass jars like you did with the axes
Seems you've replaced Bobby's sister as the better film crew. Hatching the baby shark was pretty amazing. Good luck keeping it alive, some salt water fish are just so difficult to keep.

Tangs are some of the hardest saltwater fish to keep. They are so finicky. I had a salt water tank back when I was like 21 to 23 and I probably went through 15 tangs and they were in perfect health. They were eating but they the smallest influx in the water can kill him. It's incredibly difficult, like in my opinion get seen enemies and clownfish. They are easier to deal with but I get it. Tanks are beautiful. I love them. I am very sorry to hear that your tangs have been dying. Hopefully you can figure out exactly why and figure out a way to be able to keep them alive. I finally just gave up I was. It would break my heart every time I killed them.
That was all on you Rob. Bobby was trying to put him right into the tank but you made him wait and that’s why he jumped? If he e no da up with trouble now from losing most his slime coat, it’s all on you Rob. 🤔🤷♂️
