I was originally forced to read this book for my literature class. I’m so glad I read this book I expected this book to focus on a historic aspect but I fell in love with I couldn’t put it down !

I enjoyed the book I thought it was well written. And u did a fantastic job doing a book review. This had love stuff in it, and I’m not into love books, but I thought this one was ok. Obviously One he meet at the secondary school is her main love, but who do u think is her best second love

Lol, it's not their love that brings them back together. Ifem ghosts Obinze for years and only gets back together with him for convenience.
I've read it over 20 times and I always get so disappointed about the ending lol, I wish I could know how it all plays out with Obinze.
FYI, I feel like I've lived the Obinze experience as a black queer woman from South Africa bit without the real estate money haha
Finally, there is someone that shares same view about the book with me.
I feel like marriage was cheapened in the book
