Since doing this CAMduct Post Processor this way, we have been making Post Processors for different brands of Lasers that all have very specific requirements that can't be done in customNC alone.
i edited a burny postprocessor using the tool custom CN for a old burny machine but When the cnc file is generated the machine doesnt read the file .so we have to write the cut number manually.
There are many reasons this might be the case. Some of the old controllers are very fussy. The text encoding on the nc file I have had problems with. In another case an old Lockformer plasma would not read block code and only essi code.
You should be able to customize all those remarks in Camduct itself so that it is directly writing the information you need into the .txt file for the machine to read. Good on you though for this vid! Amazing!! Is everything still working nicely?
Well, this is a slow reply. I guess I missed the notification. There are many things I should be able to do in CAMduct but find it difficult or not possible. Since then we have been working on another Laser that requires substantially different formatting using subroutines for parts. All of the reformatting we are doing in another program we call from the script. This machine is still running just fine.
