Super helpful. Would love to see more videos setting up the jvc projectors that really dial in the color and contrast based on your environment. Sometimes video games have you calibrate the in game settings using certain graphic patterns when you first start them up. Either way great video!
Thanks Spencer, really the only calibration you can do is the brightness and contrast. Color would have to be done by a pro or using JVC’s Theater Optimization options and a external cal camera
Agreed but there are a lot of benefits going laser and price revolves around competition. If the comp only has (1) laser model at $20k+ then the JVC laser that is comparable is still a very good deal at $10k
@@reneauds I’m actually going to adjust these settings to what he shows tomorrow such as frame adapt hdr etc (it’s 11pm at night by me), I’ll let you know if it makes a difference. Quick tip: if you’re upgrading your screen and projector, make sure you update your hdmi cables! I got ones that support both 8k 60 and 4K 120 to match the projectors specs

Hey Joe! For the most part, yes. But with some of the output setting specifically around laser, you may not have those exact options.
I love these projectors. I do hope in a couple years the price comes down . Quite a price jump from the NX series.

Congrats! I just recently had the nz8 installed in my home and you will not regret it, the blacks are super crisp and the 8k up shift is *chefs kiss*

These settings can apply to all of the new JVC laser models.
