This is awesome! High school softball coach myself, and I get weird looks from coaches/parents who still believe you have to swing down in softball (throw the knob, make contact with extended arms etc) we need more softball content like this. Thanks!

What about ball path? Upward for riseball? Should there be any adjustment to swing plane?

Personally I would say no. I don’t know many hitters who can see one pitch and completely change their mechanics to another swing. I recommend if the ball rises to check hight. To swing 1-2 balls above it. The ball will rise and meet the barrel in a decent spot to get a like drive.
