It's 2022 and I am still interested in the book and often times get back to watch interviews with this inspiring woman.
Bacall was Magic. RIP
I read this book 20 times. It was a well written wonderful life story. I used it as a reference book in my life. She was an amazing storyteller. An incredible woman. I wrote to her before her death in 2014 thanking her. I didn't receive a reply. I hope she read my note.
I agree! She’s a wonderful role model: completely unpretentious while so elegant and refined at the same time. I read her book when I was 15 and I loved it! I re-read it a few years ago and enjoyed it just as much. I’m going to get the “...and then some,” version now. Have you read the updated version?
And I thought I was the only one...I read that book over and over and sometimes parts of it loved it.
But that was about 20 years ago.

@@madeleine9907 Madeleine I was in my early 20s when I first read it. It was so powerful for me. It proves what love will make us do, what we become because of it and how nothing can stop it or change it. It's bigger than we are.
Love the book By Myself. It is such a great read and this is a wonderful piece to see with the book in mind.
