Mostly just to help the ramp up period into higher mileage. Not that you don't know what to do (I mean, I have worked myself into injury a couple times and I know that an objective person looking at my training would have been like "WTF are you doing, you need more recovery than that"), but sometimes having to do only what a coach prescribes keeps you honest. Anywho, glad to hear the accupuncture worked!!
