Starting from Jeddah, our group entered the sacred city of Makkah, where we spent 5 transformative days in worship and exploration. From performing Umrah at the heart of the Haram to visiting historical sites like the Cave of Hira, where the first revelation was received, every moment was truly memorable.
Our adventure continued as we took the historic migration route of the Prophet ﷺ from Makkah to Madinah. Here, we immersed ourselves in Madinah’s rich spiritual atmosphere for another 5 days, visiting sacred landmarks such as Masjid Quba and Mount Uhud, and creating lifelong bonds with like-minded travelers. A unique highlight was the opportunity for everyone, men and women alike, to experience traditional horse riding, enjoy a personalized tour of Masjid An Nabawi with Ustadh Abdullah, and engage in enriching discussions with local scholars. We even had time for some football, sharing laughs, and indulging in authentic Arabian cuisine.

Raising Awareness: The Plight of Northern Nigeria
The people of northern Nigeria are enduring unimaginable suffering, with little recognition from the global community. They face relentless challenges, including hunger, a lack of basic human necessities, and the threat of terrorism. Currently, three terrorist groups are exploiting these conditions, drawing vulnerable youths into extremism, driven largely by a lack of education and opportunity.
Education is key to breaking this cycle. Without it, many young people feel they have no other choice but to join these groups, perpetuating violence and instability. We need to prioritize education in northern Nigeria, providing a path for youths to rise above poverty, reject extremism, and build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
