It's so nice seeing a Sandstorm build that doesn't rely on Roar. You cooked with this one. Now try this one for kicks, 2 green shards for 14 corrosive stacks, Caustacyst with enough electric mods to hit a 2:1 ratio of electric to corrosive. The grouping + ragdoll effect of Sandstorm increase the damage of electric by increasing the likelihood that the Tesla Chain effects hits the enemy's heads. Then for added effect you can use Sickening Pulse, because why not have a 1,000% increase on your electric damage and a near instant full strip?
I wish this had at least a brief explanation. why the azothane specifically? cant you just slap viral modding and heat on anything? what are the crystals set to, why only 1 green? where does the toxic for continuity come from? is 18% extra power from arcane power ramp really that great? like it doesnt have to be a 40 minute build guide, just a small list of the essential building blocks in the description would be nice
To be honest this video is mostly about the ability synergy, my builds aren't polished or anything special, they're just there for the sake of transparency, and you can definitely come up with something better than that, that's why I didn't feel the need to explain them. Now to answer your questions: azothane is my stat stick because I have a riven for it and I think it looks cool, anything could work, it's all about personal preference. the azure one is for +75% energy max, the crimson ones are for strength and the emeralds ones (there are two actually) are there to increase max stack of corrosion status - again, it all comes down to personal preference, you don't need those to make that ability combo strong. archon continuity is not necessary here, I just didn't bother to change it after messing around with builds. arcane power ramp actually gives you +36% ability strength and I think it's worth it imo :)
Hmmmmm, I'm not sure if this ability synergy needs any explanation tbh, its basically two aoe abilities that go well together. You might wanna read the descriptions of both breach surge and elemental sandstorm, that should clarify everything. However, if you have any questions, Ill be more than happy to answer them :)
with all due respect, I do not understand why you insist on running archon vitality on a build that doesn't inflict heat procs, and archon *intensify* would actually give you *more* power strength than umbral intensify since sandstorm heals you. I pretty much the one umbral mod I run is umbral vitality, and I ignore umbral fiber and umbral intensify altogether. This gets you *more* health, *and* more power strength, at the cost of, I guess less armor? but you're running a sandstorm build, armor is irrelevant. just cast sandstorm.
if you paid attention to the video you would notice the azothane has heat on it... and hes using the elemental sandstorm augment, which triggers archon vitality, archon intensify is a 5% p strength increase but you need a trigger condition, meaning its really not that good here
