In this game, I have determined that there are 2 optimal vehicles in this game: a day vehicle and a night vehicle. A day vehicle would get you the best speed and acceleration stats without much power. For example, an engine swapped Beetle will get you 9.8 for speed and 10 for acceleration at only 3.8 power. (For engine swapping, pick the engine with the highest potential horsepower, tried this with the Beetle and a Lotus, it's the best option.) A good day car will most likely be a cheap, lightweight car that is engine swapped for better stats. This means your car will be fast, but since it's so light, it will also have good handling. For a night vehicle, you will want 10s across the board for stats. If you can get 10s for acceleration and speed while also having a 10 for power, this is your best option for night racing. For example, my Regera has 10 power, 10 speed, and just below 9 (I think) for acceleration. A night vehicle will be heavier than a day vehicle, and it won't handle as well, but a night vehicle is meant to take a beating from potential traffic and cops, so the heavier the vehicle, the more damage it needs to be completely destroyed. A good night vehicle will probably be a hypercar, an engine swapped muscle car, or a larger vehicle, such as an F150 or a G Wagon, if I can get its speed/acceleration stats high enough.
I hope they fix the traffic ai in the next NFS game, or at least make them actually follow the road code/laws. (at least have to stop at a red light at least!)
