I work at a wedding venue and it's so much fun! But I hate seeing people spend so much on extravagant flowers just to toss them away or late night snacks when everyone is full. These are great tips.
Ugh soaking mine up too, I’m not ready for it to be over! So excited for you and cannot wait to see pics of your beautiful day! 💓 doing what makes yourself and partner happy is the best tip for the wedding!
Love the early planning! I can tell you are super excited! (It’s not really early planning 😂😂) I would love a DIY video. God is with you through this remember that he will do the best for you.
Such great advice! Yay for trying to keep wedding planning less stressful! We've filmed several weddings with no bridal party and it's been great. Their friends still hung out with them as they were getting ready, but there was no pressure on their friends. The other up side is it eliminates wedding party photos, so that's less time you have to take away from your day for photos. Another tip for weddings that want booze is to have kegs and wine. Trader's Joe wine is super cheap, but still good. One wedding gifted pint glasses with their names and date on it. It served as a favor and a classy way to drink beer from kegs. 😊 Have the best wedding day ever!
I love your videos! You are the cutest thing! I’m so glad I found you. I live in Celebration. I work in Orlando in an office so I feel like we have a lot in common...and we both love Disney. Anyway nice to meet you! Can’t wait to see wedding pics!
I thought I was being weird not wanting a huge wedding or wedding party. Glad I found this video, it's realistic for those who don't want to spend money on things less important for one day♡
I found your channel through a Disney intern video and I absolutely love it! Binge watching all of your videos! lol. Also I just accepted a job with Disney and loving your videos. We just got married in March and it was so expensive. We skipped out of the bridal party to save money too!
Congratulations! I know wedding planning can be stressful at times but it’s all worth it in the end. I’m getting married in 39 days and I’m still trying to get everything figured out lol
Your advice is so great! I’m planning a wedding on a budget too. We are getting married in the middle of the woods in the northeast next summer with 26 of our closest family and friends.
A good tip is if you have an outdoor venue like yours ask your venue to pass your details onto other brides a day either side of your day. Sometimes you can share flowers, table hire and even tent hire. A big cost of tent hire is the set up and take down. For flowers you might want pink and white and the other bride wants purple and white but you reach a compromise for half price flowers 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
You can even get some very pretty fake flowers from the Dollar Tree. They have a huge selection. It's about 6 flowers for one dollar. Definitely a way to save. Congratulations! 😊
Hi Allison ! I recently subscribed and wanted to know if you could make a video explaining the specifics of your job and what you do. I'm interested in marketing and would like to know more about it !
I love your tips, especially the one about skipping the bridal party. That sounds much more low key and easier on your friends! My two cents, don’t just put out cans of wine and beer. First off a can of wine is almost half a bottle! People will drink way more because they don’t realize how much wine is in one of those. I would put out drink dispensers with sangria instead. People can help themselves and you can make wine stretch farther. Just my two thoughts!
Would you be open to giving relationship advice Q&A and other tips? I know you have been with your fiance for many years and through so many life changing events so I'd love to ask questions and hear what you have to say! 💜
My cousin is getting married in May 2019. They’ve been planning for well over a year already! Their photographer is $8000!!!!!!! I never would’ve thought a photographer would cost that much!!
Jackie M we’re doing ours for about $7000 total and I believe Allison said in her update video that they did theirs for $1600. You definitely can do a beautiful wedding without spending $25,000. Congrats on your engagement!
Allison, I love you and all of your videos but truthfully if you don't have the money to invest 100% in every inch of your wedding, what's the big rush? You could be engaged for a few more months or even years to save up money and be able to get everything you want. This wedding sounds a bit sad. :/ save more money there's no rush...
insight of samantha if you go and watch her wedding video and update video it was absolutely gorgeous and exactly what she wanted. I’m only spending $7000 on my wedding total and I’m getting absolutely everything I want. I get your point but I think it means a lot more to her to actually be married and having money for traveling and other things she loves rather then spending lots of a wedding when she’d be equally as happy with not spending as much. Also I don’t think it’s that she doesn’t have the money to invest it’s that she would rather spend the money on other things. Same way I feel. No hate just giving an honest response and another perspective.
I CAN’T WAIT TO MARRY YOU! 😍
Brandon Bickerstaff CAN’T WAIT! 😍

Yes
We didn’t do save the dates and we didn’t have a bridal party. Everything was still prefect and we didn’t regret a thing.
Yay! That’s so great to hear! ✨💕👰
I love your earrings!
Thank you! 💗

How old are you?
I just got engaged too. Cheapest weddings are $25,000. So we have to wait around 3 years to get married. 🤷🏻♀️

You’re getting married in February or March? 🤔😀
