Oh, I loved the Hollyhocks. So springy and so pretty! I also enjoy hearing your laugh. Your videos always brighten my day. ☀️ Thanks, Ellen.
Beautiful painting Ellen Thank you for sharing with us xx
I'm planning to paint hollyhocks for art class.
I saw some lovely blue-purple hollyhocks near where I live, so I'm using those colors for my flowers.
My parents grew hollyhocks. Can’t wait to try.
How nice
Thank you
I absolutely LOVE your real time tutorials when you complete a simple yet effective painting in one short session. I’m beginning to understand how to work in different areas as others dry. Timing ⏱ 🙏💙🌵🌵🌵
Thank you 😊
Wonderful…love hollyhocks & these are great
Thanks
Very pretty, I love Hollyhocks.
I love these. I am painting them on cards that come with matching envelopes and will give them to family and friends on their birthdays etc. Fun to do. Thanks
I love your channel, Ellen! The hollyhocks are so pretty. Simple yet beautiful! Perfect for Mother's Day! I'd love to see a tutorial on you painting hibiscus flowers 🌺 😊

Gorgeous Ellen Happy Spring 🌿🌷🌿🌷🌿🌷🌿
Thanks 😊
beautiful, and yes it does remind me of morning glories. I love both of them. I like simple, the simpler the better for me.
Holly hocks remind me of my grandmother's garden. She had flowers growing in almost every space that there were no vegetables.
And, Yeah morning glories. That's what I was thinking. Just do the stems more viney. (Lol. I don't think that's a real word but, ya know what I mean) then kinda heart shaped leaves.
Yes!
Hi Ellen, I loved painting the hollyhocks. Mine never look exactly like yours, but that's OK!! Thank you for your amazing tutorials. I enjoy them so much! 💞

So pretty! I'm going to try.
Love those hollyhocks. I hope I can paint with such skill and beauty like you one day.
Thank you. This is lovely! Will definitely try it. You make it look so simple but I know you have a lot of miles on that brush. I've yet to do my first mile, but this is something to aspire to. Thanks again!
Really pretty and realistic.
Amazing tutorials. Thank you so very much. ❤
Very nice! I love those. Grandma always had hollyhocks growing around her vegetable garden.
Sweet
Love the squiggles it really makes a difference. I've just planted two a white and yellow one.💖💖💖

Absolutely beautiful ❤
Beautiful
Really enjoyed this tutorial.
Thanks for the Hollyhocks! Thanks for mixing your greens, I’m slowly getting it. Love you dear.
You’re welcome ☺️
It’s beautiful 😍
Thank you 😊
Thank you for This tutorial, your hollyhocks turned out beautifully. Where I seem to lose it is in letting go and adding in the vines. I want to get better at painting in a loose style, but it is a very big challenge for me. I need to get over those fears and just experiment, and you are the perfect teacher to help me. Thank you Ellen.
Lovely! Thanks for such an awesome video. Will try this. Still not sure how you got so many different shades of green. Will watch again concentrating on how you mix the colors.
Add blue to your green or brown or some red
I’m fairly new to your channel, and to watercolor. I could paint with you all day - so calming. I love that encourage flow and not perfection. Thank you for the tutorials! 🌸✨

Yup on my channel
This is a little off topic, Ellen, but I can’t find the video you did using Verditer Blue on a watering can. I really loved the color and ordered it, but now that it has finally arrived, I can’t locate the video. Do you remember the title?
Watering can is either Mini. Monday ink & wash or it’s an exclusive on patreon
