Both the communities were tied with Sufi beliefs and the Muslims did realise that their ancestors were Hindus. Unrest started in Karachi, when the Muhajirs arrived from India. I was told that our people handed their home keys to their Muslim neighbours thinking that the situation could be temporary and when things calm down, they will return. After partition,, the love between two communities was not as bad as today. The fanatic govt of Pakistan did not like this love, they started introducing Pathans in Sindh to break the harmony and now the Hindu population is diminishing at fastest rate. Sindhis want Sindhudesh as they are undermined by other communities.

There were some Hindu asylums from Sindh in Rajasthan where they beat up a person in market because he chanted Bharat Mata Ki Jai. They mixed up with the local muslims of that area and beat up. It was 3-4 years ago incident. you can search on the internet. I dont know if the people were Muslims in the name of Hindu or truly Hindu people.

The story is....
Pakistan was born on anti Hindu and anti Indian campaign. Zinnah nourished this anti Hindu hatred and conspired the partition of mother India....Indeed world witnessed the largest migration and bloodshed partition in history...Zinnah, Liyakat Ali and cunning Mountbatten were successful in their agenda....but Our homeland Sindh which was integral part of mother India was lost in the most discriminatory, biased and unplanned partition of mother India...we Sindhi Hindus were never asked and consulted in this matter..In one single day we Sindhi Hindus became refugees in our own country...we lost our jobs, our homes, our shops, our farms, our homeland Sindh....
My forefathers moved to free India from the Sindh....yes the Sindh which is considered as lost child of mother India...
The world witnessed that we Sindhi Hindus sacrificed our homeland Sindh for our motherland India 🇮🇳.
We Sindhi Hindus carried our Sindhi language, our Sindhi culture and customs with us...our forefathers saw immense poverty, struggle but after 75 years of partition we Sindhi are counted among the educated, cultured and upper middle class citizens of mother India..
Sindhi Hindus have contributed a lot in Indian education, business, film industry and charitable hospitals,charitable colleges, universities etc...we have built our temples in every city of the world..and we chant Jai Shri Ram, Jai Jhulelal Sain....Jai Hind...Jiye SINDHYAT every day...
The moral of the story is that Pakistani lost the upper middle class which was the backbone of Pakistan economy...during 1947. Pakistan exported hatred, discrimination, violence and imported guns, weapons and arms for extremists and militancy...
Today India is known for Science, technology, business and education...but Pakistan is known for militancy, low GDP, poor economic growth, violence, human rights violations, forced conversions of minorities, kidnapping, and brutal murders of minorities in Pakistan occupied Sindh...

Both the communities were tied with Sufi beliefs and the Muslims did realise that their ancestors were Hindus. Unrest started in Karachi, when the Muhajirs arrived from India. I was told that our people handed their home keys to their Muslim neighbours thinking that the situation could be temporary and when things calm down, they will return. After partition,, the love between two communities was not as bad as today. The fanatic govt of Pakistan did not like this love, they started introducing Pathans in Sindh to break the harmony and now the Hindu population is diminishing at fastest rate. Sindhis want Sindhudesh as they are undermined by other communities.
