Those idols are not singers, they are models. For some reason before we hear their voice, they are already freaking luxury brand ambassadors.
This makes it easy to scrap idols after any minor “scandals” and it makes it dangerous to literally be human. They scrapped Seunghan after only a few months for nothing, Garam….

@@TheRyno525 Who debutes minor idols and then does everything perfectly the wrong way in order to fan the flames of a controversy surrounding said minor, a minor who was STILL IN school and therfore aby bullying issues would have been right there at the forfro t.if her life had they existed, meaning rhat either the company should have expected a controversy and been ready or simply known that there was nothing to draw and quarter a child over to begin with and made that as evident as possible from the very first accusation. Because obviously she had an incident in her VERY recent past that they 100% knew about and debuted her for one of two reasons.... that issue was jot as it seemed and she was an innocent girl defending a friend. Therefore they would have been 100% prepared with everything they needed to defend her. As it was guaranteed, the discovery of her pas, via all the anti HYBE artists people and/or the likelihood of accusations if a jealous schoolmate who knew about her past inevitably hit.
They knew that what she had, which was a common case of "not what it looks like" in her past would cause what it did, as they are not new to the industry. Therefore, they would have looked for such stuff in their potential idols and if they fins it decide accordingly. Are they worth it, if so, prepare to defend them. That's what they made it seem like they were doing. Defending her. But instead they quite literally acted as if they hadn't even thought abiut looking into the past of tjeir idols despite the way in which kpop is now, and so a result hasn't prepared for that possibly being brought front and center. They acted out the ENTIRE "legal battle" over a large period of time, silenced her and anyone else involved on her behalf and allowed the entire opportunity industry to be fed lies from the other side as devolve into a moshpit of screaming animals who were feeding of each others wildly escalating anger.
All of which having gone from "normal and still completely unacceptable treatment of another human being that far outweighs ANYTHING that person has been accused of and quite literally make all of them 100 times the monster that they have ever been painted as being" in response... to a level of inhuman treatment, of a child nonetheless, that is without a doubt deserving of criminal charges itself. Worse part of which was that the level of which was so unbelievably devastating and scarring when it's set upon such a fragile young girl... I couldn't even imagine how anyone involved in the disgusting display that was that case, could EVER Justify their actions therein. Nevermind continue to believe she needed to be punished for ANYTHING after what they did to her, even when there was still NOTHING solid evidence wise, and of course NO verdict. All in a case whos accusations, still, under no circumstances, would have ever even come CLOSE to warrenting what she was put through in just the journey to get there.
All of that was being done to HER, whilst HYBE so clearly KNEW from the get go that she had done nothing wrong and therefore should have immediately been able to it shut down. Yet they WITHHELD proof, they REFUSED to release proof, that the little girl they had debuted, that they wre responsible for, that they fed to the wolves, had simply been innocent all along and the school had blatantly declared as such back when the situation had occurred. So, please, tell me how this wasn't COMPLETELY the fault of HYPE and their DESIRE to have thus young girl go through what she did, all so that they could just kick her out in the end, make the public say "YOU DID THE RIGHT THING! YAY! WE LOVE THE GROUP AGAIN!" made for themselves ENDLESS amounts of noise and promotion for the group, and then just toss the little girl away without EVER having cleared her name because... well, that would of courses make THEM look like what they are.

That's really insinuating that big global brands are risking laws for a Korean company that isn't even 10% of their market value. Global brands are looking at trends and NJs is trending. If it's per you're logic, every idol in Hybe would be a lux brand ambassador. It's clear to me that everyone in this video comment have no understanding of how the market works globally. Like it blows my mind that you guys think a country that isn't even top 10 of global economies, can influence major global brands to make back door deals and break laws. And not just one, 20 or 30 different global brands for ONE kpop group.
Also to note, global lux brands have brand deals with trending artists in a lot of countries. China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Mexico, Japan, countries in Europe. And guess what? Newjeans is trending for Korea. Logic is out the door with yall.

Any company with millions of dollars definitely has the power to get their idols to the top in unfair ways. I mean back then companies would buy idols that were starting to get to the top so they wouldn’t have competition for their future artists. And now Hybe is pulling lots of strings for their artists. Hybe is open about the way they get their idols to the top, other companies are just good at hiding their strategies. It honestly saddens me seeing what Hybe has become, bts built hybe, bts worked so hard to get to the top and bighit decided to use their money to make a corporation that no longer wants idols to work hard to get to the top, now hybe idols are getting lots of privileges. Bighit bit the hand that fed them and I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m the future, Hybe becomes the most hated company

Some added info. ILLIT is owned by a private company called BE:LIFT Lab, whose major stakeholders were CJ ENM and HYBE as a joint venture. HYBE later acquired all of the equity that CJ ENM owned and now has the controlling stake in BE:LIFT Lab. As the parent company they can make any decision they like and the subsidiary has to follow. Most subsidiaries have autonomy unless the parent company steps in, but ultimately they have to follow the plans set forth by the parent company in the quarterly board meetings. HYBE can tell BE:LIFT and ADOR to do whatever and they have to follow. This is just how corporations work.

K-pop fans are the most clueless people in the world. If you're shocked by this then it means you were born yesterday and u have no idea how the entertainment business works. Like this is literally what Western labels like Universal Music have been doing for years- getting their new artist in front of talk shows and magazine covers even before they debut. It's how they generate interest for their artist. Of course, Hybe knew sending this group to a fashion show was going to make K-pop fans lose their minds and cause so much noise which is exactly what they wanted. This news has brought so much attention to this group which is exactly the point of it. The post on the K-pop chart alone has 6 million engements. That was honestly smart move.

It's not even a entertainment industry thing. Whether you are Nike or run a lemonade stand at a market, you need to do everything you can to get your message out there and make sure what you're selling is a success. The issue here seems to be that some unwritten K-pop timeline rules are not being followed. But the company has employees who need to put food on the table and pay their bills. Why should it not take advantage of opportunities that come up.

Are we supposed to be surprised that bigger companies have more resources to make their products successful? It's like being surprised that Apple uses their resources to make products that garner interest before they're released.
Additionally, if Hybe artists have a greater chance at success at debut, then debuting at Hybe becomes more attractive to trainees. If more trainees want to debut with Hybe, then it becomes more competitive to become a Hybe trainee and debut. Which means those that debut with Hybe likely had to outperform their peers in a very competitive environment. Is that privilege or merit?

The group consists of 2 members with heavenly vocals (PARK MINJU- 19 and LEE WONHEE- 16), 2 members with breathtaking and different dance styles (HOKAZONO IROHA- 16, SAKAI MOKA- 19) and an all rounder (NOH YUNAH- 20). They didn't climb up on chart just over night, plot twist literally started gaining attention after they started promoting in music shows and Koreans are literally listening to them, from kids to teenagers to adults. Even idols are talking about it. Pledis is promoting them really well in Korea and Japan that's why they are gaining attention. It's not like they have become overly successful just because of one song, general public is enjoying it because of relatable lyrics and cute vibes of song. Otherwise &team and bnd would have gotten the same privilege. TWS ain't special añd pledis or all companies have their own staff, they never did anything illegal for seventeen, only attention tws got was being brother group of seventeen, they are gaining attention for that not being under hybe that's for sure. Even seventeen members are not promoting tws like they did during dream academy where all members put stories for that show. All credit should be given to pledis for exceptional promotions. As long a bang pd still in hybe, my trust still with hybe. Bang pd sees potential in the long run instead of the current talent. Reminded I-land when Sunoo get chosen instead of K. Idol ≠ pure singer. Idol is total package. You cant blame the company and idols if they are popular, its the fan and public who make them popular. No one can be popular without fans. As long as the company is not associated with drugs, abuse power and overwork idols, I am actually okay. For musicality part, it can be both subjective and objective. Fans have grown affection towards their idols, even if they dont sound as good as other idols, they are blinded by love. As long as fans are happy, I dont think anything else matters.
Just because your favourite idol is less popular doesnt give you the right to bring down less talented idols. Less talented idols need to work harder to improve themselves, their fans find satisfactions from seeing improvements over the years. Idols are dream job for both talented and untalented people. Fans choose who they want to like. Regardless of the hate, true fans wont back down from seeing their potential and supporting their source of happiness.

I speculate that they used to be not that well known, but the moment they showed potential to blow up (God's Menu era), that was when JYP invested and gave them even more oppoturnities. In conclusion, I wouldn't think of SKZ as a self-made but a self-produce group in which the members are really passionate with their music.

Sending ILLIT to the Paris fashion show is a way of promoting them and giving them exposure before their debut. What’s wrong with that?? Haters just seem to see them as a threat to their faves…
Groups debuting under the Big 3 + Hybe have always been privileged. Why are people suddenly acting so surprised? Isn’t that privilege exactly the reason why trainees desire to debut under them? For guaranteed success and a steady income?
This whole privilege discussion just seems so unnecessary to me… Kpop fans love to hate on Hybe since they’re the most successful company at the moment. Now those fandoms remain bitter about BTS being the outsider who overtook everyone to unreachable levels and naturally, all groups under Hybe still are the outsiders to that long reigning rule big3 stans were used to and were a part of. 2 TXT: Pre-debut TXT used to get 1-2 drinks and mix water into them so that all 5 members could drink them. Not to mention the shitty practice rooms.
3 Seventeen: They got physical punishments.
Le Serafilm: Lost a member because of false bullying accusations, the company couldn't protect Garam.
Zerobaseone: Ricky was insulted during a live just because he didn't get permission beforehand.
