Elvis' life was so sad from beginning to end. He had everything but really had nothing. A very broken man in the end. His fame came very quick & what was really important to him faded into the shadows. Nothing will ever stop me from loving Elvis, his talent was unbeatable. 💕

Yes I believe that Priscilla was the only women he ever really truly loved. Until his dying day. I think he did go out with a few other women but his heart was always with Priscilla. I do believe he would have still been alive or at least have many more years if they was together.
If you love someone so much, then why cheat. Can’t have it both ways. He never spent much time alone with her, she only wanted private time with him and he could not provide that small request. Very sad.
She was his rock to hold on to, after his Mama passed and she was who he could trust and confide all to, just like his Mama. When she left him, he started to fall, fall, fall.... He lost himself and that stability she had made him feel for all those years, being silently by his side.He only realised how much he loved her after he lost her, then it was too late. The songs he sang thereafter were of his life, his loss and his pains. He sang them with all his heart. A broken heart! Thanks Scotty and Craig! It got to me when "Feelings" played. The song is not in there by chance..was found in the The Den in his record player..he tried unsuccessfully to record it so it was taped over..a real shame

As soon as I saw it was "Feelings" I thought what if he had recorded that. Then the next day, on Elvis Lass's channel, the discussion came up of which song we would have liked to hear Elvis singing. I immediately said "Feelings". Then in the afternoon I watched another "Gates of Graceland" video and low and behold, Angie was talking about the Jungle room sessions. Here, she said that he did record it, they tried many times but he just couldn't get it right and sadly, as you said, they recorded over it. Yet another top presentation guys. My own thoughts are that Priscilla gets an unfair hard rap from some fans. She, rightly, did not want to be a surrogate mother for Elvis. He would not have wanted a woman to be his doormat , the inevitable outcome was that she was not going to put up with his indiscretions. Doesn't mean that they didn't still love each other.
Elvis wasn’t sure he’d be a success. When his career took off at such a young age, I have no doubt he was overwhelmed. When his feet finally touched the ground, who knows what impact that had on him. I wonder if he knew how much his fans loved and adored him. I hope so. But it wouldn’t fill the loneliness he spoke of having. What a special man that will never be replaced and always loved. ❤️❤️❤️
After reading about Elvis in the 70s and 80s theres no question for me that he loved and missed Priscilla and went on a downward spiral after she left, but imo he had become so wrapped up in the Elvis the world thought he was and not the person that he was, he had lost himself along the way, all the fame, money and the endless women didnt make him happy in the end and he knew it, it was a very sad end.
Priscilla to me was the most Gorgeous girl I'd ever seen. She always will be. Elvis was very handsome and he very well knew it. He did hurt himself and her. But to him Priscilla was everything.
That little girl had grown into a strong young woman and Elvis knew she had moved on. He had lost a terrific person who had so loved him and wanted it all to work out but he could not commit and give her what she wanted and needed. He was riddled with guilt that he had not behaved as a good husband should but knew he had to let her go. Full of regrets and feeling low and lonely left him sad. He gave up on a lot of things and turned to drugs even more. Spiralling downwards and loosing himself. So so sad because Elvis was a kindhearted generous loving man but his life and lifestyle made it difficult for him to walk a straight line. But oh what a woman Pricilla became and we have to thank her for keeping Elvis in our lives by saving Graceland and his life preserved. ❤️
I agree. I think Elvis watches his family from heaven and I think that he is proud of what in particular Priscilla and his family has done to grow their talents and to keep his memory alive
I very much enjoyed watching the. Videos. We sometimes don’t want to see celebrities etc., as being human. It’s terribly sad that Elvis’ heart hurt. It’s sad there was not someway for him & Priscilla to of worked things out… it’s terribly sad when anyone with a good & loving heart, gets trapped in addiction. I think Elvis loved her, so much that with a short period of time let the hurt of his mom passing, losing his wife, overwhelmed and over take him… that he no longer wanted to live.
How do people have the courage to say that Elvis did not love Priscilla, that he was forced to marry her. If the happiest moments in his life, it was next to her and Lisa. The photos show everything, everything... After the separation the man had a sad look, he didn't smile anymore. Even his physical type was affected. When he was married to Priscilla, Elvis was at the peak of beauty, after the divorce, just downhill.

What is interesting to me is that he met Priscilla near the same time his mom passed away. As if he could confide in someone again. I just watched an interview with Priscilla and Barbra Walters where Priscilla mentions shortly after she gave birth to their child, Elvis didn’t want to be intimate with her.Maybe he still had unresolved mother issues and affected his marriage? Who knows.

I wasn't born until quite a few years after Elvis passed so I just recently started learning about him because of the Elvis movie. So far my opinion is he absolutely loved Priscilla and she loved him as well until the end. I think she still loves him today. You can hear the sadness and hurt in his voice in some of his songs. But the drugs and infidelity ruined it all. It's very sad. I wish things turned out differently in the end.

I read Priscilla says that 4 days before Elvis died....he called her and asked her to come back to him. She said she did not know what to do. Next thing she heard was that he died. She also said to him....will you not see anymore women outside our marriage if I come back? Elvis said.....I will not see any other women....just you. I wish Priscilla would have gone back to him.

I often wonder what will happen to his legacy once Priscilla is gone. Now that Lisa Marie is no longer here, she is truly the last of that legacy history to be here to protect it all. I am sure she never thought her child would go before she did. I hope they have some iron clad clauses in place to protect Graceland and all of that for more generations to come. ❤️

Wow! Just WOW! This made me want to cry. He had everything he wanted at his fingertips, but couldn't get out of his own way. I think he realized it not too long before he died. He really did want a family, but Parker had him on a never ending grind! It's so heartbreaking that he never found the peace he was looking for. You could tell by the songs he sang almost 2yrs after the breakup that he was grieving for the loss.

I was 3 when Elvis died.i am now 48 and live the man dearly. His music touches my heart and soul. The new film is just wonderful. He had it hard sometimes and his manager burnt him out. He truly never stopped loving presila. All my ❤️ from Scotland xx
Scotty and Craig,this had me crying my heart out. 😥 Y'all tell a story of a man that didn't know what he had until it was gone. Priscilla knew him better than anyone. She knew the heart inside of Elvis like no other woman ever could. They just never had enough time alone together. I'll go to my grave feeling Elvis adored his Cilla and she him. It shows in their eyes and the eyes are the windows to one's soul. Eyes don't lie. But she got so lonely without him. I think Elvis sings it best with "Indescribably Blue" because that's how he felt. The look on his face as they walked out of the Courthouse said it all. He was truly truly from that day forward, a lonely man. Thank you guys because in my eyes, it's your best one ever. Even though I'm crying as I write, through my tears I'm thinking maybe they would have found there way back to each other one day but that one day never came. She did not loved him at the time of walking out on him. She grew up, from 16, when she moved with him. She persuaded him, to let her move to Graceland. Anita Wood, was his girlfriend, long before he went into the army. He was conflicted, about Anita, & Priscilla. But Anita is the one that made the decision, when she found Priscilla's letters from Germany. I think Anita made a mistake. She should had fought for him. And Priscilla, would never had been. He wasn't to sure about Priscilla, cause of her age. Otherwise, he would had done the breakup with Anita. Losing his mom, feeling lost without her, Anita, walking out on him cause of jealousy, she did nagged him. That made his mind to bring Priscilla, for a visit. But Priscilla, was too young to know what real love was. I think it was puppy love. He became more of a father figured, taking care of her. He should had never moved her in. Usually, when one does the chasing, & they get what they want. They are the ones that also do the walking out. Remembered, when he died it was Ginger Alden, whom was engaged to him. He knew Priscilla, didn't loved him anymore. So he moved on also. And Ginger, was one of his witnesses, along with his father. To his will. He did not asked Priscilla, neither did he left her anything. He knew Priscilla, saw him, as a dollar sign by then. She's still trying to get his money. She grew up to be a cold, unforgiving, shrew, all about money. That girl he meet in Germany is no more. I don't like when she made an interview as soon as the divorce. To get more money. I was 17, when I read it. She's always been about the money. And that's also what broke Elvis, heart finding out whom she turned out to be.
Why would he put his ex wife in his will. That was not necessary since she is Lisa Marie legal guardian. She would eventually have control. He didn't add Ginger to his will either because everything was going to Lisa. That is why he would never marry Ginger.
This was the hardest to watch. The videos that you chose, the pictures brought out his pain. His eyes look so hurt and you could tell he was and would always miss Priscilla. The words that you express each scene is so very moving. You hit the nail on the head, with every word. Thank you so much for all your hard work. Scotty, this pulled at my “heart strings” and stirred my soul as well. This was such a beautiful presentation of Elvis and Priscilla’s marriage. When he first married Priscilla , we were sad, ( and jealous!! ), we felt we had lost him. . But as we watched them, in love and so happy with each other, we knew Elvis was getting the love he yearned for.. as we watched Priscilla become a part of Elvis, she became a part of us as well. “ she shared him with us, at least it felt that way. There have been a lot of “not so nice” remarks directed at Priscilla thru the years. Let’s not forget, she was his wife, the mother of his child, and probably the love of his life. She has preserved his memory for us, and for that we are ever grateful. Absolutely stunning!! You are getting better and better each time ( and you too Craig) what comes next?? It was so sad that two people loved each other so much and he just couldn’t stop doing what he was doing but he knew what he lost. Silver was very good and so with the God bless them both I wish he was here that they could be together again.

Since I went to see the new Elvis movie I have watched video after video about Elvis's life. I have always said he was my first love. I can remember being no more than 4 years old waiting to watch the latest Elvis movie when it came on with such excitement...my little baby hands just sweating! Lol! That being said I watched the video Elvis by the Presleys. There has been so much said about Elvis not wanting to marry Priscilla...I am just a fan..not part of his life but I have watched many video's and read so much about this man...I have a hard time believing that ANYONE could make Elvis do anything he didn't want to do where his personal life was concerned. He may have been scared to get married, had cold feet but if you watch Elvis closely in the wedding part of the video especially in Elvis by The Presley's the love he had for Priscilla is just pouring out of him! He was young, famous and the best looking man on earth. Women threw themselves at him. No excuse I know. If it were now days he would have had Priscilla and Lisa traveling with him all the time. It is so unfortunate that he didn't do that anyway. Would not have that outrageous of a thing for ELVIS to do....but he did have that wild side to him right. His Mom would have kicked his butt!! Lol! I am so curious about Ginger though...he asked her to marry him after 2 months of knowing her? Not really Elvis's style. Any thoughts or knowledge about Elvis's last relationship?

Elvis had a fear of being alone. That's one reason he had all those hanger oners around all the time BUT, being the man he was and the sexiest man on earth according to his female fans, the Colonel told him that image sells tickets & dreams to every woman thinking now they had a shot with Elvis themselves. We were both born in Mississippi and there are certain things we do because it's the South and it's how we were raised. Linda & Ginger were from the South too so of course most of their ways would be the same. He felt he had to have a woman at his side because that was part of what people expected. Linda was more of a caretaker of him than anything else. She loved Elvis but it wasn't the life she had envisioned. She wanted the family life with kids & all that but Elvis had that with Priscilla and he knew it would end the same way. He really just wanted female companionship that his entourage could see. Linda finally got tired after years of the lifestyle and nursing Elvis so she left. Not wanting to be alone, enter Ginger. Ginger and her Mama had a plan & had $$$ on their minds. Ginger was pushy and wanted marriage and Elvis to buy her Mama a house. It was pretty much cookie cutter to the relationship he had with Linda but the guys didn't like Ginger and pretty much saw the plan Ginger and her Mama had. Elvis was tired and GOD decided it was time for Elvis to go to his Heavenly home.

I have watched sooo many videos of Elvis lately, for some reason this one I find so beautiful and intimate and is my favorite. I think it's because of the commentaries from Priscilla and those that were close to him. Elvis was an astonishing talent and person. That thought that this Man could have anything but, the one thing he wanted and couldn't have was Priscilla. But, I really feel that it would have been different if he did not get into those prescription drugs, for that I blame the Dr that prescribed them to Elvis.

OMG this really made me sad and boy did I cry. No matter what, we all need a partner we truly love, that’s your friend, your lover, confidant and someone we can trust. This was done so beautifully, both the story, the songs and the video. Emotional but fair and honest. Life does get in the way and with a life as big as Elvis' it was almost inevitable. Hurt all around. But they had Lisa Marie and after the initial hurt I think they stayed friends to the end. In my mind, Elvis and Priscilla will always be a love story.

I can't watch this video. My mom and I loved Elvis. We often talked about him and Prescilla. When they split up we could tell in Elvis's voice that he was heartbroken and we felt bad for him. He missed Lisa Marie also. Divorce is devastating for anyone.

As soon as I saw it was "Feelings" I thought what if he had recorded that. Then the next day, on Elvis Lass's channel, the discussion came up of which song we would have liked to hear Elvis singing. I immediately said "Feelings".
Then in the afternoon I watched another "Gates of Graceland" video and low and behold, Angie was talking about the Jungle room sessions. Here, she said that he did record it, they tried many times but he just couldn't get it right and sadly, as you said, they recorded over it.

Yet another top presentation guys. My own thoughts are that Priscilla gets an unfair hard rap from some fans. She, rightly, did not want to be a surrogate mother for Elvis. He would not have wanted a woman to be his doormat , the inevitable outcome was that she was not going to put up with his indiscretions. Doesn't mean that they didn't still love each other.
Elvis wasn’t sure he’d be a success. When his career took off at such a young age, I have no doubt he was overwhelmed. When his feet finally touched the ground, who knows what impact that had on him. After reading about Elvis in the 70s and 80s theres no question for me that he loved and missed Priscilla and went on a downward spiral after she left, but imo he had become so wrapped up in the Elvis the world thought he was and not the person that he was, he had lost himself along the way, all the fame, money and the endless women didnt make him happy in the end and he knew it, it was a very sad end.

Priscilla to me was the most Gorgeous girl I'd ever seen. She always will be. Elvis was very handsome and he very well knew it. He did hurt himself and her. But to him Priscilla was everything.
That little girl had grown into a strong young woman and Elvis knew she had moved on. He had lost a terrific person who had so loved him and wanted it all to work out but he could not commit and give her what she wanted and needed. He was riddled with guilt that he had not behaved as a good husband should but knew he had to let her go. Full of regrets and feeling low and lonely left him sad. He gave up on a lot of things and turned to drugs even more. Spiralling downwards and loosing himself. So so sad because Elvis was a kindhearted generous loving man but his life and lifestyle made it difficult for him to walk a straight line. But oh what a woman Pricilla became and we have to thank her for keeping Elvis in our lives by saving Graceland and his life preserved. ❤️

I wasn't born until quite a few years after Elvis passed so I just recently started learning about him because of the Elvis movie. So far my opinion is he absolutely loved Priscilla and she loved him as well until the end. I think she still loves him today. You can hear the sadness and hurt in his voice in some of his songs. But the drugs and infidelity ruined it all. It's very sad. I wish things turned out differently in the end.

Wow! Just WOW! This made me want to cry. He had everything he wanted at his fingertips, but couldn't get out of his own way. I think he realized it not too long before he died. He really did want a family, but Parker had him on a never ending grind! It's so heartbreaking that he never found the peace he was looking for. You could tell by the songs he sang almost 2yrs after the breakup that he was grieving for the loss.

She knew the heart inside of Elvis like no other woman ever could. They just never had enough time alone together. I'll go to my grave feeling Elvis adored his Cilla and she him. It shows in their eyes and the eyes are the windows to one's soul. Eyes don't lie. But she got so lonely without him. I think Elvis sings it best with "Indescribably Blue" because that's how he felt. The look on his face as they walked out of the Courthouse said it all. He was truly truly from that day forward, a lonely man. Thank you guys because in my eyes, it's your best one ever. Even though I'm crying as I write, through my tears I'm thinking maybe they would have found there way back to each other one day but that one day never came. Anita Wood, was his girlfriend, long before he went into the army. He was conflicted, about Anita, & Priscilla. But Anita is the one that made the decision, when she found Priscilla's letters from Germany. I think Anita made a mistake. She should had fought for him. And Priscilla, would never had been. He wasn't to sure about Priscilla, cause of her age. Otherwise, he would had done the breakup with Anita. Losing his mom, feeling lost without her, Anita, walking out on him cause of jealousy, she did nagged him. That made his mind to bring Priscilla, for a visit. But Priscilla, was too young to know what real love was. I think it was puppy love. He became more of a father figured, taking care of her. He should had never moved her in. Usually, when one does the chasing, & they get what they want. They are the ones that also do the walking out. Remembered, when he died it was Ginger Alden, whom was engaged to him. He knew Priscilla, didn't loved him anymore. So he moved on also. And Ginger, was one of his witnesses, along with his father. To his will. He did not asked Priscilla, neither did he left her anything. He knew Priscilla, saw him, as a dollar sign by then. She's still trying to get his money. She grew up to be a cold, unforgiving, shrew, all about money. That girl he meet in Germany is no more. I don't like when she made an interview as soon as the divorce. To get more money. I was 17, when I read it. She's always been about the money. And that's also what broke Elvis, heart finding out whom she turned out to be.
Why would he put his ex wife in his will. That was not necessary since she is Lisa Marie legal guardian. She would eventually have control. He didn't add Ginger to his will either because everything was going to Lisa. That is why he would never marry Ginger.
This was the hardest to watch. The videos that you chose, the pictures brought out his pain. His eyes look so hurt and you could tell he was and would always miss Priscilla. The words that you express each scene is so very moving. You hit the nail on the head, with every word. Thank you so much for all your hard work. You make Elvis fans feel and are proud to be still Elvis fans.

Scotty, this pulled at my “heart strings” and stirred my soul as well. This was such a beautiful presentation of Elvis and Priscilla’s marriage. When he first married Priscilla , we were sad, ( and jealous!! ), we felt we had lost him. . But as we watched them, in love and so happy with each other, we knew Elvis was getting the love he yearned for.. as we watched Priscilla become a part of Elvis, she became a part of us as well. “ she shared him with us, at least it felt that way. There have been a lot of “not so nice” remarks directed at Priscilla thru the years. Let’s not forget, she was his wife, the mother of his child, and probably the love of his life. She has preserved his memory for us, and for that we are ever grateful. Absolutely stunning!! You are getting better and better each time ( and you too Craig) what comes next?? Since I went to see the new Elvis movie I have watched video after video about Elvis's life. I have always said he was my first love. I can remember being no more than 4 years old waiting to watch the latest Elvis movie when it came on with such excitement...my little baby hands just sweating! Lol! That being said I watched the video Elvis by the Presleys. There has been so much said about Elvis not wanting to marry Priscilla...I am just a fan..not part of his life but I have watched many video's and read so much about this man...I have a hard time believing that ANYONE could make Elvis do anything he didn't want to do where his personal life was concerned. He may have been scared to get married, had cold feet but if you watch Elvis closely in the wedding part of the video especially in Elvis by The Presley's the love he had for Priscilla is just pouring out of him! He was young, famous and the best looking man on earth. Women threw themselves at him. No excuse I know. If it were now days he would have had Priscilla and Lisa traveling with him all the time. It is so unfortunate that he didn't do that anyway. Would not have that outrageous of a thing for ELVIS to do....but he did have that wild side to him right. His Mom would have kicked his butt!! Lol! I am so curious about Ginger though...he asked her to marry him after 2 months of knowing her? Not really Elvis's style. Any thoughts or knowledge about Elvis's last relationship?

Elvis had a fear of being alone. That's one reason he had all those hanger oners around all the time BUT, being the man he was and the sexiest man on earth according to his female fans, the Colonel told him that image sells tickets & dreams to every woman thinking now they had a shot with Elvis themselves. We were both born in Mississippi and there are certain things we do because it's the South and it's how we were raised. Linda & Ginger were from the South too so of course most of their ways would be the same. He felt he had to have a woman at his side because that was part of what people expected. Linda was more of a caretaker of him than anything else. She loved Elvis but it wasn't the life she had envisioned. She wanted the family life with kids & all that but Elvis had that with Priscilla and he knew it would end the same way. He really just wanted female companionship that his entourage could see. Linda finally got tired after years of the lifestyle and nursing Elvis so she left. Not wanting to be alone, enter Ginger. Ginger and her Mama had a plan & had $$$ on their minds. Ginger was pushy and wanted marriage and Elvis to buy her Mama a house. It was pretty much cookie cutter to the relationship he had with Linda but the guys didn't like Ginger and pretty much saw the plan Ginger and her Mama had. Elvis was tired and GOD decided it was time for Elvis to go to his Heavenly home.

I have watched sooo many videos of Elvis lately, for some reason this one I find so beautiful and intimate and is my favorite. I think it's because of the commentaries from Priscilla and those that were close to him. Elvis was an astonishing talent and person. That thought that this Man could have anything but, the one thing he wanted and couldn't have was Priscilla. But, I really feel that it would have been different if he did not get into those prescription drugs, for that I blame the Dr that prescribed them to Elvis.

This was done so beautifully, both the story, the songs and the video. Emotional but fair and honest. Life does get in the way and with a life as big as Elvis' it was almost inevitable. Hurt all around. But they had Lisa Marie and after the initial hurt I think they stayed friends to the end. In my mind, Elvis and Priscilla will always be a love story.

Sad to watch his downward spiral after his divorce from Priscilla, none of his other girlfriends cared for him the way she did they were just with him for the fame and the money. His Mother and Priscilla were the two anchors in his life and without either of those he was like a boat lost at sea. I guess in the end Elvis Presley just got tired of being Elvis Presley.
