I'm currently watching "Word Of Honor" I have to say that it's one of the best bl adaptations. The chemistry between the two main leads is just perfect. I'm enjoying this drama as much as I enjoyed watching "The Untamed". I rate word of honor with ten stars because it has left a huge impression on me. Plus the romance it displays is on a whole new level. I hope it'll be no 1 this year cas it totally deserves it. Watch word of honor. You'll never regret it.
I agree 100%, I started watching Word of Honor on a whim, not really expecting much. What happened is that in some minutes already got me instantly hooked. The plot is really interesting and the moment both main actors met I knew I was done for. Y'all, the cHEMISTRY. THE LONG STARES, THE TOUCHES, THE LOVE POEM RECITING FROM ONE OF THE ACTORS TO THE OTHER (and shameless flirting 24/7) tbh... compared to The Untamed, this is another completely level, how did they even pass censorship??? I'm not complaining tho akdjks Also, the action scenes! so well choreographed. The script! it's so beautiful! This drama is a 10/10. I was expecting nothing and instead gained a new love for a drama. It's on the same level as The Untamed for me and that's saying a lot. Please if you haven't, watch it. You won't regret it ❤️
Untamed was phenomenon in its era.... It was just a start for historical BL dramas... Each new upcoming BL drama has to set new level and cross the previous.... After WOH expectations are again going to be high... It's so fun to see the BL battle

Honestly if you like The Untamed then I guarantee that you’ll like Heaven Official’s Blessing, the stories are kinda similar but with a different story plot and the characters are hilarious too so you’ll be getting both action and comedy with some BL romance it’s not a lot of romance but if you pay attention then you’ll see it 😌

I'm looking forward to all the dramas, but I'm also a bit anxious. I know Immortality has a huge budget, so I believe its production value will be good. However, for other "fantasy" stories like "The Winner is King" and "Heaven Official's Blessing", a small budget that leads to cheap effects, can be a big problem. The main conflict in Sha Po Lang is a war set in a steampunk setting, so the cgi needs to be top notch, otherwise everything will look awful. And Heaven Official's Blessing has so many fantasy elements and action scenes, that they will also need a high budget. I hope the dramas doesn't suffer because of this.

I hope it will be as good as The Untamed too. Then again the essence of Heaven Official's Blessing isn't like The Untamed. It is more focused on their relationship and Hua Cheng is basically googly eye over Xie Lian. There is nothing but love through his every action towards Xie Lian. Maybe they will have to change the story to suit the censorship requirement. I want eye candies and good actors just like in The Untamed. Yibo and Xiao Zhan fit their characters so well.

In my opinion do not trust her. She tried to make wen qing and wei wuxian lovers in the original script. There is even a gif of the Xuanwu cave scene where wwx saved wq instead of mianmian. There were leaks of the original script too, where LWJ and WWX parted in the end because wwx went to look for wq. Only when the chinese fans scolded her did she changed it.

Same here!. They actually got a plot. I stopped watching some BL dramas because too many fanservice and not enough plot, cringe. I initially don't want to touch Untamed at all! the trailer, sneakpeak, review never interest me, even I tried looking at the manga. But due to the hype and the recommendations, I finally started a few days ago, and it is amazing. I mean, I start with a negative mindset and I fell in love with it. And actually made it to eps 50 while crying every 3 episodes. In my opinion, heaven's official blessing and immortality have even more potential. I think both gave me trauma from the novel only. Imagine watching them like the untamed. Amazing writer, amazing team. Masterpiece drama.
Admit it... that "The Untamed" is literally the best...you can just feel the awesome chemistry and love (even without skinship) and not even a single second of it is boring... everything about it give us chills and we still haven't move on from it!!
For me Word of Honor is more entertaining than The Untamed. My excitement on The Untamed get less from episode to episode, i even skipped some episodes just to know how the ending. For Word of Honor i even really want to rewatch each of episode to see every detail and until now it still does not make me bored at all.

I'm interrested in them all, but particularly Heaven Official's Blessing. I saw a few of the animated episodes and found an English translation of the novel and it is extremely good so far. It feels much more lighthearted than The Untamed and I'm anxious to find out what happens to the characters. I'm curious how they will film thing in the book, as the protagonist is extremely observant of minor details around him. Some he explains to other characters that he noticed and when, others seem to be pointed out to us readers in his own thoughts when something important is said or done, so it should be fun to see how its made. The characters are adorable and interesting so far.
@@lizyliz970 exactly my thought. I have to take breaks in between the novel when it went into xie lian's "dark" period...I don't want to give any spoilers... Wei Ying's life was tragic but it was quite short-lived compared to xie lian's tragedy which dragged on for what seems like forever.
Honestly, I do not want to compare but everything about Word of honor is so good that I personally rate it above all bls at the moment. I mean ALL because I have seen almost all bls of all countries.

I'm excited for winner is king (I read the novel and it's now one of my favourites), immortality (this one has caught my eye, I will read it after my current one) , heavens official blessing (I also read this one and it tugged my heart in all directions). Currently Word of honour is airing and I automatically fell in love with this. Jumped into the novel cause I couldn't wait for the episodes.
The Untamed’s been echoing my mind everyday, cannot get over the bond of Wuxian and Lan Zhan. I have not read the novel but have watched the drama, so I wouldn’t tag a name to their relationship since there are some relationships that we can not categorize under one category but feeling it. The Untamed taught me a good life value lesson . For me, I felt the strong bond of them more than any other romantic relationships. You don’t have to touch a person to love him or her, you don’t have to worry about someone’s sexual orientation. As long as you trust each other, you understand each other and you stand by each other, love exists. ❤️ I literally cried my heart and eyes out watching the Untamed

After watching The Untamed I got caught up in these types of Novels and I've read a few of them in the past year. I am happy to see that they will also get drama adaptations. Personally I am looking forward to see them all. I will still have some novels to read by the time they will be released. ☺️

I’m here in 2022 and still waiting the release of any yet however immortality is still positive on release. TBH, Untamed and MDZS will be forever foremost in my heart. WOH was wow and actors were just amazing together. I’ve read all these novels and looking forward to Heavens Official Blessing first. However, my other favorite is 1000 Autumns and I think it would make an amazing bl series. I would love to see that!
The Untamed was masterpiece and I hope Immortality as good as it too. The untamed is not just the main characters that are loveable, even the villain are well love by fans too.
The fact that I didn't even know about Word of Honor, the fact that I didn't wanted to watch when YT recommended, the fact that no one was waiting for this drama, the fact that is a low budget drama, the fact that didn't had promotions, the fact that everyone doubt about this drama, but I clicked the first episode and it was enough to fall in love, TU was #1 for me but Word of Honor is so fucking good, that stolen that spot, number one for me in my heart, is funny, more romantic than the original novel, very well adapted, the screenwriter is a queen, the producers did an amazing job, the lines, the chemistry, the fighting scenes, the costumes from wen Ke Xing and others characters really stunning (is the first drama that have so much diversity in both characters -many old actors- and costumes, the OSTs are so good, specially tian wen that shows explicitly the love between Wenzhou. Funny fact: the screenwriter added lines, scenes and even poetry that are not in the novel!!!! That's why for me this is the best bl adaptation, cuz is really an adaptation and not a copy of the novel like others bl dramas.

I've read the novels for Immortality, Winner is King, and Heaven Official's Blessing. Immortality is my second favorite BL novel (so I hope they really do justice to it), but the other two are also good. Sha Po Lang/Winner is King was written by my favorite BL author, and Heaven Official's Blessing was written by the same author of The Untamed.
"Advance Braverly" used to be my num one series until untamed came and Adv Brav became 2nd then. But after Untamed, I could never watch any other series anymore bcz I would drop them even before their 1ep ends 😅tbh I'm still not over THE UNTAMED....They are my number 1❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭😭😭 but this year I think I have found a series which I can say making me mad like untamed did and that series is "Word Of Honor" seriously people should watch this series too bcz it has good story line, good visuals, good chemistry between the actors and many more❤️❤️. Oh I'm really waiting for all these series and most excited about "Heaven Official's blessing" live action

My favourite series of all time is the untamed and word of honor they are both out of this worrrlllld the emotions can be felt without any kissing or much touching and that's what makes these two the best
I don't care If they take the physical BL aspect out as long as they can convey and make us feel the chemistry and love like we felt with the Untamed. So far nothing has surpassed the Untamed for me. Yibo and Xiao Zhan were utterly amazing and gave us a deeper more meaningful connection that Is hardly felt or portrayed even by actors who do get physical or kiss on screen.
I can really recommend "The heaven's official blessing" and "Word of Honor" aka "Faraway wanderers" to you. They are both worth it (and the actors are so handsome in Word of Honor and there is a lot of flirting going on - only heavens know how they passed the censorship ㅋㅋ). The novels are also very good if you like reading wuxia novels I can totally recommend them too. I think I'll watch "the winner is king" since the stories from The Priest haven't dissapointed me so far. Mo Xiang Tong Xiu and The Priest really are my most favorite authors at the moment. Thank you for the video. I didn't know there would be a drama version of Heaven's official blessing coming soon. I only read the novel and watched the donghua - I hope they will choose good and handsome actors for the drama like they did with Mo Dao Zu Shi and the drama adaption The Untamed👀 Edit: OH MY GOD okay I'm so gonna watch the winner is king since the actor of "handsome siblings" is one of the main actors😍 They really chose good actors for The Priest's dramas - luckily
After watching untamed I have searched for many dramas like it but I didn't get anyone but now one drama get my attention and it is word of honor it is really an amazing drama after untamed this is the best drama to watch.

I hope it will be as good as The Untamed too. Then again the essence of Heaven Official's Blessing isn't like The Untamed. It is more focused on their relationship and Hua Cheng is basically googly eye over Xie Lian. There is nothing but love through his every action towards Xie Lian. Maybe they will have to change the story to suit the censorship requirement. I want eye candies and good actors just like in The Untamed. Yibo and Xiao Zhan fit their characters so well.

In my opinion do not trust her. She tried to make wen qing and wei wuxian lovers in the original script. There is even a gif of the Xuanwu cave scene where wwx saved wq instead of mianmian. There were leaks of the original script too, where LWJ and WWX parted in the end because wwx went to look for wq. Only when the chinese fans scolded her did she changed it.

Same here!. They actually got a plot. I stopped watching some BL dramas because too many fanservice and not enough plot, cringe. I initially don't want to touch Untamed at all! the trailer, sneakpeak, review never interest me, even I tried looking at the manga. But due to the hype and the recommendations, I finally started a few days ago, and it is amazing. I mean, I start with a negative mindset and I fell in love with it. And actually made it to eps 50 while crying every 3 episodes. In my opinion, heaven's official blessing and immortality have even more potential. I think both gave me trauma from the novel only. Imagine watching them like the untamed. Amazing writer, amazing team. Masterpiece drama.

For me Word of Honor is more entertaining than The Untamed. My excitement on The Untamed get less from episode to episode, i even skipped some episodes just to know how the ending. For Word of Honor i even really want to rewatch each of episode to see every detail and until now it still does not make me bored at all.

I'm interrested in them all, but particularly Heaven Official's Blessing. I saw a few of the animated episodes and found an English translation of the novel and it is extremely good so far. It feels much more lighthearted than The Untamed and I'm anxious to find out what happens to the characters. I'm curious how they will film thing in the book, as the protagonist is extremely observant of minor details around him. Some he explains to other characters that he noticed and when, others seem to be pointed out to us readers in his own thoughts when something important is said or done, so it should be fun to see how its made. The characters are adorable and interesting so far.

@@lizyliz970 exactly my thought. I have to take breaks in between the novel when it went into xie lian's "dark" period...I don't want to give any spoilers... Wei Ying's life was tragic but it was quite short-lived compared to xie lian's tragedy which dragged on for what seems like forever.

I'm excited for winner is king (I read the novel and it's now one of my favourites), immortality (this one has caught my eye, I will read it after my current one) , heavens official blessing (I also read this one and it tugged my heart in all directions). Currently Word of honour is airing and I automatically fell in love with this. Jumped into the novel cause I couldn't wait for the episodes.

The Untamed’s been echoing my mind everyday, cannot get over the bond of Wuxian and Lan Zhan. I have not read the novel but have watched the drama, so I wouldn’t tag a name to their relationship since there are some relationships that we can not categorize under one category but feeling it.
The Untamed taught me a good life value lesson . For me, I felt the strong bond of them more than any other romantic relationships. You don’t have to touch a person to love him or her, you don’t have to worry about someone’s sexual orientation. As long as you trust each other, you understand each other and you stand by each other, love exists. ❤️ I literally cried my heart and eyes out watching the Untamed

I’m here in 2022 and still waiting the release of any yet however immortality is still positive on release. TBH, Untamed and MDZS will be forever foremost in my heart. WOH was wow and actors were just amazing together. I’ve read all these novels and looking forward to Heavens Official Blessing first. However, my other favorite is 1000 Autumns and I think it would make an amazing bl series. I would love to see that!

The Untamed was masterpiece and I hope Immortality as good as it too. The untamed is not just the main characters that are loveable, even the villain are well love by fans too.
The fact that I didn't even know about Word of Honor, the fact that I didn't wanted to watch when YT recommended, the fact that no one was waiting for this drama, the fact that is a low budget drama, the fact that didn't had promotions, the fact that everyone doubt about this drama, but I clicked the first episode and it was enough to fall in love, TU was #1 for me but Word of Honor is so fucking good, that stolen that spot, number one for me in my heart, is funny, more romantic than the original novel, very well adapted, the screenwriter is a queen, the producers did an amazing job, the lines, the chemistry, the fighting scenes, the costumes from wen Ke Xing and others characters really stunning (is the first drama that have so much diversity in both characters -many old actors- and costumes, the OSTs are so good, specially tian wen that shows explicitly the love between Wenzhou.
Funny fact: the screenwriter added lines, scenes and even poetry that are not in the novel!!!! That's why for me this is the best bl adaptation, cuz is really an adaptation and not a copy of the novel like others bl dramas.

I've read the novels for Immortality, Winner is King, and Heaven Official's Blessing. Immortality is my second favorite BL novel (so I hope they really do justice to it), but the other two are also good. Sha Po Lang/Winner is King was written by my favorite BL author, and Heaven Official's Blessing was written by the same author of The Untamed.

I started watching Word of Honor on a whim, not really expecting much. What happened is that in some minutes I was already hooked. The plot is really interesting and the moment both main actors met I knew I was done for.
Y'all, the cHEMISTRY. THE LONG STARES, THE TOUCHES, THE ANCIENT LOVE POEM RECITING FROM ONE OF THE ACTORS TO THE OTHER (and shameless flirting 24/7)... theres so many hidden references to ancient poems or sayings that are part of the script - like disguised. You can look it up on TH-cam.
tbh... compared to The Untamed, this is another completely different level, how did they even pass censorship??? I'm not complaining tho akdjks
Also, the action scenes! so well choreographed. The script is so beautiful too, gosh. This drama is a 10/10. I was expecting nothing and instead gained a new love for a drama. It's on the same level as The Untamed for me and that's saying a LOT

My favourite series of all time is the untamed and word of honor they are both out of this worrrlllld the emotions can be felt without any kissing or much touching and that's what makes these two the best
I don't care If they take the physical BL aspect out as long as they can convey and make us feel the chemistry and love like we felt with the Untamed. So far nothing has surpassed the Untamed for me. Yibo and Xiao Zhan were utterly amazing and gave us a deeper more meaningful connection that Is hardly felt or portrayed even by actors who do get physical or kiss on screen.
I can really recommend "The heaven's official blessing" and "Word of Honor" aka "Faraway wanderers" to you. They are both worth it (and the actors are so handsome in Word of Honor and there is a lot of flirting going on - only heavens know how they passed the censorship ㅋㅋ). The novels are also very good if you like reading wuxia novels I can totally recommend them too. I think I'll watch "the winner is king" since the stories from The Priest haven't dissapointed me so far. Mo Xiang Tong Xiu and The Priest really are my most favorite authors at the moment. Thank you for the video. I didn't know there would be a drama version of Heaven's official blessing coming soon. I only read the novel and watched the donghua - I hope they will choose good and handsome actors for the drama like they did with Mo Dao Zu Shi and the drama adaption The Untamed👀
