I also refuse to believe those cards that trade speed for HP are ever worth it, especially for muskets and hand infantry. It's just so bad to be even more kiteable by skirms than they already are
Gotta admit, I forgot the Grenadier's newfound melee skill. Much less vulnerable to melee infantry. Lancers are scary to see vs grens, but looks like there was enough musket and few enough lancers to be safe.

They don't regenerate HP as such, they can gain promotion and thus more HP in total
