Excellent review and speaking of their competitor based in Hong Kong it's Hong Kong Express UO the LCC arm of Cathay Pacific. The competitor UO also operates to MNL as the 8pm arrival. UO A321neos are the A321-251N version like their Full service airline CX versions

Cebu Pacific's seats are notoriously cramped. Noel Phillips did a trip report on them flying MNL-DXB. Their A330 has seats an unheard of 10 abreast.

It’s a budget airline catered mostly for tourists on a budget where they prefer to spend their $$ on their destination rather than paying for the services on board offered by legacy airliners. FYI their A330s are 3-3-3 seating configuration, not 10 abreast. I’m 5’9 ft and even their new seats don’t recline, it’s tolerable. Although I never liked their tray tables as it’s very small.

@@OwenTravels Correct Owen and for legacy carriers PR is also 3-3-3 on their A330-330s RP-C8760-8789 fleet some are 2-4-2 like a CX/KA B-HLx B-LBx fleet. If you do HKG-MNL on both CX and PR PR fiesta class is 29in like a 5J A330 but CX is 30-32 in on A330s at a. Amenties wise CX is AC plug all classes on widebodies PR USB only in Fiesta Class but Mabuhay and Comfort Class passengers get AC and USB

@Archduke17 you have to take into account that Cebu Pacific primarily caters to Filipinos who are quite a bit shorter than Americans at Europeans being most of the time less than 5'10. The seat pitch of Cebu Pacific is enough for their primary customers so I cant really blame them

Correct and when I asked a hong konger about the A321neo between CX🇭🇰 vs PR and 5J🇵🇭 the Cathay pacific version beats Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific versions.
