2:22 I've flown over crystal ground My existence numb Over orchards of grievance Sorrow and tears This beautiful silence It calls me now .... Amazing and beautiful rendition. All hail Jon's spirit
This made my evening. Gonna convert it and put in my mp3-player for work. A shame Jon is no longer around to see this. I would love a cover on Where dead angels lie.
That, I'm looking forward to. A lot of Dissection songs have weird and speedy bridges and parts, but W.D.A.L is somewhat slower and very melodic which lends itself well to instrumental covers like this. The context of dissection songs also work very well for occult ritual purposes, so instrumentals like these would not only be earcandy, but also certainly become useful to anyone who is initiated into the deep dark concepts that dissection ment to sonically evoke. Enjoy your weekend. /D.
Dexter Lacroy Yes, Where dead angels lie has some beautiful melodies and harmonies that would really shine on those instruments. That would be a fun project, I'll certainly try it out. Thanks, you as well! \m/
+Silhouette91 Either that or a rendition of "No dreams breed in breathless sleep" with piano & violin. People who don't get black metal say it sounds like noise and static but when I hear a good song it sounds like a classical music piece to me. Exactly how u play it. Atmospheric. Another suggestion I think would be great would be Sargeist's self titled song "Sargeist". That would fucking rule
Wow. This was cool. You got good skills. Dissection comes from my home town (strömstad)and I have allways listend to them. Keep up the amazing work you do..
Beautifully executed! Very well done.I'm sure that Jon Nodveidt would be honoured by this acoustic arrangement. You gave me "the feeling".The hairs on my arm stood on end! Nice one. Please do more Black Metal covers in this style. It really works.🔥🤘🔥
You pick some awesome shit to cover, consider me a fan. I'll definitely be checking out the bands you are/were in. Any Yonder Realm releases coming up that'll feature you?
Thanks a lot! It's very appreciated. Yes in fact, we (Yonder Realm) just finished recording our first full length and it's now in the mixing process. It should be coming out in the next month or 2. We'll be posting updates on our Facebook facebook.com/pages/Yonder-Realm/212708060254?ref=br_tf Thanks again for watching!
Nice interpretation! I feel as though I would be remiss were I not to mention that your piano does need a good tuning session, however. It can be looked past (I know that costs money and all that). It's definitely something to get done if you plan on making a lot of videos with it though.
I really like your version, but fragments with piano only seem to be lacking something. If you played violin all along the piano it would be even better. Cheers!
Everytime I hear Dissection on other instruments I think Dissection should become an own genre.

Jon Nödtveit's father was a proffessional classical scholard musician if im not mistaken ^^ :D

Some parts of that piano sounds quite similar to Entombed's Intermission, from the album Inferno.
Good call! Rest in power LG

Thanks! It is an old piano and definitely needs tuning. I'm planning on using my keyboard more in the future to avoid that problem
Fucking great

If your still active,Im not making a request, altough I think you would do "Mephorash - Sfaira Tis Fotias" very very, very nicely!
