Hidden paradise are you freaking kidding I was there right after 911 in my teens for a 50 person full moon party hidden not at all and back than 2 dollar for a bugalow with laundry included with no so much toxic western tourism that has destroyed much of the forest for development..

Dany & Byanca, can feel you both have more positive energy and having fun in Koh Phangan! Hmm, I like the peacefulness and the tranquillity of the place and hotel. I believe we dun always get the chance to dance and play in the rain. Also, the coconut trees are characteristics of tropical SEA countries. Indeed, it's a different kind of vibe and mood. Peaceful and wonderful experience! Great drone shots as usual!
Nice video! Ive been to koh phangan in 2012, 2015, and 2020 (before the pandemic). Love to see that while it has had some developments, the island still managed to stay almost the same. Looking forward to be back in the very near future.

Love the vibe of Koh Phangan and your hotel 👍Koh Phagnan looks like a paradise in the rain with the fogs/clouds hanging among the mountain peaks.
I heard there’s big community of digital nomads there, living healthy lifestyle. Maybe that’s why you saw many young people and boutique cafes on the island. For information, Koh Samui, before it became tourist hotspot, was known among Thais for its coconut harvest and monkeys and I guess it was true for Koh Phagnan too (hence lots of coconut trees).

Thanks for this. Mae Haad is my favourite beach in the world. I lived in a hut on the beach for a couple of months 10 years ago before that amazing new resort was built. Thanks for rekindling the memories.
Haad Mae Haad is my favourite beach in the world too! Would visit every year for a month, 5 years straight ... haven't been back since 2018 though, miss it, great place to go snorkeling too.

Hi Dany! Were ferries running to/from Koh Phangan while it was raining like that? Planning to visit the island soon, but I'm worried about that I'd be stuck there and can't catch my flight. Great video btw!
I stayed in Ko Phangyang, and it is a more spiritual crowd as you say. There is a party scene in Hat Rin, but most of the Island is quiet without being at all comatose. I prefer it to Ko Samui, but they are both great destinations. It is an individual choice. Both are a night ferry from Surat Thani.
Great video. We’re visiting in December - possibly even Christmas day or thereabouts. I was considering staying on Bottle Beach but now after seeing your hut I’m undecided 🤷🏼♂️

I was looking up Zen Beach Ko Phangan and your one popped up, did you go there? My favourite out of many beautiful beaches were Zen Beach and Malibu Beach 🏖 There are many more funky places to stay on the island some are very affordable where it’s possible to stay long term! While I was there I found an amazing beach that’s not on Google, sorry for not telling you where it is, once you stay longer it’s possible to discover it, or find your own one 🤞🏖. I think the island is a lot like Siargao island in the Philippines, before the typhoon of course!
How is the weather in thailand during june/july in the phuket area? Is it sunny every day or cloudy/rain? Thanks :)
