I’m marathoning on all the videos of Critter Fixers. I love watching the friendship between Dr. Ferguson and Dr. Hodges. What’s so beautiful to watch is how much they and their team value the life of any animal that’s brought in…from reptiles to birds, from skunks to cows, and more. Every episode is heartwarming.
That's fantastic that these two vets have a small farm, partly because they love farming, but also because they want to use it as a "teaching" farm for kids 🥰
The never mention that National Geo. pays the bill for every critter that we see treated on TV episodes. In real life, NO ONE would EVER spend $1,200 to have a tumor removed from a pet hamster; not counting the pathology bill, nor would ANYONE spend hundreds of dollars to treat a chicken with 'bumblefoot', ffs.
As long as they love what they are doing they are fine me.when you have a sick pet it should not matter the color of thier skin, let them do the job they studied and trained for. They are Great Men
@Theresa Buchanan yes because what MLK said " Not the color of the skin but the character of their hearts!". Dr Ferguson and Dr Hodges loves their patients and owners. Love them.
I love them both. I was really impressed hearing Dr. Hodges tell that young cat owner that he saved it's eye and that he was going to check on her later. I can't believe that he did surgery on that little skunk and didn't put it down. That's real family medicine there.
My Aunt used to be a Birds of Prey Rehabber. I enjoyed many hours watching, and even helping feeding owls, hawks, and even other hurt animals she would care for if she wasn’t too busy. Thank you for helping the hawk. He’s a beauty.
Love Dr's Ferguson and Hodges and staff. They really love their vocations. And are compassionate...with both patients and owners. They crack me up with their humor. Hotel Hodges lol
Doctors, I love your show. You love what you do and it shows. I just saw the episode where Dr. Hodges removed a 5-6 lb tumor on a dog. It was amazing and the dog is doing very well. You two make a great partnership. You compliment each other. And Dr. Hodges you keep doing what (besides surgical procedures) you do best: Talking! 😂
I wish we had these guys here in West Virginia. Dr.Hodges & Dr.Ferguson are truly animal angels. May our good lord Jesus Christ bless you both and your families and staff.
I've been doing rescue for over 50 years and yes I have fallen in love and kept several. I have a feral cat rescue in my house in Monticello Arkansas and I get very attached to my special needs babies.
Really felt for the owners…our Boxer is 10 and developed some spinal issues which cause his foot and leg to turn in. Fortunately he’s in no pain…on meds. If it does become painful we have that hard decision to make…we don’t let our animals suffer.
Turns out he has the canine version of ALS…his legs are worse but he’s still, happy, eating and playing. Our hearts are broken but we are trying to set that to one side. Not going be a good year.
Do they get paid when people come in with wild animals they find like that king snake or the little gecko the vet fix with the hole in his side? These vets are so compassionate. I really like them 😊!
Notice that they love to hug people, but NEVER-EVER do they reveal the prices they charge. Might be a fun show to watch but anyone who has taken a sick pet to the vet will almost always mention the outrageous fees they must pay; even multi-hundred dollar fees just to put your beloved pet out of its misery.
Used to love this show. but now I can't get it any more because I, m going to be getting something different than direct tv hopefully when I get it I will be able to get it again
This what veterinary medicine should be with these guys, unfortunately, there are too many vets that don't even examine the animals and ask the client what is wrong with the animal and then throw some drugs at it or nothing , if you don't want to pay for a bunch of tests and possible surgery. It is as if they rely totally on whatever the tests say and have no background experience to reference, which is wrong. The tests are only guidelines, the dr. needs to be able to analyze the whole situation and get to the root of the problem. Finally seeing some vets in the US that can compete with competence with others in the UK, Spain, and Australia with their videos. Money cannot be your primary motivation if you are in the healthcare field, otherwise, you are in the wrong field. There are many vets who are afraid of the animals that come in and just sedate animals unnecessarily. They need to take some training from Cesar Millan.
There is a vet in east Texas that sedated my GSD because, 'that is just what he does' for that breed! I was so angry, I will never go back there again. My poor boy, he may be big but he is a sweetheart.
I got a doubt that these men were really vets when one said:"loss of visibility" instead of "loss of vision". I hope I'm wrong because most of what they do is very impressive. Almost miraculous.

Absolutely appreciated seeing these 2 African American men running & owning their own vet clinic! How remarkable 😚. We need to see more videos of them
It doesn’t matter to me who they are, just knowing that these guys are caring is enough for me 🥰

Yes to more Critter Fixers.
Love these guys. They take the time to look at the animals that come in, and are willing to help each one. Truly are heroes.

A great team ❤👍👏🙌🙏
What had happened was.....😂😂😂😂😂
Cows are sooo beautiful
Maybe detective Ferguson shouldn't have left his Otoscope in the laundry... that's what I tell my husband when I wash his wallet 😉😬
wow
They should have a mentoring program
Notice that they love to hug people, but NEVER-EVER do they reveal the prices they charge. Beautimus as Dr Hodges would say
I wish you were in New Mexico.
Does anyone know if their red-vet t shirts are for sale and where can I purchase one?
These guys crazy me up
Skunks are more like cats.

Dogs will eat anything! I’ve heard of one who ate an entire soccer ball!
How He Get Insider Dog Toy Stomach Right Now

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
The German Sheppard could also be allergic to chicken.
I’m curious to where they got their masks I’m looking for that particular one. The one that is clear
I love these guys but what is with the dudes hair??
There is a vet in east Texas that sedated my GSD because, 'that is just what he does' for that breed! I was so angry, I will never go back there again. My poor boy, he may be big but he is a sweetheart.
When is a mew season coming? Dont telle they are not coming back!
A service dog should NOT growl.
I got a doubt that these men were really vets when one said:"loss of visibility" instead of "loss of vision". I hope I'm wrong because most of what they do is very impressive. Almost miraculous.
Are these vets related, a couple, or just good friends? Only curious because they own a clinic and a farm together 👥
They went to vet school together and became friends and decided to go into business together. Each has their own family.
@@mpdnd1335 thanks 😊
