christine, the most beautiful blonde in the universe, a wonderful singer and composer. for me: 50% of fleetwood mac. without her, theres a BIG EMPTYNESS. thanks chris for your songs
Come on admit it folk , have you ever heard a guitarist play like that !! I was 14 when I bought this album and still sounds as fresh as now and I am 66.
I'm a year older than you but my wife and daughter keep telling me i act like I'm 14. Seriously. They walk about 15 feet in front of me, mainly because our local mall has 3 domes in it that will amplify sound. I know where to stand and howl like a wolf and ½ the mall will hear it.
wish i`d made the effort to see the 70`s lineup live but never did , although i did see peter green 30th may 2010 at a live local gig at a converted barn . as you`re probably aware peter green is the founder of the 60`s fleetwood mac lineup . for some reason also reminds me of missing out seeing supertramp live in the 70`s
I miss her vocals very much as I miss her as a person so I am twice always impressed with the vocals so much for the group. Yes, she was a group person called working with guy like Lindsey Buckingha m. Battle of d ashiloh Shiloh.
Whomever got to see these shows got a good time. The world never knew what it had with Christine, until she was gone. Her songs will live forever though.
Without Christine McVie, Fleetwood Mac just isn’t Fleetwood Mac. She was the anchor of their sound. There was an androgyny to her voice that was key to their massive success. She led some of their biggest hits and her vocals appealed to all, men and women.
Bel hommage.
I'm "gutted", as the Brits say, She is gone. I've been listening to her music tonight, shedding tears, sensitive, don't want this pain. Is there a heaven I can find? I'll carry on the best I can, with all of you and Dear Lady Christine, we will meet somewhere someday.
this is my first time watching this.. and I Totally Saw that. Stevie Seems to be a Fabulous Collaborative musician.. even if that's not how it looks on paper.
Fleetwood Mac was built on the foundation that no matter how much each member currently hated the other members, Stevie and Christine were close friends
Christine Anne Perfekt McVie 💕💕🙏🙏 ( Sweet Beautiful Songbird ❤️) your Beautiful Voice is so calming ! Christine I Wish you all the Love in the World Ah But Most Of All I Wish It From Myself ❤️💕Very thankful that your Muzik will live on forever ! Again Sweet Songbird ! God bless & peace out ✌️🙏🙏💕💕❤️❤️🙏🙏💐🌸🏵️🌼🌺🍀❤️💛💙💚🇺🇸🇩🇪
All equals in this performance, outstanding banjo and Christine's voice is as always beautiful, I have loved this song since I was 7 back in 1977 when my mother played Rumours all the time.
Not meaning to burst any bubbles, but Mick fuels himself with massive amounts of coke. Remember this was the band that almost gave liner credits to their dealer. It isn't hard to see in his facial contortions if you've been around people doing the same stuff.
FM was at their prime in this concert. All members. My opinion - they all sounded the best at this time. This is even better than when they were younger. Sad Christine passed and Lindsey was booted. Would have been nice to see them one more time with those two. RIP Christine.
I couldn't agree with you more. Especially before SN & LB. If you've got time, listen to her songs on the FM albums, Penquin, Mystery to Me, and Bare Trees. Her songs are emotionally powerful, speaking of jaded love, unfulfilled love and what she hopes could be. God Bless You Ms. McVie, may you RIP.
Christine McVie looks more enchantingly beautiful here in this video, than I've ever seen her. I've been a Fleetwood Mac fan since 1977:) Christine adds a flourish of class and dignity that raises Fleetwood Mac to a higher level, than other rock bands of the era. And her musicianship is highly compelling and memorable. Love ya always Christine!
I think everyone feels the loss of Christine. But she will live forever in her songs and music with the Fleetwood Mac family. RIP Christine we all love you.
@michaelsly510 Yes she was. It was completely her decision. Stevie even asked her if she wanted to be out front more with her, and Christine said "No" Class act all the way!
Stevie has a huge amount of respect for Christine and vice versa. Despite all the rivalries and fallings out in the band their friendship never faltered. When Christine quit for 15 years she gave Stevie a diamond ring to remember her by and Stevie wore it every day til she came back
She also had put on a few lbs. which might have much to do with it.. It wasn't her fault she gained the weight. She was using a medication that causes severe weight gain without ever changing the diet or activity routine. Anti-depressants do that, but she was taking some other medication that creates the same problem.
Fleetwood Mac will never be the same without Christine, she is very sadly missed
fm will never be the same without lindsey buckingham. takes 2 guitarists to replace him.
What happened to Christine
Lindsay rocking that banjo is awesome.
CHRISTINE THX FOR YOUR MUSIC.
Mick always looks like he's having more fun than anyone else.
Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
He is entertaining 😎 😁🥰 ACE hahaha hahaha Imposters name please hahaha
Christine is the voice of Fleetwood Mac. RIP Christine.
Yes Abe, so true
Absolutely!
Her voice is so down to earth 🌎
👍
Yep no more stevie
...unfortunately, I cannot click "like" every time I listen to this great piece....
she MADE this band! PERIOD!!!
Agree
Christine McVie is one of the most criminally underrated people in the Rock stratosphere
Agree. Her voice is what makes this song for me.
Love her!
Agree
Shes an angel
Strong words , but yeah I always pick Christines songs she is the best
So sad to learn of the passing of Christine McVie today. She was an essential part of the magic that is Fleetwood Mac.🌹
Aw that’s a shame I hadn’t heard about it x
RIP lovely lady u r missed
RIP, Songbird. We are lesser now.
The world is a sadder place since we lost Christine.
Yes, it is. 😪
lindsey buckingham can play anything.
Brilliant, Brilliant just Brilliant . RIP Christine .
Mick is always the life of the band.
RIP sweet Christine! FM is finished!
Forever Christine.
christine, the most beautiful blonde in the universe, a wonderful singer and composer. for me: 50% of fleetwood mac. without her, theres a BIG EMPTYNESS. thanks chris for your songs
How perfect and pure is this, what a classic!
I'm watching this on the day she died. She was a beautiful singer
Come on admit it folk , have you ever heard a guitarist play like that !! I was 14 when I bought this album and still sounds as fresh as now and I am 66.
It's cool but it's a banjo.
I'm a year older than you but my wife and daughter keep telling me i act like I'm 14. Seriously. They walk about 15 feet in front of me, mainly because our local mall has 3 domes in it that will amplify sound. I know where to stand and howl like a wolf and ½ the mall will hear it.
This was my mom's favorite song; she'd dance and sing to it in the kitchen. 50 years later my kids are also listening to Fleetwood Mac. Amazing!
wish i`d made the effort to see the 70`s lineup live but never did , although i did see peter green 30th may 2010 at a live local gig at a converted barn . as you`re probably aware peter green is the founder of the 60`s fleetwood mac lineup . for some reason also reminds me of missing out seeing supertramp live in the 70`s
Is anyone else blown away by Lindsay's banjo playing???
Bryan Bloom Me! I love the banjo on this tune
When he plays the guitar he uses a banjo picking style so it's an easy transition for him. He's a true talent !
Bryan Bloom honestly : no. Lindsay is very much a One dimensional Player, good but no versatility.
@@gusseisern1151 You're better than him I guess?
pretty stellar. if he had to break a string his timing was good too!
Man that Lindsey Buckingham is something else! 🤩
Great arraignment, Christine was perfect. RIP
This performance is sheer perfection. RIP Christine, and thank you for the joy you brought us for so many years.
I miss her vocals very much as I miss her as a person so I am twice always impressed with the vocals so much for the group. Yes, she was a group person called working with guy like Lindsey Buckingha m. Battle of d ashiloh Shiloh.
There'll be more to come from her one day !
They revealed last month that she died of cancer. 79
just teared up...had no idea how much I missed Christie..RIP
I'm sorry, but Christie can't sing well.
Christine McVie - classy and talented lady. She wrote FM's best songs IMO.
She didn’t need any wardrobe gimmicks or other frills. She just went out and sang, often just her and a piano.
Oh Christine ... that voice still haunts us ....
When you think of Fleetwood Mac, so many people think of Stevie Nicks, but Christy McVie is just as good in her own way. Both are great singers.
azcharlie2009 Funny thing is, I usually think McVie first, because of this song and "Don't stop"
chistine is better
For me, as I began listening to the original Fleetwood Mac first, it is always Christine that I think of first
I love Stevie, but god damn Chistine does it for me!
Christie Mcvie takes a back seat to no one.
Mick said that without Christine McVie there will be no more Fleetwood Mac as a band. So he knew her importans to the band.
absolutely the truth... the mac.. in FM represents Christine after all!
Glad i got to see Fleetwood Mac with Christine back (2015 Cleveland, Ohio).
Mesmeric...
Jessus I'v listened so many times ---- the start perfection.
thanks for your contribution god bless
Bel hommage.
Beautifully said! She was an angel of extraordinary talent. I feel the same way.
The musical chemistry Fleetwood Mac displayed on "The Dance" was unsurpassed.
Fleetwood Mac is pure classic rock
How can anyone thumbs down this? Millennials need to grow up soon!
Those damn obnoxious Stevie Nicks fans at it again!
Christine you will be missed. RIP sweet lady.
I'm "gutted", as the Brits say, She is gone. I've been listening to her music tonight, shedding tears, sensitive, don't want this pain. Is there a heaven I can find? I'll carry on the best I can, with all of you and Dear Lady Christine, we will meet somewhere someday.
I sincerely hope you don't mind I changed my written words. I came back and was in tears again.
One of the best remakes ever!
The line up is perfect. RIP Christine
LEGENDS...❤
Christine McVie is the best looking 71 year old woman by far! Keep the magic flowing.
John Keeley And a classy woman as well.
+John Keeley I agree. Never saw her look better than she did here.
+John Keeley She looks fantastic. And, I really love her voice.
I heard them for their Memphis concert in 97. It was wonderful!
Well, she was only 54 in this video.
Say you love me ❤❤❤
Bingley hall Stafford '86 I think. I was there. Christine was perfect. Rip
26 hours of Fleetwood Mac?
Yes please!
So you see it too?
Christine McVie was the soul of Fleetwood Mac. May her memory be a blessing.
I just noticed, Stevie steps back when Christine is singing solo. That says a hell of a lot about them. Such an amazing band.
Well, she isn't going to stand there in front of the mic if she isn't going to sing for a little bit, now is she?
this is my first time watching this.. and I Totally Saw that. Stevie Seems to be a Fabulous Collaborative musician.. even if that's not how it looks on paper.
You gotta bow to a superior voice.
Fleetwood Mac was built on the foundation that no matter how much each member currently hated the other members, Stevie and Christine were close friends
Amazing band I agree, but Lindsey Buckingham was a douche and still is.
Love the banjo effect 😎👍🌟💯🎵
Christine Anne Perfekt McVie 💕💕🙏🙏 ( Sweet Beautiful Songbird ❤️) your Beautiful Voice is so calming ! She was such a great songwriter and singer. She is missed.
Yep, she wrote most, if not all of their hits. Stevie is just a hippie that could sing & got lucky.
@@banditdarval9401 I couldn't agree more. My late ex used to call Nicks "the goat lady " because of her voice. McVie was so talented.
when christy sings and stevie harmonizes it sounds so magical
agreed!
Rylee Napolitan Or when their roles are reversed it is equally magical it's hard to quantify the magic of music!! beautiful performance!!
pvtrichter88 true uvu
Agreed
im gonna watch this a million times if i have time..
I literally felt my heart jump from sudden shock of the pain from the news of her passing ... one of the most talented women out there
I had the same reaction. I just busted into tears. She was my favorite.
GENTLE SWEET LADY
Fleetwood Mac made the late 1970s beautiful. Christ McViei was my favorite
She was my favorite, too!
All equals in this performance, outstanding banjo and Christine's voice is as always beautiful, I have loved this song since I was 7 back in 1977 when my mother played Rumours all the time.
So sad to hear of Christines passing. The loss will be felt literally by millions. Thanks for the music and RIP
I'm 65 and all 3 of my sons loved Fleetwood Mac songs....their songs cross generations! Rest In Peace to Christine McVie!
Christine McVie had a remarkable voice. She will be missed.
Rest easy, Christine.
We don't need to say it, but I will anyway:
We REALLY loved you, and we will miss you.
Miss her so much ❤
Me too!😢
Love how happy Mick always looks when he's playing his drums
It is just because of playing "real music", not plastic playback sounds!
Not meaning to burst any bubbles, but Mick fuels himself with massive amounts of coke. Remember this was the band that almost gave liner credits to their dealer. It isn't hard to see in his facial contortions if you've been around people doing the same stuff.
He should have brought enough, for everybody.
How fuckin tall is he?! It's like Shrek playing with humans
@@johnhilton9023 6' 5"
Christine McVie is simply amazing! Such a talented and beautiful women.
I am just reading through the comments. Nobody has mentioned the bass player. This guy is knocking them all dead. What a weapon!
Christine sings lead on the opening number. Rest in peace, Ms. McVie.
Christines eyes could look into your soul
RIP Сhristine McVie. you brought joy to millions worldwide.
R. I. P. Christine Mcvie. Brilliant Singer /Songwriter. Now Singing with the Angels above. HEAVEN HAS A NEW SONGBIRD. 🕊️💔🕊️
What a tear jerking tune. You're from another planet if you cant identify with this
Fleetwood Mac were at their peak during this tour - what silky, smooth singing from Christine. Incredible music.
Rip lovely. Make sweet sounds on the other side. So sadly missed xx😢😢😢
FM was at their prime in this concert. All members. My opinion - they all sounded the best at this time. This is even better than when they were younger. Sad Christine passed and Lindsey was booted. Would have been nice to see them one more time with those two. RIP Christine.
Love this song
Christine McVie is the epitome of class. She was the class that held it all together.

This is how I will always remember sweet Chrissy ..God speed darlin..We love you
Christine McVie is so Beautiful...life and voice! 😚
Listening, loving and Missing! Rest well Songbird.
Christine and Mick are the towering talent in that band
No lipsyich, no back track, just people singing and playing their instruments live.
And with so much talent !
Beautiful
Living Doll ❤
My favourite Fleetwood Mac song
MINE TOO
It's my favorite too, as a vocalist, musician, and song writer, Christine McVie was a force to be reckoned with.
@@cunard61 couldn’t agree more
Christine McVie looks more enchantingly beautiful here in this video, than I've ever seen her. I've been a Fleetwood Mac fan since 1977:)
Christine adds a flourish of class and dignity that raises Fleetwood Mac to a higher level, than other rock bands of the era. And her musicianship is highly compelling and memorable. Love ya always Christine!
Check her out in the song Seven Wonders she has a real good hairstyle in that let me know what you think
Agreed IMO she is far and away a class act stevie is great singer but not even close to the class of Christine
Yep!
Flawless ….thank you Christine and fly high with the angels.
Music legends. Iconic band. ❤❤
top girl,,, top tune,,,, love all there tunes
I think everyone feels the loss of Christine. But she will live forever in her songs and music with the Fleetwood Mac family. RIP Christine we all love you.
Lindsey, while difficult, his musicianship is unparalleled. Great tune.
Loved her relaxed way of singing. What a multi-talented girl we were blessed with.
Stevie Nicks took the spotlight and Christine was totally okay with that.
@michaelsly510 Yes she was. It was completely her decision. Stevie even asked her if she wanted to be out front more with her, and Christine said "No"
Class act all the way!
god what a beautiful woman she is
One of My all time favorites ❤🎉😂❤🎉😅🎉💃🕺🌎💯🔥🐝💫💋💋💋💋💋💋💋😇💋💋😘💫💫💋💋😘💋💋💋
Holy crap this is amazing.
There is no one like Christine.
A silky smooth singer
Beautiful lady and awesome voice
Christine McVie was as talented as she was beautiful. RIP❤
This is one of her best songs. It is pretty incredible how Fleetwood Mac all work together for a truly wonderful song. Christine will be missed.
She is freakin awesome. Class personified. Today’s female artist could learn a lot from watching her
RIP 🙁
She is one of the most highly rated singer-songwriters I can think of - at least among the people who were ‘there’ in the 70s.
We lived in an incredible era, Christine you are with god now singing to the angels. when you were on earth, you were an angel here. Love you Lady.
Banjo is genius , heard this song a thousand times and still love it
I love how Stevie is standing just a little bit back. Giving Christine the spotlight. A very, classy thing to do.
She's got a good heart
they are all very talented and belong in front ,but thats what makes a band ,equal billing !!!,shes incedible singer christine
Stevie has a huge amount of respect for Christine and vice versa. Despite all the rivalries and fallings out in the band their friendship never faltered. When Christine quit for 15 years she gave Stevie a diamond ring to remember her by and Stevie wore it every day til she came back
What else was she to do? Get in front of Ms. McVie, bang a tambourine and sing harmony while McVie was singing lead on her own song?
She also had put on a few lbs. which might have much to do with it.. It wasn't her fault she gained the weight. She was using a medication that causes severe weight gain without ever changing the diet or activity routine. Anti-depressants do that, but she was taking some other medication that creates the same problem.
They sound fabulous here. The banjo just nails it!!!
Love her
