And Angelina has captivated the next reactor. First-time video. I enjoyed it. The industry will not get it. Since winning Norske talenter in 2014 (Angelina was 8), she hasn't signed anywhere. (massively protected and supported by her whole family) There have been many requests. Among others: Sony, Disney and so on. The last person to get a rejection was Simon Cowel (AGT Champions 2020). She did so in the knowledge that would not win. Please look at her appearances at AGT and judge even if a sixth place was justified. I'm hoping for more videos.😁

At Age 7, she's killing a 1920's standard GLOOMY SUNDAY and SUMMERTIME, then at Age 9, she's killing this 1956 song. Just look at the range of styles - not just vocal range - it's the STYLE RANGE that is sooo amazing. And raised on such a great diet of these old standards.

Ok.....Angelina is a child prodigy from Norway. She won Norway's Got Talent when she was 7. She's 9 in this video. She never performs wearing shoes. She was in the Middle East when she was very young and came across a child who wasn't wearing shoes and asked why. When she learnt that the young girls family couldn't afford them she said she will never wear shoes when performing until every child's family could afford them. A Million Years Ago her Adele cover will blow your mind.....This is a Man's World, The Show Must Go On ( yes she takes on Freddie) She's 14 now , and most recently appeared as a contestant on America's Got Talent The Champions where she did Bohemian Rhapsody and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Some of the words that came to my mind as I saw you watching Angelina sing: curious, intrigued, confused, bewildered, *in chock* (at the 1'38" pause), joy, happiness, _perfect bliss,_ adoration & love. It's the same journey taken by almost every one listening to this recording for the first time, and she'll do it to you again and again with almost every singe song she sings. Angelina has the ability to reach in to your chest and grab a hold on your heart, and she won't let go until you *feel* the song she's singing to you. It's not enough for her to have the audience hear the song, she want's them to _feel_ the song as strongly as she does. I'm just surprised such a prolific reactor and such a frequently requested singer took this long to cross paths. Angelina Jordan has a voice for every song and a song for every mood. When she isn't making your eyes pop out of your head she is making them stream with tears. She can charm the birds out of the trees and, if she never sang another note, has changed me as a person. I no longer despair for kids' future in the certain knowledge that there remain forces for good scattered amongst her generation. Many kids are old before their time in a negative way. Angelina, as you say, seems like she's been here before but you'll discover that this is not only revealed in her artistry; she possesses compassion and empathy beyond her years. Apart from the many performances available for reaction, I encourage you to watch some of her TV interviews separately and privately to see how respectful and grounded she is. Most of all, she has the self-assurance to be an open book in terms of her craft. Which other aspiring singer is happy to upload aborted rehearsals, missteps included? Watch her in the studio at six, which is remarkable in itself, and it's clear she has known what she wanted to do from an early age and her physiology was playing catch-up with her ambition. For me, age nine is when her voice really started to consistently obey her brain, although eerily she definitely pulled something out of the bag when she won Norway's Got Talent.

This is one of the best performance ever by any singer. She is so talented. Her voice is so strong and educated. I have heard this a lot of times but i don't get tire of listening to IT on and on and on. This was the first time i heard Angelina and i fell instanly in love with her voice. Angelina is awesome. She has over 130 covers on TH-cam. She was 9 in the video. She turned 14 this past January. She won Norway's Got Talent in 2014. She has helped raise millions for charity. She sings barefoot since she was 6. She met a young girl in a 3rd world country that had no shoes. Her feet had scars on her feet. Angelina and the girl started talking. Angelina took her shoes off and gave them to the girl. The girl said she would pray for Angelina. Angelina said she would perform barefoot until all children had shoes. Angelina wrote a book about this and became the youngest published author in Norway history at age 9.
Angelina was 9 years old in this video. She has over 120 covers and 3 original songs on youtube. She won Norway's Got Talent at Age 8. This cover is amazing, but it isn't what I would consider her "normal" voice. Angelina has a unique ability to match her voice to the song she is singing, and to convey tremendous emotion as well. I will leave it to others to recommend what songs of Angelina to react to, but you really can't go wrong with any of them. I consider her to be the greatest vocalist of all time.
Wow, you finally did it. You finally got around to reacting to Angelina Jordan Astar. I'm glad you did, & I think you are too. Yours might be the best first reaction to this classic that I've seen. Don't expect her to sound quite like this again. She doesn't usually go "demon child," as someone put it. And we don't want her to damage her vocal cords. You know there will always be some negative responses, from people who have limited tastes in music, or who don't like or understand jazz. That's okay. Everybody and their dog has covered this one. Angelina is now 14, she will never disappoint, she is wonderful, she won Norway's Got Talent at 7 years of age, check it out. She does covers as well as write and sings her own, my favorite original is "Shield". Some believe she is a reincarnation of a singer from the 30's or 40's. I am very happy to see that you will continue to react to her, and, for that reason, i am your new subscriber. That was Angelina's first classic. If you decide to jump right away to her second classic, at age twelve, it will be her cover of James Brown' s iconic song It Is a Man's World. On that occasion, she is giving a concert at the Proysenfestivalen in 2017 and is accompanied by the military orchestra of Norway. You will witness then the power of her lungs, a flawless and effortless performance and a colorful pronounciation of certain words and phrases. The whole orchestra gave her a standing ovation for her performance, even though this was not her last song of her concert.

This surtenly was a pleasent video to watch, meaning; - as I have seen Angelina doing this a few hundred times and still get blown away, your great reaction was (of course) brand new to me, and that nice smile and happiness she put to your face, was just greate. She takes ownership of every song she sings while still paying respect to the original. She never goes into unnecessary theatrics. Never sings those high or low notes unless they are absolutely necessary. Never projects herself in any performance which says "look how good I am". I loved the child-dragon-child anology you came with, that's Angelina in a nutshell, she sais she is in another, beautiful place when she is singing. As most of Norwegians we are a bit coo-coo when it comes to our treasures, we love to tell the world that we love our idols to be Norwegians. And Angelina has captivated the next reactor. First-time video. I enjoyed it. The industry will not get it. Since winning Norske talenter in 2014 (Angelina was 8), she hasn't signed anywhere. (massively protected and supported by her whole family) There have been many requests. Among others: Sony, Disney and so on.
The last person to get a rejection was Simon Cowel (AGT Champions 2020). She did so in the knowledge that would not win.

At Age 7, she's killing a 1920's standard GLOOMY SUNDAY and SUMMERTIME, then at Age 9, she's killing this 1956 song. Just look at the range of styles - not just vocal range - it's the STYLE RANGE that is sooo amazing. And raised on such a great diet of these old standards.

Ok.....Angelina is a child prodigy from Norway. She won Norway's Got Talent when she was 7. She's 9 in this video.
She never performs wearing shoes. She was in the Middle East when she was very young and came across a child who wasn't wearing shoes and asked why. When she learnt that the young girls family couldn't afford them she said she will never wear shoes when performing until every child's family could afford them.

It's the same journey taken by almost every one listening to this recording for the first time, and she'll do it to you again and again with almost every singe song she sings. Angelina has the ability to reach in to your chest and grab a hold on your heart, and she won't let go until you *feel* the song she's singing to you. I'm just surprised such a prolific reactor and such a frequently requested singer took this long to cross paths. Angelina Jordan has a voice for every song and a song for every mood. When she isn't making your eyes pop out of your head she is making them stream with tears. She can charm the birds out of the trees and, if she never sang another note, has changed me as a person. I no longer despair for kids' future in the certain knowledge that there remain forces for good scattered amongst her generation.
Many kids are old before their time in a negative way. Angelina, as you say, seems like she's been here before but you'll discover that this is not only revealed in her artistry; she possesses compassion and empathy beyond her years. Angelina is awesome. She has over 130 covers on TH-cam. She was 9 in the video. She turned 14 this past January. She won Norway's Got Talent in 2014. She has helped raise millions for charity. She sings barefoot since she was 6. She met a young girl in a 3rd world country that had no shoes. Her feet had scars on her feet. Angelina and the girl started talking. Angelina took her shoes off and gave them to the girl. The girl said she would pray for Angelina. Angelina said she would perform barefoot until all children had shoes. Angelina wrote a book about this and became the youngest published author in Norway history at age 9.
Angelina was 9 years old in this video. She has over 120 covers and 3 original songs on youtube. She won Norway's Got Talent at Age 8. This cover is amazing, but it isn't what I would consider her "normal" voice. Angelina has a unique ability to match her voice to the song she is singing, and to convey tremendous emotion as well. Wow, you finally did it. You finally got around to reacting to Angelina Jordan Astar. I'm glad you did, & I think you are too. Yours might be the best first reaction to this classic that I've seen. Don't expect her to sound quite like this again. She doesn't usually go "demon child," as someone put it. And we don't want her to damage her vocal cords. You know there will always be some negative responses, from people who have limited tastes in music, or who don't like or understand jazz. That's okay. Everybody and their dog has covered this one. This surtenly was a pleasent video to watch, meaning; - as I have seen Angelina doing this a few hundred times and still get blown away, your great reaction was (of course) brand new to me, and that nice smile and happiness she put to your face, was just greate. It`s still so fascinating to see what this girl is able to do to her listeners. I think this might be a moment of "before and after" to you, for the rest of your life. I have listened to everything she has published on TH-cam and have often been surprised at her versatility - she can sing Blues, Country, Disco, Jazz, Pop, R&B and Soul, Rock and EDM - but never disappointed by her performance.
Listening to Angelina perform is an emotional experience in itself and in an imaginative moment I likened Angelina to a chameleon, for as a chameleon adapts its colour to blend with the surroundings, so Angelina adapts the "colour" of her voice to convey the emotions of the song and communicate those emotions to the listener.
In the six years she has been singing publicly she has covered songs by Adele, Whitney Houston, Nancy and Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Lana del Ray, Gloria Gaynor, Elvis Priestly, Louis Armstrong and many others. She takes ownership of every song she sings while still paying respect to the original. She never goes into unnecessary theatrics. Never sings those high or low notes unless they are absolutely necessary. Never projects herself in any performance which says "look how good I am". She just sings the song as she feels it is meant to be sung. In life she is a very shy and humble girl. On stage she is transformed into the perfect vehicle for the song she has chosen to sing.

If you want to understand how talented she is from birth, look at her 4 Norway's Got Talent performances in 2014 (so about two year earlier of this), but those performances done in a few months are her first appearances public, you can already see what she was capable of and how her ability had improved in that limited period of time.
